We had the most amazing time at Jaz Makadi Star and Spa. The staff cannot do enough for you, you don't need to leave your sunbed for a drink they are always coming round making sure you have something to drink. The animation team are brilliant, they have lots going on from darts or water polo however I really enjoyed the stretch and yoga class everyday especially with Jade. The grounds at the hotel are beautiful with the gardeners working so hard. We would definitely come back here and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Wow! What a wonderful place, the staff are incredible they work so hard to make your stay the absolute best. I have never been so well looked after. Big shout out to the animation team and the bar staff! Thank you all so much

Our last day of a fantastic two week holiday. Thank you so much to all of the staff and entertainment team for making this an unforgettable holiday. If you're looking for a relaxing break and in a beautiful hotel then you can't go wrong with the Jaz Makadi Star. This was our first time visiting but definitely won't be our last.

me and my family went on this holiday for a week. amazing staff, amazing food and drinks amazing entertainment .5 star. it was alot more then i expected and 100% worth the money . animation team was very all including and was a range of activities for all ages every day. very enjoyable. the rooms was amazing, very spacious , nicely set and hygienic. it was a perfect place to stay . would definitely go back in the future.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was good as was service in the restaurants, bar and by the pool. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach and it would have been useful to have been provided with directions to the hotels rather small and crowded area here.
We had 3 problems in our stay
1. Dine around was difficult to book due to being a party of 4 in 2 rooms. We could not book it on line and despite several trips to reception we were not offered a table until we were settling our bill on our way down to the buffet on our final night. I mentioned this as feedback was requested and suddenly a manager got involved, was able to accommodate us in the Indian restaurant. This was lovely, one of the best Indian meals we have had. It was also half empty.
2. In keeping with most hotels we have stayed at guests tended to put towels and belongings on sunbeds before breakfast and return afterwards. On the final day we did this and returned around 10am to find our stuff had been removed and dumped by the pool. A pool attendant had done this to accommodate other guests. We were then offered 4 sunbeds which had someone else's towels on..... which I accepted aware that this would only lead to further problems. The guest who had reserved those sunbeds was very unhappy and I felt threatened by him. Management asked us to move off the sunbeds after he spoke to them and after some negotiation eventually found us some more.
I appreciate it is unfair to leave towels on sunbeds for hours when you are not occupying them but precedent had been set in the hotel and their application of this was unfair and inconsistent.
3. We had a 4am pick up on our final day. We were in reception and our transfer had arrived. We basically told we could not leave until they had checked our rooms, presumably to make sure we hadn't taken anything from the mini bar. They kept us waiting before allowing us to go.
Overall the hotel is pleasant and the food is excellent. However due to the above issues I would not return.

Excellent hotel! We stayed in November 21. Excellent service, varied food with fish and seafood regularly. The entrance to the water is very pleasant from the sand. There are reefs with beautiful and varied fish, stingrays and octopuses. I recommend it for accommodation!

30 minutes by Uber from the airport. Clean, green, well-groomed. Very calm German crowd, families with children, a few French and Ukrainians. We lived in room 102, they checked us in quickly, took into account our wishes for a quiet and peaceful place. No queues for food, sun loungers are not occupied. The staff is smiling, caring, unobtrusive. Great team! Good cross-country ability with a stroller, 8 minutes to the beach. In October, the wind blew almost every day, the sea is warm, it is cool to go out. The reef is good, after the Philippines, it seems not bright, but there are a lot of fish. We dived on the house reef, stingrays, turtles, location with vases. The water in the pool seemed cold. There is a children's club with a playground, and a baby disco. The food was very tasty and non-stop! Theme nights, divine sweets, there were local dishes. The cleaning is good, bottled water, slippers, robes, beach towels. No insects, occasionally mosquitoes bit. Surprised by the lack of smoking areas. People smoke everywhere and a lot! Wish to the hotel: create separate smoking areas! On birthdays they arrange small surprises. We got there on Halloween, it turned out to be a good holiday 😘😘😘🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

We’ve booked the royal suite for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we’ve felt special. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was really smooth and fast. They gave us a quick tour and showed us into our suite. The royal suite was royal indeed, very spacious & luxurious. The best part about the suite was the private heated pool. We used it all the time even tho we were in December and it was cold.
Food was amazing, and again the staff were very friendly and made sure we’ve got all what we need. From the moment you set foot in the restaurant, staff members come and ask you what you want to drink or if you need anything. Really overall great experience.
The entertainment was also top notch. They run shows every night at the lobby. The animation team is really friendly and engages with the guests all the time to make sure they’re always entertained and having a good time.

Great hotel, great staff. Very clean food is fantastic and all the staff could not be more helpful.
Great facilities and lovely spa, swimming pool is very nice and warm.
Entertainment team are amazing and put on fantastic shows and are really friendly and chat to all the guests, as it’s a small hotel it’s nice that they get everyone involved in all the activities.

The hotel was beautiful and everything was wonderful from the reception at the reception. The people were really cooperative and the rooms were beautiful and very clean. The drinks were very good and the service was very excellent. The food was really varied daily and the evening shows were very good. The entertainment team was wonderful, cooperative and very fun. We will return again to the hotel. It was very good. Thank you to all the people there for the good treatment.
