Bad experience, I traveled to Madrid for job reasons. I simply couldn't sleep either of my other two colleagues in another two single rooms.
The rooms were old, with marks of heavy exploitation on the walls. Being honest: the cleaning and the breakfast were not bad.
The nightmare was during the night: the noise of the street and the disco next to the hotel was terrible. Also, you felt the voice from other rooms.
They don't have noise isolation! It was impossible to sleep.
Summary: Apart from the noise (the main reason for this review), the hotel looks overexploited (it needs renovation) and understaffed.

ROOFTOP (incl POOL) IS CLOSED MOST OF THE YEAR!
We picked this hotel for the rooftop and pool. Apparently they are both closed most of the year! And there is no service to get when I pointed out that we have paid for something we are not getting.
Choose another hotel.

It says that it is a 4* hotel. And the rooms are fine, but to get 4* you need to actually do an effort. Provide good service. You don’t get that here.

Go somewhere else!

No roof terrace access. Be aware. It will be closed for a few months so you won’t get your money worthwhile.

Pros:

- Staff are nice
- Triple glazed glass/window? so despite next to busy streets, and my room is on lower floor, the room is relatively quiet, however, there have been constant internal noises due to thin walls.
- Have iron and iron board in the room which is very helpful for business travellers

Cons:

- Very small room and very bad bathroom (bad deco and slow water flow from the sink)
- Absolutely no view in my room, it’s facing “social housing” like building
- Far from city Center
- No nice restaurants nearby
- No free bottle of water on first day
- No tea bag or coffee, seriously, how much will this cost you?! After a long day of travel or need to work in front of your laptop, when you needed a cup of tea the most, any cheap tea will do and they cost pennies, simple not available.
- No basic amenities such as water kettle, toothbrush unless you request for them. Making a cup of hot tea in the morning becomes a luxury.
- Slow at getting any requested items
- two out of three Lifts not working properly
- Sofa in the lobby is too far away from any outlet making it difficult to charge for phone or laptop.

This is the worst four star hotel I have been to in Madrid and one of the most expensive rooms, the one that I regret booking the most. My advice is to look elsewhere and book something in the central with much better experience for cheaper prices. No access to the roof terraced is the epic fail and no acceptable; no other hotels that have a roof terrace is closed for months. It is shocking the the price I am paying with such poor quality room in return, with no access to the roof terrace.
