The worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed. The room is dirty. You even can see some blood spots on the bed. There is no night stand in the bedroom . The water from shower head gets cold or hot randomly. There is no sitting area in the lobby. Don’t understand why it gets 4 stars. However, the front desk staff are pretty friendly

Despite the hotel being well located in Madrid, and the friendliness of the young staff being unquestionable, the conditions of the room allocated were below the standard for a 4-star hotel. In fact, on the first day we complained about the operation of the safe, without the necessary assistance being provided immediately, leaving the matter to the following day. During the night, the toilet began to constantly leak water from the cistern, making an annoying noise. The next day, in the morning, we reported this fact to the hotel reception, and were told that they would tell the technician to come to the room. When we returned in the afternoon, the problem remained. At reception they then mentioned that perhaps I could change rooms, and gave me the key to check a new room and see if I would accept the change. After entering the new room, I noticed that the room was clearly below the standard for the hotel: a sloping ceiling made of PVC sheets, and with a skylight in the ceiling to provide light as it was poorly lit. Small windows, so much so that the person had to bend down to open them. However, we accepted the change, as there seemed to be no noise, at least from the toilet. The noise being the reason for changing rooms, ridiculously, when it started to rain on our last night, the rain started a concert on the ceiling, as if we were in a hut. It dripped in the bathroom, right in the sink area. As we paid for the room in advance, with no chance of canceling the reservation, we were conditioned as they would not give us our money back. Therefore, the hotel is not trustworthy.
