NH Collection Madrid Colon

Despite been a bit dated and in need of refurbishment (the passage, the carpets and the rooms etc), I can forgive all that and justify the high cost thanks to the AMAZING staff and the rooftop swimming pool. The location is not great unless like me you came for business, in which case banks (ATMs), taxis and nice restaurants are plentiful. Special thanks to Lilian for a smooth transition from NH Eurobuilding to NH Colon and great conversation, Yolanda for fixing my suit jacket (which she did not have to do, they don’t offer that service), Alejandro the life guard for his professionalism and diligent service and all the staff in general for their great care of me (management should be very proud of them).

Service was exceptional, truly! My expectations were vastly exceeded by literally every member of this NH Hotel’s staff I interacted with. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, if otherwise unremarkable. But, the location is great and the staff were on another level (honestly among the best I’ve encountered). Shout out to Lilian Ferrer, thank you!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel NH Collection Madrid Colón, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the front desk staff, setting the tone for a delightful stay.

The hotel itself is immaculate, with beautifully designed rooms that are both comfortable and luxurious. Every amenity you could possibly need is provided, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the incredible service provided by the concierge, Cristhian. Their dedication to ensuring my visit was memorable was unparalleled. Whether it was securing difficult-to-get dinner reservations, recommending hidden gems around the city, or arranging transportation, Cristhian went above and beyond at every turn. Their local knowledge and personalized recommendations greatly enhanced my trip, allowing me to experience the city in a way I never could have on my own. It’s rare to find such a passionate and attentive professional who genuinely cares about the guests’ experiences, and for that, I am extremely grateful.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, It is very well maintained, centrally located and the high quality of service and attention to detail remains. The rooms have been comfortable and immaculate and the staff is amazing, in particular Rosana and Lilian, they were lovely, very attentive and ready to help us. They have made us feel as if we were at home due to the closeness, attention and very pleasant conversations.

I am from Los Angeles, CA. No where here service beer with combos! We need to adapt this apart of our culture ASAP! The service was superb and the food was tasty!

We went to Madrid and chose NH Collection Colon. Excellent location. Superb service by a terrific team. Nuria, Macarena, Ana, Javier and several others whose name I can’t recall treated us like royalty and family. Breakfast was tasty and prompt. Rooms were very clean. I highly recommend NH Collection Colon.

Super clean room and the size of it was great. Comfortable bed and pillows. Linens were very clean as well. Nice shower. Coffee maker was convenient. Check in and check out were pretty fast. Decent nightly rate for the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. Overall, a good option for a chain-hotel to stay in Madrid.
