We stayed there 4 nights. It is in a prime location, close to the tourist attractions. You must try the restaurant at 1st floor. The breakfast and the food is super good. The server provides excellent services. We booked the room with food options. It is value for money. The concierge also provides very friendly and efficient services. They did allow our early check in. The only bad is the room is a little bit tiny and the coffee table is too small for us to put our sundry stuff. The hotel management should consider to put a small shelf under the TV. There is a desk but as we need to place the laptop computer and there is no space for us to put other items.

Staff were amazing, friendly and always helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything we need. Beds were comfortable and had good nights sleep. Hotel is clean and easy to navigate with signs everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and buffet had a variety to accommodate any tastes.

Top hotel in a top location. We were looked after do well during our time here. Also the rooftop is amazing. Great view and delightful cocktails. What's more, the hotel has a hidden gem of a restaurant and on Sunday they serve a traditional Cocido Madrileño that is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend a stay here. Arturo and the staff will look after you!

Dear Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Vía Management and IHG Guest Relations Team,

I am writing to recognize an extraordinary act of kindness from one of your employees, Rui Pina, who went far above and beyond anything I could have expected during my stay at Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Vía.

On October 26, I lost my purse at a Burger King in Cerceda, Spain, while traveling. When I arrived at the hotel later that day, Rui was working at the front desk. He immediately showed such genuine concern and compassion, spending hours reaching out to the Burger King in hopes of finding my purse. Even though he never received confirmation that it was there, Rui personally drove all the way to Cerceda — over an hour each way — to check for himself.

He did, in fact, locate my purse and brought it back to the hotel. Incredibly, he didn’t even tell me he was doing this or hand it to me himself. He quietly left it at the front desk for me to find — truly proving that his actions were motivated purely by kindness, not by any expectation of thanks or recognition.

When I learned what he had done, I was overwhelmed with emotion and actually cried. It wasn’t about the purse or what was inside; it was the thoughtfulness, compassion, and humility behind his actions. Rui’s kindness reminded me that there are still people in this world who genuinely care for others, and his selflessness has genuinely restored my faith in humanity.

I sincerely hope that Rui receives the recognition he deserves — both from the management team at Hotel Indigo Madrid Gran Vía and from IHG corporate. His actions embody the true spirit of hospitality, and I will never forget what he did for me.

Perfect location on Gran Via, you can walk to everything. The rooftop bar has amazing city views. The pool is tiny though, just for pictures really. Rooms are clean but very small, which is normal for the city center. Service was friendly. Good hotel for a weekend trip if you care most about being in the middle of the action.

A wonderful 4 night stay at this great hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the location is just perfect for a visit to this beautiful city.

Breakfast had such an amazing selection and on top of that you could order some freshly made dishes too. It really is wow.

Bar on top floor beside the pool is lovely with the most wonderful reviews at sunset.

Rooms were ok. Very small (even though I paid to get a king) Too small really and had to squeeze between TV and bed to get to bathroom.

Bathroom good as was shower.

Bed was real letdown. In my view mattress needed replacing as sagged in the middle. Lift too slow too!

Highly recommended though.
