This charming hotel, located just steps away from the iconic Colosseum, provided the perfect blend of convenience and local charm. Nestled in a part of town that feels quintessentially Roman, it offers a serene escape from the bustling tourist areas, allowing guests to experience the city like a true local.

The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, exuding a modern yet cozy atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff's dedication to excellent service was evident. They were always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any request or inquiry.

One of the standout features is undoubtedly the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious spread and homemade treats by Roman. Fresh pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade crepes were just a few of the offerings.

We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Rome.

Wonderful place BUT for the noise coming down the street, so if you are a light sleeper, please be advised that there are parties and gatherings up- and downstairs every night. Other than that, the service was kind and welcoming - especially Romano working in the kitchen, he deserves all the love! - and the rooms have some welcome "luxuries" like a room-wide Bluetooth for music and a TV with Netflix. The breakfast is quite slim with the options they have but as said, Romano made even that a treat with his service. The location, ignoring the noise and the parties, is wonderful.

First the highlights, it's in a great location walkable to Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps all within 15-30m. The best part of the experience was the breakfast, chef Roman was delightful, friendly and would make us basically anything we wanted. He gets 5 ⭐s, give that man a raise!

However the room decor is...a choice. They were obviously going for something hip and modern but It's not for me. The room layout was also kinda odd, felt very NYC apt where you shoehorn some rooms together. The bedroom was right next to the elevator, so you could hear it humming up and down, especially in the morning. The Room DID have great AC.

The worst part of the experience was a fire alarm that went off at 2am. Apparently someone smoking in their room is cause for a building wide evacuation. The poor guy who was working that night did his best but something was wrong with the system and they couldn't turn it off, it took a good 10-15m (Roman was the only guy on staff who apologized). But, points for safety I guess, it's a very loud alarm. Sometimes stuff happens, but I'm bumping down my review by a star.

To their credit it looks like they had a maintenance guy working out the kinks in the morning.

This boutique hotel is very centrally located. The concierge staff are very welcoming. In particular Georgio & Fabio and very helpful when we ran into unfortunate and unforseen issues.

The breakfast chef Roman was very warm and welcoming and had outstanding customer service. He was a joy to meet and brightened the start of each day with his personality and care and expertise in breakfast service and meeting his guests needs.

The room, even though beautiful in design had need of some attention. The carpet in particular had already seen better days with stains present on entry into room. The shower and bathroom was lovely. There needs to be information in the room to alert guests of what appears to be a wardrobe is actually a pull down bed....as this was a shock when trying to open. The in room intuitive communication and TV system for concierge/smart TV etc was not working.

Other points are about the evening bar staff on hotel's staff team & events. The hotel often puts events on. While we were there it was at least 3 nights. From a guest point of view you can hear these clearly through the middle of the hotel ( has open space through hotel in the middle of) to late in the night...around midnight....if not later. These were noisy. We did hear them clearly. These events are not highlighted to guests. It would be useful to know.

The bar staff were apathetic at times and not at all customer focused to hotel guests. They gave a basic service and appeared to be more interested in their own conversations than customer service of hotel guests.

Overall the hotel was OK. Maybe not ideal for those families with young children. Variable service but with some outstanding team members. Location wise was perfect. This review is meant as an honest constructive feedback and for information for future travellers.

the highlight of the hotel is definitely the staff service, which was superb. they really helped with everything and were all very kind nice and polite, especially Roman, the chef, which was simply adorable and went out of his way to make everything perfect - and indeed the breakfast was excellent! very varied fresh and tasty. he even had fresh cookies baked for us in the morning we left, since we left early. adorable! the hotel is very designed, each
floor has its own color (some will not like it - a matter of taste) and you can see that a lot of thought and effort were invested in that matter. the rooms are very spacious and functional, though i do have a remark about the decor - each room has a wall to wall carpet in the color theme. first of all, carpets are never cleaned properly in hotels so that they're always dusty. ours was also full of coffee stains, made by careless guests. it's a pity since obviously the decor was supposed to be beautiful, and maybe was before guests arrived... but now it's dirty, dusty and ruins the beautiful room. the hotel is located in the heart of beautiful Monti so it's really noisy and full of youngsters and tourists till 02:00 AM, the rooms are located right above the piazza, so if you cannot sleep when its noisy you'd have to rethink. i didn't mind the noise - on the contrary, it was fun to be in the center of things. i heartfully recommend the hotel.
