Welcoming, professional and very helpful staff. Prime location, close to subway, bus station etc. The air-conditioned room was excellent, even a bit larger than we expected. The bed was super comfy. The buffet breakfasts were beyond expectations. The reception is almost always busy, so don't be offended if you need to wait a minute or so for an available staff member.
Only two minor(!) things to mention:
1. Maybe just me, but I could find only one power (wall) socket, which was occupied by the kettle. (Yes, the room was equipped with a kettle! :-) ) Perhaps I was not thorough enough.
2. The balcony's sliding door has no handle from outside. The door (when it's not locked) still can be opened from the balcony, but a handle would be great... It got me the creeps for a second when I got out for a smoke for the first time. For a second I thought I locked myself out... :-)

Location is great, very close to train station. Hotel is right downtown with 20 minute walk to all major attractions and good restaurants. Service was okay but not the greatest, the front desk kept getting interrupted by people then started to proceed with them. The room is okay, I wouldn’t consider it 4 star at all. The tv is small with no ability to get onto Netflix or any streaming service, and the bathroom shower is in a tub with a very small shower head. Also the head board shakes when you’re laying in bed with some moment. Also you can hear noise from hallway like it’s in your room and other rooms. This hotel has good potential but not worth 4 stars at this point.

Rooms were pretty updated and clean. Service at the front desk was not good. We chose this hotel partly because of the steam room and sauna which we thought would be a nice experience. I had to inform the staff that their steam room was broken, no intent to fix it, just put an out of order sign after I told them. Every time I’d ask the front desk to turn on the sauna they were not friendly and they’d seem annoyed that I even asked, say they would turn it on, and just never did. Not impressed with the service for the price tag. Plenty of hotels in the area…I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

This was the best of the 4 hotels I stayed at during my trip to Italy! The rooms are clean and updated with advanced technology. The bathrooms have beautiful marble flooring! The breakfast was impressive and the staff members come around to the tables asking if you want cappuccino or anything else. I've never seen anything like this in Europe! I felt so welcomed here. The front staff was also able to order me a private transfer to the airport so I didn't have to worry about getting a taxi. It's a great, hassle-free option!
Also, they allow you to have full control of the AC so your room is at your preferred temperature. I was so impressed!
The location is close to all sorts of shops and restaurants, too! I was able to buy souvenirs and eat at fantastic restaurants with a short walk.

Very strategic location! Near by the train and bus station, surrounded by affordable delicious food. The staffs are very attentive and friendly. Monica at the breakfast restaurant, Christian and Mighel at front office and many more are super helpful.
Bed is quite comfortable but the bathroom are exceptional. They provide many kinds of towels for various purposes. Lots of places to hang the towels. Love it.
Also, try to drop by to the rooftop, calm ambiance to chill with wine and have chit chat

We had a great stay in Best Western Plus Hotel Universo. It’s what you expect from a 4-star hotel. We had a smooth check-in; the reception was helpful and allowed us to transfer rooms when I requested for a room at a higher floor. Room was clean and well-lit. The linens and towels were great. The aircon in the hotel cant be switched on for cooling, but after moving cities around Italy, such is a norm anyway. We opened the windows when we needed the room to be cooler. Checkout was fast. The location is great as its a short walk away from Roma Termini. Hotel is old but it’s how we wanted our hotels in Europe.

As a Diamond Select member, I was not provided with my welcome gift on arrival. Unsure if this is because I used points to book. Nor was I offered water, thankfully there was some in the room. Was happy though that they have somewhere safe to leave luggage, and super conveniently located next to Roma Termini. Room was quiet and nicely decorated.

first let us start with the good stuff
- The location of the hotel is 4-5 min walk from Roma Termini so you have access to metro buses and train easily and once you reach Rome or want to leave it you don't need a taxi.
- the staff are friendly and helpful.
- the Breakfast was very good.
- i got a rate of 115 euro/day + 7.5 euro daily tax - if i reserved the room 1 day earlier the rate was 165 euro and through booking it was 185 euro so i was lucky.
- the room was clean
now what i didn't like :
- the room is around 2.2 X 3.5 ( between 7 to 8 m2) so the you sleep near the door and all noise will reach you if some one passed the aiel ( i was luck no noisy people were in the floor) and you can barely move in the room but the bathroom size was good .
- the hotel don't offer AC in winter and the window can open only 10 cm gap so even in winter during after noon the temperature is around 13-15 Co so the room will be hot. in the night the temperature will drop to 3-5 co so the room temperature will be good (around 20 Co). of course if there is any noise in the street it will reach you and you won't be able to sleep.
-if you need long closet you will be out of luck as the room is barely enough for half size close it.
- the bed is 90 cm X 200 cm and the electrical outlet is not suitable for universal plug as the plug will be lose and this not safe to keep it without being watchful and their was only one outlet. so during night i will use the usb outlet to charge my phone
now for the rate i paid it was matching what i got but the room is not worth more then what i paid and i stayed from 2 days so i was out from 8 am to 9 pm i would only return to change cloth and use the bathroom so i didn't care if the room is small and young single people in their 20's won't mind it either but i don't think i will repeat the experience again

We chose this hotel mainly because it is so close to the main railway station, bus station and 2 metro lines. The rooms are a good size compared to London hotels (so is my dog's kennel). Reception staff were welcoming. There are several lifts (elevators) but they are scattered around a bit rather than being in a central bank. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the breakfast. If you want a curry to go with your morning Prosecco and chicken nuggets then this is the place for you. Massive choice of dishes. I prefer to sleep with a window open so I noticed quite a lot of street noise at around 4am as the bins were collected, but shutting the window was effective. For location, service and breakfast this is an excellent hotel.

Great location near the Roma Termini rail station. Easy walk to the front door. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, nice balcony. Best breakfast spread I've ever seen at a hotel - definitely something for everyone. Very helpful staff - excellent English. Located near some delicious restaurants and close to the opera house. We found this location perfect for access to all of Rome. Going back soon!
