Stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed the rooms and great service. I was upgraded to a larger room, not sure why but did not complain. The roof top pool was very nice but it is pretty small so not too many areas to layout. The staff at the spa (Christina) were awesome! Got a massage 4 straight days and used the sauna and pool. All very clean and very relaxing. Its very safe and very close walk to all the sites but at the same time just far enough for some tranquility. Carols at the front desk was super helpful. I plan to go back to Rome in about 6 months and will stay there again!

I definitely wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel. The gentleman at the front desk and door men were lovely but all of the female employees were incredibly rude. The woman running breakfast didn’t have our information on her paperwork for the included breakfast and was quite rude about it when I asked her to check. I also received dirty looks and lack of professionalism from other women working the front desk when coming and going/during check out. The service at breakfast was different each morning- one morning they left water and constantly checked on us. The next morning I had to beg for another coffee and more water. I wouldn’t consider a buffet to be worth the 30 dollars per person Amex claims with its fine hotels. It’s a pretty basic European style breakfast (pastry, cheeses, meats, yogurts) with the addition of some eggs and bacon. Some of the items in our bathroom were used- I went to open the vanity kit for cotton swabs and it was already opened along with the lotion. It was quite late at night so it was not worth the trouble to call down for replacements when we were checking out early the next morning. Last, they did not give me my full 100 dollar Amex credit for my tab at the roof top (60 euro equated to roughly 70 USD). I liked the location- it was quiet and easy to walk places.

Overall- it’s an ok hotel for Rome, comfortable bed, has AC but inconsistent service not at the level of a 5 star hotel.Compared to other 5 star hotels I booked through Amex while in Italy (and other Amex Fine Hotels I have stayed in) this hotel does not compare or live up to expectations especially for a Hilton brand and 5 stars claim.

Unfortunately my survey link expired so I was not able to give my feedback but want to make sure other customers are aware especially if you plan to book through Amex Fine Hotel Collection.

We just stayed for a night before our cruise and the Aleph hotel is simply gorgeous. We were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and had all the amenities. The hotel is centrally located to all the iconic areas. The staff was extremely friendly and the continental breakfast was delicious with an array of options. Overall a wonderful stay.

Loved our stay at this hotel! We had a junior suite, which perfect for our family of 4. AC was good. Everything was very clean and the staff extremely friendly. Loved the rooftop pool, a must in August. It is a little away from the main attractions and piazzas, but an easy taxi ride or a 25 minute walk. I think not being surrounded by a million tourists is a benefit. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a few nights and it was a luxurious stay. The AC is generous. My family was upgraded upon arrival. The room was a Jr. Suite and it was spacious with a King sized bed and great double shower and double sink bathroom! We were greeted with welcome drinks and a nice dessert platter in the room. Walls were thick, we didn’t hear our neighbors.

While they have an outdoor pool, it’s small and we were packed a bit like sardines on a hot summer day in August. Regardless, the pool was clean. Just wished they made it longer (closes at 6 PM) or waive the fee for the spa/indoor pool. Breakfast was great, they had buffet and a la carte items. Sunny side eggs with shaved truffle was a nice touch for the buffet!

The service was awesome, everyone was so polite and friendly. I’d come back for the location, hotel service and amenities.

The hotel has a wonderful location; quiet but close to train station and an easy walk to Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.
The property is visually appealing and our room was well appointed. We did not use the pool area as it looked crowded with children (which is understandable for hot afternoons). We appreciated the fitness area, but found the fee for the sauna a bit excessive for a property of this caliber. We have stayed in other luxury brands in Europe where sauna is inclusive.
The daily breakfast was very good; a rotating variety of main options each day that were well prepared and fresh. Additional pastries and sides were great as well.
What really stood out to us was the service, in both positive and negative ways. We experienced really wonderful service from the attentive and hardworking staff in the breakfast area, but unfortunately lackluster doormen service, which was some days non existent.

What an incredible place! The whole team is so welcoming, they truly make you feel at home, and it works perfectly. The location is ideal, the breakfast and food are delicious. It’s definitely the place to stay when visiting the Eternal City. Thank you to the Aleph team!

Beautiful place with a roof top pool with amazing staff that truly cares about their guest experience. Sergio took care of us and made sure we taken care of from the moment we arrived until we left. His service made our experience exceptional and we’ll make sure we definitely return. Well done, we’ll be back to come here on our next trip to Italy

The hotel is situated on a quiet street in a fantastic location. We spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable, and the modern facilities offer plenty of great amenities.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding team. From the start, Mariateresa was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and arranging airport pickup before we even arrived. Each morning, being welcomed by Antonella at breakfast felt like seeing family. Simone was always available at the front desk whenever we needed assistance. Every staff member went above and beyond—not for tips, but because they genuinely care about their guests.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for taking such wonderful care of us. This hotel truly feels like a home away from home.

We stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago with the family, drawn by its central location in the heart of Rome and the promise of a high-end experience. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet our expectations especially considering the crazy price paid.

The hotel certainly has great potential the common areas are spacious, well-designed, and elegant, but they completely lack atmosphere and service. The central bar in the lobby, for example, was always empty and without staff, and the restaurant felt lifeless when we showed up.

We encountered several issues in the room, including a TV that didn’t work and a malfunctioning air conditioning system. Despite multiple requests for assistance, we were met with curt and unhelpful responses, claiming the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. However my wife checked online and found that rooms were still AVAILABLE a frustrating and unprofessional attitude for a property that presents itself as five-star.
We waited at the (nonexistent) concierge desk for over 10 minutes to get information about the Vatican Museums tour. The young women working there were overwhelmed, handling too many arriving guests.
Breakfast service was also disappointing the waitstaff appeared overwhelmed, likely due to understaffing, resulting in a disorganized and inattentive experience. We had the same impression at the pool area where a single staff member was doing everything clearing towels, making cocktails and serving food. This kind of operation is clearly not sustainable, especially during peak season.

Overall I cannot recommend this hotel during high season. It’s a place with potential, but at present, it’s neither prepared nor equipped to deliver the level of service it promises and certainly not at the rates it charges. A real shame.
