I’m a little sorry to tell you about this Hotel as it was so lovely it could easily become booked out all the time and then I won’t be able to get a night when I need it. Here goes: Perfect location (quite St, super close to major sites and restaurants/bars), lovely, genuine staff, clean, soft, large beds with thick, soft sheets and fluffy, big, soft towels, wonderful toiletries and soaps by Aqua Di Parma in small bottles the way I like. Carefully thought out touches like pillow scent you can administer and a lovely green almond scent through the public areas. Our room was a Junior Suite and faced the quintessential Roman street, lovely view, light filled when you want, fresh air, and super quite double glazed operable windows. Coffee at breakfast was pretty good, pastries fresh, conserves and jams of high quality, fresh fruit was a little tired and old though. Decor was modern Roman and felt like we had a classy new designer apartment. I will come back and stay as soon as possible, I love it here. P.S. there is a Cigar Bar that serves Cuba’s finest and a classy restaurant both of which I hadn’t had time to try.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife visiting Rome from the United States. Very nice hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal (included due to Hilton status). Their workout facility was very robust - I never wound up using it due to how much walking we did every day. This hotel is off a quiet one lane road and not in the very busy center. This means walking to most of the primary sights in Rome (Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican, etc) required about a 20 minute walk. However, this hotel is right next Villa Borghese which was great to walk around and enjoy! There is a metro stop close by if you do not wish to walk to most of the sights. The concierge helped us plan a day trip to Tivoli which was one of the best moments of the entire trip. Can't speak on the Spa, rooftop bar, or rooftop pool as we didn't use the first and the second 2 were closed due to the cold/season.

Aleph Rome exceeded my expectations on every level. The location is perfect - close to the subway and bus lines. Every single person I interacted with was professional, warm and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent. The room was comfortable. I actually loved my room. It faced the "courtyard" which made it very quiet and cave like. I slept better than I had in 30 years.

Breakfast was excellent! Service in the restaurant was excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. What a find in Rome! Absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. I’ll start with the negatives and then give the positives. The entry way is small and frequented by smokers, almost ensuring you will be greeted by smoke every time you arrive. They occasionally leave the doors open which lets the lobby fill with the smell of cigarettes. I also don’t know why but there was this unbearable nail polish smell in the lobby and occasionally the elevator.

When we went to our room the first time the key didn’t work so I had to go back down to get it to work. There was no room upgrade as a gold member. The upgrade isn’t guaranteed though so this is just a neutral point. The view from the room was a courtyard and the walls of the building. The room and bathroom were small, no bigger than 3 star hotels we had stayed at earlier in the stay. The AC didn’t work so the room often got quite stuffy.

The door also makes a very loud buzzing sound whenever someone opens it and the lights will sometimes turn on automatically. This can be quite annoying if there are two guests and one enters while the other is trying to sleep. I often go running in the morning while my girlfriend is still sleeping. One time when I entered the lights suddenly all turned on, cutting her short sleep.

We got to experience the rooftop pool. It is pretty small and the water quite cold. The view from the rooftop isn’t quite what you would expect. There is also a poolside menu. We were looking forward to getting some drinks but there was no one to order from during our 60 minutes at the pool.

The front desk workers are all extremely polite. They try to help when they can. We also got to use the spa for free as Gold members. This was a great perk and we both really enjoyed it. The TV in our room had Google Chromecast which let us watch streaming services that we weren’t able to watch at our other hotel stays.

As others have said in their reviews, the breakfast buffet is quite nice. This was another great perk for booking as a Gold member. The location is pretty good. We could access the Spanish steps, trevi fountain and colosseum all fairly easily. The first two on foot, and third by subway. If coming by taxi, keep in mind there isn’t really a place for taxis to stop in front of the hotel, which perhaps could be a bit of a surprise for a five star hotel. When we got picked up on our final day, we had to hurry our bags into the taxi with other cars honking behind. Not an ideal, but still fitting final impression as we left the hotel.

In the end, I would think there could be better hotels to be found in Rome. If you book this hotel not expecting a five star experience it can help manage expectations. There were still several positives and with a better lobby smell, better room view, working AC, and attentive poolside bar staff I could definitely see others having a pretty good stay here.

Extraordinary service and very attentive staff. Everyone is so nice and go out of their way to get to know you and make your stay special. I was shocked they would greet you by name when you walk out the door.

Accommodations are comfy and modern. No exceptional views, but rooms have good AC and nice beds.

1930s lounge was excellent for breakfast each day.

Location was okay, around all the other hotels. It’s kinda a tourist hot spot, but I didn’t take a cab the whole time and just walked Vatican, Forum, Colosseo and trastevere. It’s just however much walking you’re prepared to do.

What a fabulous stay my wife and I had there recently. Spent a total of 9 nights there and was impressed every single day. The best part was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay unforgettable. Buffet breakfast was perfect and the location could not have been better, close to metro and bus stops. Highly recommend this hotel!
Booked into a junior suite and there was more than enough room for both of us. Plus, double sinks in the bathroom were helpful

Almost everything was great. Upon check in, the staff welcomed us and took care of everything. They walked us to our room and explained the various perks of the room. The room was comfortable and clean; however, it was facing an alley where trash was stored. It seemed every night from 2130-0100 the trash was being collected...very loud and made it hard to sleep during those hours. The breakfast buffet was great with a vast variety of food items. One of our days eating breakfast the scrambled eggs were extremely soupy and no one was eating them. Room service was also excellent. We ordered lasagna, pasta Bolognese and chicken and fries. All was great. Overall, a great experience with a few minor issues that can be overlooked for what we received.

My family and I just recently returned form our trip to Italy where we stayed at the Aleph in Rome. The service at this hotel is amazing! Everyone treated us so nicely and made sure we had everything we needed. I wish I could name everyone personally because truly everyone we encountered was great! We were traveling with my two kids as well and the staff was always so sweet with them! Even before our arrival, the staff helped us with our stroller rental needs.

The rooms are very nice and clean and the turn down service is fantastic!

The location of the hotel is also very nice because you are walking distance to the city center but it is quiet at night.

Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous. In terms of amenities, the hotel has more of a boutique style. The gym and the spa (which has a hammam!) are small but of exceptional quality. The breakfast can get a bit crowded and the quality can be improved. The rooftop pool was not open during our stay.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I checked in, I encountered nothing but courtesy and accommodation from the staff. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I was delighted to receive an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. The buffet, though not extensive, impressed me with its high quality. For those who, like me, value quality over quantity, it is sure to satisfy any craving. Having stayed also at the Waldorf Astoria Cavalieri, I can confidently say I prefer this hotel, especially given its fantastic location.

Thanks for the amazing hospitality!
