Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, an IHG Hotel

I was disappointed with the hotel. There are much better hotels in Bangkok for half the price. Especially the (western) breakfast is very disappointing - the selection is small with no plant based options - they didnt even have soy milk or nuts. The only bread they have is toast and except butter and jam, there’s nothing to eat it with. No cheese, no honey etc. When we asked the waiter, if they could make us French toast, they refused, even though it’s just egg with toast and they clearly had all the ingredients. The pancakes tasted artificial - they were clearly not made from scratch. The juice was cheap store bought. I expect more from a hotel that costs more than the average 5-star-place in Bangkok.
Also they did not seem to care about sustainability at all. No drinking water tap to refill bottles, they changed the towels every day, even though we left them hanging. The breakfast room was freezing cold, even though I was wearing two sweatshirts.
It could also be a bit cleaner. The towels didn’t smell nice and were falling apart.

The positive things: the pool was really great with a spectacular view and the staff was generally very friendly and even let us check out late.

All in all they need to update their concept and/or their price.
