Hotel Blue Ottoman

Lovely hotel has got everything you need nice big room ..big bathroom with hot water bidet...smells very clean...and i have a room with a view...i m Lucky to have found the best place yet...i come many years here in istanbul...love it all

This charming hotel truly exceeded our expectations . Although we only stayed for one night (we didn't have more time), we can confidently say that this hotel is definitely worth a visit. The location couldn't be better – situated right in the center, in a traditional neighborhood, allowing you to visit all the sights on foot. Moreover, it's located right next to the stunning Blue Mosque, offering a breathtaking view in the evening. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Our hotel room was beautiful and clean. And the icing on the cake was the hotel breakfast served on the rooftop, with a stunning view of the entire Istanbul. We can really recommend this hotel

My parents stayed at this hotel in February, and I got in touch with the hotel's Staff to ask them a service...to figure out for me a little surprise for my father who was having his birthday during the stay. The person from the staff was really kind and helpful, really really cool and found out and organized for me a little surprise to my father (he or she found or bought some chocolate) for my father ! And I was really happy about this kind gesture ! Thank you a lot !

Everything was great about the place the location, room facilities, cleaning and most of all the staff that runs this place. Everyone is warm and welcoming and don't feel like a stranger. Highly recommended if you are visiting Istanbul!

This is a gem of a hotel right in the heart of the oldest part of Istambul. very traditional. All the hotel staff where very helpful. I would say the best and I have traveled the world. We wanted to explore Turkey and they not only did that but helped us will flights, a hotel, Dropped us off at the main airport and had us meet in Cappadocia, Arragnged a great guide Mr Ali, Returned us to Istambul to stay and the same hotel there, Wonderful John

Walking distance from Cemberlitis tram stop and to Sultanhamet Square. I was upgraded to a triple room even though I booked a double. Good choice of tv channels and Turkish music. No breakfast included in my option but you are facing a shop just outside where you can buy everything cheap. They also organize tours but there are lots of tour companies all around. I took the airport metro to Veznicilar then followed the tram line to Cemberlitis to get here. Grand Bazaar right at tram stop. Very central location. Very narrow stairs and tripping hazard with room doors right on staircase but it is a very tight design. Rooms are quite nice though.

Blue Ottoman hotel located next to the blue mosque and roughly 200 metres from Aya Sofia. The location is amazing so is the cleanliness of the rooms. Shefkia is the night receptionist he is amazing guy he directed to all the tourists attractions. The hotel is small and very cosy. All the staff members are friendly and they make you feel welcome. The views from the breakfast lounge is just out of this world. I will be definitely be coming back

We stayed at this hotel for five days.

The location was excellent, the employees were very polite, welcoming, helpful & they spoke good English and Russian. The rooms were clean and the breakfast in the roof top was nice, it had a very beautiful view and the food was good.

The drawbacks were that our room key lock had some problems so we could not lock the door but nothing was stolen from our room, and they fixed it. Also one day, I tried to take a shower in the morning and there was no hot water for like 45 minutes, but these things are minor and the overall stay was very pleasant.

They changed the bedsheets and towels regularly, and whenever we asked for extra towels, shampoo and shower gel they immediately gave us.

The room was a little small and it came with a hair dryer and a kettle. They also provided one big bottle of water with the room. The room came with a shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, towels but no conditioner or tissue box.

There is no safe lock box. There is a school in front of the hotel but it was not noisy. In fact, the school had a beautiful music when the classes finishes instead of a bell which was very beautiful and we were actually looking forward when the class finishes to hear this beautiful music.

Overall, we were happy and I will come back again to this hotel next time I will visit Istanbul.
