Karakoy Aparts Hotel - Special Category

The room is not clean and there was a spider, I had a friend with me and showed friend's passport he even didn't take it he ignored. If you have money and you want to feel embarrassed ashamed with your money then here is best place to go. Their way of talking is not nice at all, after I booked and paid then I learnt that they are cleaning rooms each 2 days. What the hellll! Not recommended at all.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been . The bed was uncomfortable and blanket was sleeping bad

Dust everywhere, no toilet paper, no water (to drink) we stay just 2 nights. The hotel is very close to Galata bridge and tram T1.

it looked nice on the photos and close to the Galata bridge so we chose this place for our last 3 days of our trip.

We stayed in the suite but when we got there floor was disgusting (it has not been cleaned at all!!, thick dust under the bed!!!), almost no toilet paper (one almost gone, another very skinny roll), no water (they usually have some where they have electric kettle). we had to ask for toilet paper and water after we checked in. also they only have one outlet to plug our electronics to be charged so we had to unplug some lamps to charge phones and laptops. the divider shelf (lower part) is broken and shelf just hanging off. Walls had some nasty stains that looked like some body fluids!! also you do get a lot of noise from the street so if you are looking for quiet place this will not be it. there is a kitchen, they only have utensils, pots and pans, glasses, cups, but no plates, only one fork so we had to ask for another fork and plates. everything you would think the room should have we had to ask for it. we finally got the floor cleaned on the second day but no walls or others.

we contacted the manager but his excuse was that "it's a historic building so some dusts do happen." please see the photos attached.... it's not due to that, just lack of cleaning!

we have stayed in another place in Cihangir and it was so much nicer, we paid a lot more for this place so we are kicking ourselves for not going back to the same place :( it's not acceptable that they charge so much and have us stay in the filth!!!
