Kordon Hotel Cankaya

Great hotel , clean big bedroom!
The bathroom could possibly win an award for being the most awkward to us as it’s tiny and the door swings in, you kinda have to be a ballerina and hop over the toilet to close the door behind you in order to get to the shower!
Unfortunately the roof terrace and pool were out of action at the time of our stay, so check before you go. Breakfast was very Turkish - not much international/ continental option.
Staff were ace!

The hotel's location is great, and the staff are friendly. I just want to mention two drawbacks. First, the breakfast options were very limited. Second, the pool closes at 6 PM. If you plan to explore the city and then use the pool afterward, you won't have enough time. If these aren't major issues for you, I definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in good condition. We stayed here a few days. The room was a little small but the beds were comfortable. The offered breakfast is okay but has a lack of different choices. I would recommend it for a short stay in Izmir.

The rooms were very nice, and I loved the location. A short walk to the shore which has a very nice park for walking and many places to eat. And a short walk in the other direction has a large park with great paths for walking.
The Turkish breakfast was great.
The only complaint was the dinner which was included in the group tour. Great soup and dessert, but the main course was very unremarkable. We chose to go out for dinner instead of having the dinner provided.

Before I arrived at the hotel, when I saw it on the website, it was rated like a 4+ hotel but when I arrived it was very late it was midnight and the room service. The staff were really nice to my family and to me, they had the quickest perfect service you would ever find. I would really recommend you guys to go there enjoy your vacation there. Actually, they have the best food you could ever taste , it located actually in a good place in the city also they have two pools one of them is on the roof, which was one of the best pools I've ever went to. Also, they have a pool with a spa and it was really cool . They offer the best service he would ever find and I really recommend you guys to go there and spend your time and it's fabulous. It's amazing thank you the staff that were really amazing .

Wonderful location just a stroll away from the promenade. You can walk here at night without any fear.
One of better hotels in area with beatiful pool. Breakfast better than most other hotels. Will surely visit again if I am lucky enough to travel to Turkey again.
