Stayed here during a long emirates layover. Check in was quick and simple. Room is very basic, dated, but clean. Odd location for outlets (not near the night stand) . Dinner was just OK, but free. Really convenient that there was a taxi service right outside that offers private tours of the city. Ali took me around to a handful of sites, stopped so I could get out and take photos, took me through the Dubai Mall and to the fountain show near the mall. About 2 hours to get a quick look around the city for a good price (find him on WhatsApp +971 556868824). Nice use of time for an extended layover.

Got a chance to visit the hotel via the Emirates airlines due to the flight being rescheduled. Great choice to get a quick sleep near airport and definitely good breakfast options. You also get a checkout call, regular small coach to Airport service. Was quiet when I was around may because it was for a short duration but overall is a good place for short stay. I especially loved the bathroom vibes.

This is a hotel built and run solely for Emirates layovers, and it is damaging the Emirates brand. I perceived Emirates airline to be 9/10 before, but they are closer to to a 6/10 now.
The rooms are extremely basic (read: cost cut). The doors either have huge gaps or are paper thin. You WILL be awoken every time people walk by outside, more so if they talk at even soft volumes.
The staff are not very fluent in English, and generally aren't particularly keen to help. They will lie to avoid some tiny inconvenience.
The location is only good for being close to the airport by car - it is otherwise pretty much in middle of nowhere in a minor seemingly industry zone. You'll need a cab to go anywhere.
The food was good for meeting macronutrient needs, but not much more. On the bright side, the free buffet pretty much runs all the time. Overall the food situation was satisfactory, it did not contribute to the low scores I'm giving.
I was looking forward to a layover as Emirates' websites show much nicer hotels, not this bunker. Emirates also broadly advertises itself to be equivalent to Singapore Airlines, which has genuinely great layover hotels, further setting expectations.
Further note: Google implies you can book this hotel through the website, but that actually redirects you to Copthorne Hotel Dubai, which is NOT this Copthorne Airport Hotel. A lot of the reviews and photos posted to review this hotel were actually for the other hotel.

Great shuttle bus service to and from airport, reception staff is very professional, restaurant staff should get a few tips from them, in my opinion they are way to serious, some of them have zero customer/guest skills. Food&beverages was delicious. Nice pool area. Great above and beyond service from Jenny and Honey " i'm home" these 2 ladies were amazing. Stay was short but sweet, thank you to all at the hotel.

Had a 12 hour layover in Dubai and was given a complimentary stay at Copthorne Hotel in Dubai with free back and forth transportation. Smooth check in/out and free food are offered, in-room food is available as well but for an out of pocket cost. Couldn't have asked for better treatment, Emirates truly cares for its passengers, ensures comfort and provides the highest level of care and services possible. Thank you EMIRATES...

I stayed here for a night. The rooms are clean and decent.
The breakfast in the morning was also pretty good.
They run a shuttle almost every 10 mins which makes it very convenient.

Had a night at the copthorne Hotel courtesy of Emirates airline as the transfer on our flights was 17 hour. Nice clean room with nice view overlooking the pool and outside bar. Outside play area for kids and a nice swimming pool. Buffet food was good with a good choice of local and international food. Good fresh fruits. Check in and out was very friendly and efficient.

This seems to be for the exclusive use of Emirates Air for their long layover Dubai Connect program. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly, efficient and kind.
Our room had a broken shower head and the water pressure wasn't strong not the water hot but I'll forgive that.
The best part about the hotel is the fantastic dining room. Every meal has offerings for various different cultures. Asian, Indian, American etc, everything is fresh and delicious and the warming plates well maintained and refilled.
The coffee machines are excellent with grinders for each cup, can't go wrong!
Thank you to the two dining room manager's for their excellent work!
