Overall the hotel was great. The reason i took off a star was because it was very hot the 2 nights we stayed here and the air-conditioning in the room never took the rooms below 24-25C. Was difficult to sleep. As an American who is used to hotel breakfasts that are basically just some leftover bagels, the food here was absolutely amazing, and honestly i would gladly pay to have the breakfast again. also it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest u-bahn to go to city center, so even though the area is not particularly interesting, it's easy to get to wherever you need.

Poorly managed. I made the reservation on IHG website for a family vacation. A few days before my stay I made changes to length of stay and # of rooms. This hotel's reservation system never updated with the changes. The manager still tried to charge a rate higher than the original reservation. Beware breakfast is not included. Not very clear on IHG website. Food quality is not good for the cost.
The fitness is poorly equipped and the sauna is only available from 17:00-22:00?? People don't sauna in the morning. The guest comes last at this Holiday Inn!🤬

Stayed here for 4 nights in September 2024.
The good:
- Excellent location
- The suite we were in was well laid out and spacious, the balcony was handy for drying clothes.
- The continental breakfast was really great, huge selection of foods and very tasty.
The bad:
- The shower would not drain properly and would be nearly flooding after just a few mins of the water being on. Told reception about this and they said they’d have someone check it out. Nothing came of that.
- The fridge might as well have not existed, the coldest it would get was about 15deg C , making the leftovers stored there inedible and the drinks would never get cold.
- The wifi speeds were atrocious and always dropped out.

The hotel is nice, but not overly nice. The rooms were adequate. The towels were terrible; there were no toiletries. The breakfast was ok. The coffee machine was very good.

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel.
First, I had booked a room with a king sized bed. Upon my arrival at 2 am, I was given a room with two twin beds joined together, without even a topper or brackets to hold them together. The receptionist gave me another room, but it was the same, and he did not know.
The hotel did not have ANY rooms with king sized bed left that night. Waisted over half an hour going back and fourth to the reception with my stuff that night while very tired. The next morning, the hotel tried to claim that had booked a room a preference for a king bed and argued with me. I had no time because of appointment , so I had to come back later that day to show proof.
Secondly, one cannot change the temperatures in the rooms: mine were set at 24 degrees: quite uncomfortable in warm weather, especially to sleep.
Other than that, the room were clean and the personnel as accommodating as they could after my troubles
I got an late checkout for my troubles.

Great hotel, lovely staff that are very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and tidy. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. The S-bahn and U-bahn station is 5 minutes walk, passing a couple of supermarkets and a coffee shop. Will definitely be back to stay here on our next trip to Munich.

A very well located IHG hotel. The check-in was late at night about 2.30am, no problem. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and immaculate. The hotel also has a bar and a garage. Unfortunately, the garage does not have the widest parking spaces, but it is sufficient. Unfortunately, the parking garage has to be paid for separately. What I found absolutely not ok is the additional charge at checkout for an extra person. The lady at reception also said this very rudely and seemed demotivated and annoyed. The gentleman the night before also saw my companion and said nothing about it. People, it's 2024, you need the room and one more person is not important. I absolutely don't understand why one person costs extra. Especially if you're still a Platinum Member. Unfortunately quite old-fashioned and a red flag for the next time.

Holliday Inn offers good breakfast - fresh fruit, salad and cheese options, very delicious tea.
The gentlemen at the front desk were helpful, the lady of Asian descent left an impression of real professional. The lady during breakfast was also very professional.
Nevertheless the housekeepers may knock heavy on your door before 10AM, when youl'll open - no smile / whatever language, not clear whats the issue.
Have patience if you need an electronic invoice after your stay - they wont respond to your email, if called - Ms Katharina was explaining that she cannot give me an invoice because the reservation has been done via Expedia, and she cannot send me an electronic copy because there is a commission on it. After explaining that you have a paper invoice - tone changes, she starts saying that it is against the German law to share an invoice with me because my colleague made a reservation for me. Eventually she agreed to send, wrote down my email and did not share. Later she did not pick up the phone, more later - she would just drop it. After calling to the main customer service and some repetitive calls to the hotel - the award in the form of invoice has been achieved.
Overall - good place to stay for business travel, just dont relax too much:)

Hi everyone, I will tell you my story. This hotel is one of the worst hotels in Munich. Really, I was stuck from the beginning. My first impression was so bad. I cannot believe it is called a hotel. It should be called something else, maybe a zoo. From the reception guy to the room service , the call center, the room itself, everything is bad. There is nothing good I can say about it. I didn’t find anything good. So, my message from this stage of the Google map service is: I would like to say to everyone, if you don’t have a chance in German to sleep or you didn’t find any hotel , please sleep in the street. It's better for you to choose over this hotel. Best regards.

The worst stay I have ever experienced! On the second day of check out, I received a fine of 200 euros from the hotel. They claimed that cigarettes were found in my hotel. I have never smoked, and I found something that doesn't belong to me in the photos provided by the hotel,This means that the photo is not my room, or that the hotel made a mistake in my room. I have been greatly offended, and I will stick to my claim and investigate this incident.
