My stay there was short but very enjoyable.
I slept well. They’ve got nice beds with all that goes alongside it. I didn’t realise when it was morning and fell like sleeping more.
The receptionists were very receptive and professional, they also help and are available to client anytime without grievances.

The hotel is not very clean. The toilet seat clearly needs more thorough cleaning. It is difficult to get into the shower. Otherwise, the room is ok, good size. Keep in mind that there is a construction site opposite and it is already noisy at 7:00.

We had a decent experience in our stay in Hotel Orly in Munich. Room was spacious, but was very dimly lit. The locality is good. Its around 300 m from the Schlörstraße bus stop but there's no direct connectivity from there to the city center or the central station. You either need to hop over to Donnersbergerstraße
or Donnersbergerbrücke for futher connectivity through S-bahn/U-bahn/trams. But overall, the prices for their rooms justify the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a budget and in peace in Munich for few days.

Our non smoking room was clean but the curtains smelt badly of cigarette smoke, polluting the entire room for the 3 nights were there, (no other rooms were available) even the empty planter boxes on the outside window ledges had cigarette butts and some of the staff and other guests chose to smoke outside our ground floor windows, our double bed was 2 singles pushed together with separate sheets and doona, not really bad but unexpected and we both slept very well.
Most of the staff were very friendly and the ones that weren’t I’m putting down to my inability to speak German.
The hydronic radiator was fantastic allowing me to dry washed clothes overnight. The plumbing must be very old with a 4-5 min wait for hot water and lots of temperature fluctuations during a shower.
There was a complementary bottle of water when we arrived but was not replaced on the second or third day, same with the soap and shampoo.
It was a short walk to a train or tram and both were easy to navigate and a short walk to a supermarket and nice restaurants, (I can highly recommend the Italian restaurant Il Galeone a short walk away)

The hotel is well positioned, with an amazing restaurant (PKorn restaurant & steaks - it is a must). Rooms wise, we have booked a triple room which was in fact a double room with an extra extensible armchair which was relatively small (cannot be compared with an actual single person bed). There was little space for 3 people as we had an extra extensible armchair left in our room randomly, which made it seem even smaller than it was. We also had a toilet pipe issue and every time you’d run the water, the floor would be flooded. The staff was nice and helpful, but the room was quite disappointing for the price.

The hotel is located in a good area, close to supermarket and some restaurants nearby. The room was nice, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent, many things to choose from. Unfortunately, there is a noisy construction site in this period, right near the hotel. The hotel has private parking for a fee, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, since you can find cheaper public parking close.

We stayed at New Orly Hotel for two nights and it was perfect for our needs. 10 mins walk max to two separate train stations and lots of cute little cafes close by as well. Easy to get to Oktoberfest for those visiting for that, and the rooms have everything you need and very comfortable beds.
Most of all, the service was fabulous. I had an unfortunate incident of leaving my passport and wallet in the taxi we caught to the airport and I didn’t realise until I had landed in Paris. The hotel looked through the room for me, and then called me back when the taxi driver (miraculously) returned my things to the hotel. They were then very helpful in working out how to get my items sent asap to me and I had them back within 24 hours. Genuinely such wonderful service, I can’t thank them enough, and would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Munich!
