My recent dining experience at Agave was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel welcomed and special. Chef Martin's culinary artistry shines through every dish – each course was not only delicious but beautifully presented, showcasing authentic flavors with a modern twist that we truly enjoyed. Our server, Anthony, went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed. The combination of amazing food and outstanding service made this an unforgettable dining experience. Agave is a must-visit, and we can’t wait to return!

Our first night at the Excellence El Carmen we ventured into the Agave restaurant. My wife and I had a table outside overlooking the resort. The food was outstanding, courtesy of Chef Alvin. And the service was top-notch. Our waiter Anthony was attentive, polite, and all-around a great guy. Would highly recommend!

Best resort I have ever been to! I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and none have ever lived up to my expectations after staying at Excellence. Its name lives up to the meaning.
All staff were very attentive, polite and went above and beyond to please us. The food and drinks were great. We had a swim up suite that was definitely worth it. My husband and I had an amazing 8 days.

Everything about our honeymoon was amazing! As frequent cruisers, we decided to go on a limb and stay at a resort. We are so happy with our experience! Every place here had the best service. We visited the Sports Bar a lot and were always taken good care of by Alvin & Damaris (and the others too!) They made sure we had what we needed & kept our drinks full, which is why we stopped in every evening.
Had a wonderful beach dinner with my husband, thanks to Joan & Adelso. Service was amazing, food was incredible, and we had the best time. Thank you guys for serving us and making us feel special! Wish we could experience this every night!
We also booked two massages and it was the most amazing spa experience. The ladies went above and beyond and every single one of them was so nice. My husband and I had the best honeymoon and so thankful we picked to stay here. We will definitely be back!

Miguel was the best server ever! We are here for our honeymoon and it was such a lovely experience! Our best meal of the week with phenomenal food at Oregano with server Miguel!
We also had the romantic dinner next to the beach and Joan was our server and it was amazing! The service was incredible and the food was to die for!! Plus the view 🥰🥰 such an amazing dinner to celebrate our marriage!

The Grill is amazing! It became our favorite for lunch, with the best service! Loren is such a gracious hostess. She is always warm and welcoming, making sure to get us to our favorite table each time. We love our waiter Pedro! He is attentive and friendly, always serving with a smile. The food is delicious and the team makes the experience the best!

The El Carmen excellence was a great time. Very good value for the for the cost. The excellence club seems well worth the extra cost.
No complaints except the food was good not great.
Hibachi was outstanding, definitely get a reservation. Our cook Ramon was funny and fun to be around. Randy the server, was very nice and on top of everything as well.
Edit: I would feel upset if I didn't mention how absolutely amazing and friendly all the staff were. The food service, cleaning staff, those running the activities all were amazing. Highly recommend any activity that Jonile "Johnny Walker" is running, his energy is off the charts and he is absolutely hilarious.

The Excellence El Carmen truly lived up to its name. From check in at the Excellence Club with Ana, who was so attentive and ready to make our 8 night vacation the best. Eloy from the Excellence Club Lounge was the best bartender!! His añejo margaritas were the absolute best. The entertainment team led by Doris with “Johnny Walker”, Deborah and Brenda were phenomenal. Brenda would always make sure to check in on me and remind me of events combing up. Helping to get my husband on the dance floor. The entire staff was so kind, welcoming and we let always so happy to help and make our stay amazing. It’s a beautiful modern resort with great amenities.
