After having to reschedule my trip due to a typhoon, I found the only hotel I could find that was the same price as the one I had seen two months ago, priced between 1,000 and 1,500. The good thing is that it's a Marriott brand, so the overall price is reasonable, and the basics are still up to par. However,
The hotel isn't just dated; it's ancient! The gardens are negligible, there's only a small pool, and the beach is also quite crowded. Hotel lovers should choose carefully! The white dishes were terrible; they were simply unpalatable! The buffet, to me, was just a fruit buffet!
The staff were outstanding throughout — friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. We arrived very late due to delayed flights, but even in the early hours, the team was welcoming and attentive, which really made a difference.
The food was good overall, although the cocktails didn’t quite hit the mark. The real highlight was the breakfast — easily one of the most impressive hotel buffets I’ve come across. There was a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options that catered to all tastes.
The only downside was the parking, which is located up a fairly steep hill. This made it a little awkward with suitcases, though it’s worth noting that the parking area was secure.
All in all, a great stay — I’d happily return.
The balcony offered a perfect spot to enjoy sunrise or relax in the evening with the sound of the waves in the background. The view alone adds so much value to the stay — peaceful, relaxing, and picture-perfect.
If you’re booking a stay here, I highly recommend choosing a sea view room — it’s 100% worth it.
I stayed for just one night while en route to the airport and specifically asked for a quiet room, as I needed to rest until 2:30 a.m. Instead, I was given an “upgrade” to a second-floor room overlooking the fountain and restaurant area. While the view may be appealing to some, it was not suitable for my needs. Loud music played until 11:00 p.m., and guests were talking and laughing near my window as late as 12:40 a.m.
After 11:30 p.m., I called the front desk twice to request assistance in quieting the noise beneath my balcony, but nothing changed. The experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing—so much so that even a full refund wouldn’t fully make up for the inconvenience.
If you're seeking a peaceful, restful stay, I would recommend avoiding this location. I’ve never encountered such issues at InterContinental, Hyatt, or Hilton properties of similar caliber.
Suggestions for Management:
1. Please take guest requests seriously, especially when it comes to room preferences and quiet accommodations.
2. Establish and enforce clear policies to limit noise on restaurant/fountain patios during nighttime hours.
3. Encourage guests seeking late-night socializing to visit the many nearby bars rather than using hotel common areas.
