We have just spent a week at the KaiSol Romance Hotel in Sahl Hasheesh and our feedback could not be more positive. The hotel itself is beautiful and despite being at full capacity, did not seem overly busy - we didn't have any difficulty getting sunbeds on the beach or seats at mealtimes.

The room was immaculate and cleaned and remade daily by Atallah, who couldn't do enough to help us. We tipped small amounts every day and came back to different towel sculptures and a restocked fridge without fail.

The bar and pool staff are also very attentive, along with the waiting staff and chefs who provide an enormous variety of amazing food for breakfast, lunch, tea and "midnight snacks". We are vegetarian and there were a number of options available at the buffet along with the hotel restaurants (Shaher's pasta bar became a firm favourite - pasta made with whatever ingredients you like and cooked in front of you). There is live music inside and outside in the evenings and a different theme at the buffet every night. Ahmed at the pool bar and Ramadan the lifeguard were always on hand offering drinks and fresh hotel towels, and always a friendly greeting.

The hotel is right on the beach and we were offered a number of services on our first day, although none of the people were pushy. We spoke to Mido who booked us at the hotel spa for a couples' treatment - this cost extra but was a very good deal for a great session with massages for which you'd pay at least double for the same session in the UK. Petit and Mohammed ran the session and were very good.

The beach itself is clean and sandy and offers great swimming opportunities with tropical fish swimming around right underneath you (the far left and right hand sides seemed to be the best spots). The water was warm in October and there is a lifeguard stand front and center with a watchful eye being kept on swimmers. Tamer and Faher at the beach bar didn't stop and kept us topped up with drinks as well as bottled water. I was apprehensive about leaving bags with phones and wallets on the beach but needn't have worried - the staff are constantly around the beach and everyone else there were hotel guests.

There are shops nearby for any extras you want (although you certainly won't need any!) and some beautiful buildings which whilst clearly not old or historic, are sympathetic to the culture and history of the town.

Svetlana and Dasha at customer services were very helpful, booking the honeymoon package and recommending local sights and a fantastic bakery two minutes walk from the hotel.

This was our first experience of Egypt and whilst Sahl Hasheesh is quiet and well away from any urban centres, if you want luxury, relaxation and to have amazing food and service this hotel is the place to stay. I learned some basic Arabic before staying and the staff appeared to appreciate the effort, even helping with some extra words and phrases. There is no need to do this however as all the staff speak English with the customer services/front of house staff speaking the most, making things very simple.

We had read up on the tipping culture prior to travelling and made sure we tipped small amounts frequently, making use of the hotel cash machine which worked well with a Revolut card. That said, none of the staff asked for tips and they politely accepted them. The amount we spent on tips was relatively little and it helps the staff make your stay even more special.

We have just stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The reception staff were wonderful, and they greeted us with ‘welcome home’ which I thought was a lovely touch.

Our room was incredible. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite (1712) with a wonderful room attendant, Ibrahim who greeted us every morning with a happy smile and kind words - he really did an amazing job.

The selection of food was fantastic, with so much to choose from in the buffet restaurant as well as the 5 restaurants on offer for evening food.

A special thank you to the life guard, Hakim, who made our trips to the pool very relaxing and friendly, always up for a quick chat which makes you feel right at home.
The waiters we had, in particular George and Karim learned who you were from the get go, always an effort to say hello to you with a friendly smile and also remembered your drinks order from your first meeting, so after that you didn’t even have to ask for your drink as it was always brought over to you.
One waiter in the seafood restaurant, Reefs and Shells, Ellyatb, gave us exceptional service, we have never experienced a waiter quite like him. He was approachable, very funny and his attention to detail was second to none.

The facilities were beautiful. We enjoyed the spa, twice and had a couples massage. The beach was beautiful.

The only slight critique is that you will have people coming up to you trying to sell experiences, but even then they were very polite and if you said no they always told you to have a good day with a smile.

It was the perfect honeymoon for us. The service was amazing. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wanted to visit Egypt.

This hotel is great for a real vacation, with a good balance of peace and quiet, and fun evening programs. While the beautiful beach is definitely a highlight, what truly makes this place special is the amazing staff.

The housekeeping team (big thanks to Hassan and Sayed) keeps everything well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The beach and the restaurant staff are truly fantastic (too many to name, but all wonderful)!
The reception team is friendly and ready to help with anything you need. Ibrahim was there for us on the first and last days, always finding a quick solution and a way to pleasantly surprise us.

It was the first time we were in this hotel. The beach, sea and sun beds were great. The hotel is beautiful. I would like to express my gratitude to the team of chefs, it was delicious every day. There are a lot of dishes to choose from. Incredibly talented singers performed every night. From what I didn't really like - sometimes it smelled like sewage in the bathroom. The sheets and some towels still need to be updated. I would also like some kind of quick point with boiling water/tea, because the service was long until we gave a big tip.

I’ve stayed there for 5 days and I can say that this place is beautiful. The rooms are very good but I didn’t like the lighting. The food was super great but the desert weren’t that good and the snacks also. The beach there is very good and there’s no rocks in it. There’s no animation team or activities there which was a sad thing for me.

Kaisol Romance Resort is a great resort for a relaxing holiday where you enjoy the sun, drinks and a swim in the pool or the red sea!

The resort itself is great and well organized. The food and drinks are great and the service is very fast/friendly.

Relaxing at the pool or on the beach is great! You will get disturbed by people trying to sell you excursions or stuff like that but they offer a way to stop that.

If you do excursions make sure to add extra time to the duration. You usually go by different resorts to pick people up and that will take longer.

This is the best 5-star hotel we have ever been to! The service is almost perfect especially in the main restaurant, everyone is super friendly and very professional. Also, the food was always exceptional with different themes every day. We will definitely come back very soon, thank you so much for everything! Stuff is very nice, helpful, fast, flexible and they carry drinks to the sunbeds, whether at the pool or on the beach. 🍹

🍲The food is excellent, every day is in the symbols of a different cuisine (Italian, Asian, European...). There are also 5 La cart restaurants at no extra charge, for which you need to make a reservation in advance. Dinners are accompanied by live music.

🛏️The hotel is very clean. The rooms are modern with a bigger balcony.

🌊The pools were about 29 degrees. The sea was cooler but people were swimming, about 25 degrees ( like in summer in Croatia)

The hotel meets the category of a 5 star hotel.
