Hotel with a very beautiful green area. Great service and great food. Recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

Renovated: 2009
Location: 8 km from airport, 25 km from Naama Bay, 29 km from the Old town, in the area of Nabq Bay, on the beach.
Consists of a main 2-storey building (reception) and complex 3-storey bungalows.
In the hotel's 547 rooms. There are rooms for non-smokers and connected room.
Total area: 120 000 m2.
Beach: private sandy beach, near the corals, pontoon, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses, towels – free of charge. The length of the beach 200 m.
We accept credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club.
Pets: no.
ATTENTION! Rooms Superior Room located only 4, 5 and 6 buildings (before the reception).
All Superior Room with two Queen beds.

The hotel offers a food on system all inclusive (10:00-23:00):
Breakfast (07:00-10:00),Lunch (12:30-15:00),
Dinner (18:30-21:00 at the restaurant "Palmera"; 19:00-22:00 at the restaurant "Riviera").
Snacks at the "Luna bar" and "Nino Pool bar" (11:00-12:00 and 16:00-17:00).
Fresh juices and ice cream - for a fee. Juices, soft drinks, Egyptian wine production, local beer, mineral water, coffee and tea, and all alcoholic drinks of local production (such as Wine, gin, Rum. Whiskey, Brandy, and so on) served in a glass in the afternoon.
Wine is only served during dinner. Special, imported drinks, espresso, ice cream, fresh juices are served at the lobby bar and the a La card restaurants: the Old fish, Portofino and Felafel surcharge.
Room service is not included in paid when booking the power supply system "All inclusive". A bill for service will be billed separately in accordance with the prices listed in "Room service" menu. The location and operation of bars and restaurants on the system "All inclusive" can be changed in accordance with the work schedule of the hotel.

they have rooms with two 160cm beds
and family rooms with extra 1 meter beds plus the two 160cm
and connected rooms for bigger familes.
all views are good either garden, pool, or sea.
food not much in varities but good food is served.
soft drinks are not that much of quality but will do.
a pleasant stay is assured.
My stay here with my family very much. Food is great! We did have some misunderstanding with room initially but everything was sorted and we got wonderful rooms with garden view. thank you grand plaza for this great experience. Also staff is very nice, housekeeping is great, waiters are great! Loved it
There are two animation teams (International and Italian) and they are both great. The problem is that the hotel provides only daily activities. As for example the neighboring Rixos hotel had party all day and night. The shows in the hotel’s main theater were very basic and ultra short.
Nabq area is very windy, so the pier to see the coral reef is open only from 15.30 to 17.30 aprox.
Unfortunately I cannot suggest the hotel even it has a great potential and great employees.
Beach and pools are open from 8 a.m till sunset but they started closing half an hour earlier every day, which means that from about 17 till midnight there is basically nothing to do on the premises besides eating. The hotel isn't close to Sharm el Sheikh city center, so taxi is quite expensive ($15 each way).
However, the sea is very close (depending on your room 2-8 minutes) and the corals and fish seen during snorkeling are beautiful. Along the beach goes a promenade, but you're only allowed to stay on the path and not enter other hotels' area.
Now about the food. Honestly, it's not good at all. There aren't many options and the food is quite similar every day. Vegans and vegetarians don't even have a chance to put together a decent meal, since most of the seemingly meatless options still have chicken or beef in them. Taste of the food is generally weird and bland, salads are dry and unseasoned. Snacks are given beside the pools between the main meals and I would say I liked the french fries much more than the main food. But all the waste!! Every time you get a drink they give you a new plastic cup even if you repeatedly ask them to reuse the one you give them. Snacks are served with styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. It's no surprise if you see a plastic cup floating in the pool.
Service was good but sometimes the workers didn't greet us back. During the day you can expect several salesmen to approach you and offer "good prices" for trips to the desert and snorkeling.

Availability of food was a bit poor such as the times it's served and locations. I think maybe I'm comparing it to hotels we have been to which have served food all day at various locations. Glasses, plates and cutlery often ran out at meal times. Food was a bit repetitive and not the best. No ice cream for kids.
All inclusive beer was served in tiny plastic cups. Made it hard work really.
