Aurora Oriental Resort Sharm El Sheikh

I've been going here with my family since forever and my parents went before I was even born

It's one of the best hotels ever and everytime we say like we wanna go try a new place we always just end up at aurora oriental Resort. It's perfect and the rooms are very well kept and you are always greeted with the biggest smile , the staff are very hardworking and go out of their way to help you.

Also, the food is super delicious and the restaurant is very clean and luxurious.
And don't even get me started on the animation team, they are so energetic, lively and very vibrant and enthusiastic.
Overall,
This hotel has been our go-to for years, and every visit is filled with wonderful memories. I can't wait to return and create even more!.

Freindly staff makes all the difference. The beach is very clean with variety of activities. Some furniture items inside the rooms as well as around the property could need some fresh paint but all in all was great vacation.

Bathooms need updating, but beds are very comfy, lovely staff very helpful good excursions, and lovely to walk around the grounds to the beach nice temperature in January felt very safe around the area when walking out, and loved a good haggle. Great stay will be back.

I'm writing this review after I just checked out our room. We've spent 1 week here. This is our third time in Egypt, but first time in Sharm. The resort is good value for the money, the food selection and quality is decent. The level of service is good, some areas are better than others, overall the staff deliver what is expected. I think the strongest point for this resort is cleanliness, the rooms are cleaned daily and to a high standard, I'd like to mention and thank Raga our housekeeper because He took care of our room for the whole week. The structure is a little dated and botched here and there, needs some renovation in my opinion. The beach is wide, clean, and has fine sand. The animation team is friendly and does their best to keep You entertained. We've used the spa for full body massage, price were reasonable and the massages were very good. The various resort sellers,e.g the ones that sells excursions, photos, activities, etc are friendly not pushy, and leave You alone if not interested to buy.
Catering staff is friendly and like normal anywhere in Egypt if You look after them, they will go the extra mile for You.
Overall the week was enjoyable and relaxing. If On a average budget You should consider this resort for your vacation.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The service was impeccable, and every staff member was exceptionally kind and attentive. The food was a delightful surprise, exceeding all expectations. Every aspect of the hotel, from the housekeeping to the restaurant, was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Overall an amazing experience at this hotel. Staff could not do enough for us the whole week. Started the week off with a Spa which was 10 out of 10. The animation team were superb! Always something going on! The lifeguard at the bottom pool is an absolute gem of a guy. Bebo on
the swim up pool bar is attentive and amazing at his job. Looking after all of us around the pool making sure we were happy. The cleaner in our rooms is a great guy too! Overall, great hotel with the friendliest staff 👌

We stayed for 11 nights in the resort. Hotel itself presents well and service staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room's decor would need a bit attention to detail but was cleaned well by a friendly cleaner. Animation team makes sure all guests are well welcomed and entertained, Dom and Aazra especially :) . Food was presented very well and most of the dishes were delicious. Lots of to choose from during main meals but lits of snacks in between the meals as well were offered.

We stayed at the Aurora Oriental for a week with our family. There were 15 of us and all in all, we had a really good time and a lovely experience.

Rooms:
Rooms were a decent size, loved that we had a fridge to keep water and drinks chilled. Maybe a little bit basic but all in all nice. As a large group it was nice that they placed us next to each other.

Staff:
Staff have been very friendly, especially with the children. Always say hello. The animation team have been really friendly, we wished that there was a little more entertainment during the day. The only advertising for day/evening events was on a noticeboard which if you didn't see you wouldn't know what was on. It would have been nice to see it advertised more and have performances run a little longer.
Cleaning team have been amazing especially Eisayed, who has been nothing but lovely. We had bottled water everyday and was very polite everyday when we would see him.
Regarding the bar staff, I believe it would work better if they had more than 1 person serving as it did cause queues when waiting for drinks. It would be better to have a separate machine for soft drinks and keep the bar free for alcohol.

The Spa
Definitely good value for money. Staff were welcoming and made us feel comfort.

Restaurant
Food selection was good, breakfast was the same selection everyday but lunch and dinner is good. The outdoor BBQ grill is a nice touch for lunch and dinner. Some of the restaurant staff were nice but at time we did feel like we were been rushed as on a few occasions plates and glasses were taken before we had finished with them. We understand that they are trying to keep to a time but it could make you feel a little uncomfortable. We think that the restaurant needs to cater to larger parties as we did find it harder to get tables together sometimes.

All in all we had a really nice time and with a few improvements it should be excellent
