Where to stay with pets in l'Albir

In our lodge, located on the north side of the hotel I've only managed to connect to the Internet once in the whole week. No problem at the pool or in the restaurants

The best thing about this place is the entertainment! We went ultra and had a premium lodge and it wa she best money I have spent! So glad I did

We stayed in garden lodges and it was nice location as we only had neighbours from two sides. But we could hear them pooping as walls were paper thin

Entertainment team is so good especially Joseph who went the extra mile for us all. He made this holiday even more special. The rest of the team are lovely too

Rooms are better than before as last time we came they didn't have separate bedrooms for kids so more privacy for them, always clean although should be mopped everyday because you cant walk round with no shoes on cause ur feet are black

Would be nice to be notified as we was waiting for oasis tribute but staff said it changed but we wasn't aware and also entertaining staff could go round and talk to guests to get to know them and let us know what activities are on so we could take part

We've stayed for 7 nights in the hotel and really enjoyed it. The location is simply amazing, very near the beach, great restaurants and shops. The staff has a great attitude to always help you find a solution

​ I also love that they give extra perks for long stays, having parking included was super convenient and the bottle of cava was a very delightful touch! The only areas of improvement would be maintenance of the rooms (which are a bit dated) and more comfortable beds, but I assume the hotel is aware of it and has renovated the upper floor

Breakfast is great, always with some variation in the menu so it doesn't get boring, but with consistency in the basic items. Finally, I thought the spa circuit was excellent! Really a gem

I've been a few times over the years and it's lovely. Friendly staff and immaculately kept. The spa circuit is fantastic and we'll worth coming just for that

Basically fantastic apartment but ruined with details. In 15 days I had once cleaning room. I got one small bath foam, AC couldn't work on fan speed 1, wi fi only in leaving room. Washing machine didn't work as well

Nice, clean fairly decent. Has a restoran which is decent as well so you are covered for essential needs only it's a bit expensive.

The apartments are up some quite steep hills around 1km from the beach and restaurants so might be tough with young children unless you have a car. I give 5 stars simply because of the 2 lads who manage the place

There is no lighting on the outside of the apartment complex and no manned reception. That gives an inhospitable experience that makes it difficult to feel comfortable

, beach chairs and an umbrella, we were surprised to find a beach cool bag. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and cava and the starter cleaning kit (dishwasher tab, bin bags, dishcloth, dish soap, etc)

No sun bed wars, plenty to go around the two pools, one roof top for adults only. Food is hit and miss but you can't please everyone. The hotel is designed well and only three stories high

Lifts can be a bit of a problem at peak times, although there are 6 they serve 25 floors and due to needing disability pushchair for child stairs were not an option

The location of the hotel is fantastic nearby shops, beach and market, the hotel itself is clean (apart from toilets in public areas there’s a constant smell), pool area is a fabulous size and we never struggled for a sunbed, good range of cocktails and drinks to be had

My only gripe regarding the pool area would be more parasols that are firmly fixed in its base people need them especially in hot weather with little ones, I would have estimated no more than twenty for a very large area

There were plenty of seating areas around the hotel. Designated smoking areas which I loved for a none smoker. The rooms were very spacious, plenty of space in the wardrobes to store your clothes etc

Altea is about a 10 -15 minute walk which we did everyday as myself anf husband like walking, you can even walk along the beach, just bare in mind it's very pebly and will require appropriate shoes

The hotel it's self are gorgeous everything about it the entrance the surroundings, gorgeous water feature in the lobby. We used the gym a few times and had everything you need

Food was amazing, something different everyday, was always something to enjoy. The pool was extremely clean and we're plenty of sunbeds throughout the day. The beach is just a few foot steps away from the pool area

All In all I would highly recommend this hotel. and will definitely be staying here again in the future

Now my main complaint is the beer was not good always flat can’t understand why and was never served in correct glass, ended up drinking bottle beer in hotel and instead of sitting in hotel we spent most our time in Altea bars and restaurants where the same beers where excellent and cheaper

Recently just come back from staying at the gala placidia hotel, the location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was very good, and found all the staff to be friendly, Liliana on the the reception was fantastic and nothing was to much hassle for her and Antonio behind the bar legend :-)

Came here with two of my friends for a girls trip Had an amazing time and staff were lovely especially the man behind the bar that served us sex on the beaches all week!😂 Only complaint is that the walls of the rooms are very thin and we had the maids banging on our doors around 9:30am the day we were checking out when we only needed to check out at 11am

Nice hotel in a good location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Food was nice, standard buffet type deal but everything fresh and hot. Entertainment is very good, especially for children

The hotel is brand new, and the building materials used are first class. It has two outdoor swimming pools, a small one at the terrace located at the chill out area, and a big one at the ground floor

Stayed here for 4 nights in June last year. The hotel interior was nice as was the room. The balcony area could definitely use some TLC. The hotel was very busy but it wasn’t noisy in the hotel during the day or night

The lifts could take some time on occasion but that’s life. Tip - don’t wait at -1 for the lift. Go up one floor as they seemed to stop there more often. Great location and we will be revisiting next year

Lifts are a nightmare but I do think they need to be priority for people with prams and wheel chairs as some was left waiting so long. Kids pool is fantastic water slides are fun and well monitored

The pool area was clean and the children's play area was excellent. Overall I would recommend and would use the hotel again and entertainment by the pool in the day time and the evening was good

There is building work currently being done at this hotel, but although my room was directly above the work, I was not disturbed by any noise

There are 3 lifts to use & quite fast in all fairness. Pointless kitchen as nothing works. Bathroom you can’t swing a cat in there and very rusty & not cleaned

Only negative I would say entertainment it mainly for the older people. But some old people did not enjoy it. I like cheeses entertainment not this. I would stay again for the staff as they were lovely

Hotel was a little tired, breakfast not very appetising and there are only 2 lifts.

Needless to say I saw friends I hadn't seen for years at said venue so 2 pints later I continued to Hotel Dynastic and eventually arrived via The Green Door (for those regular visitors to Las Vegas, it's not the same) and no I've never been

Overall good Good location, breakfast not too good. AC on point for hot spain weather. Make sure to book your taxi yourself as the hotel charges comission and the price is higher. Ended yo paying 95€ instead of 75€

Great location just 7 minutes walk from the beach

The staff were friendly and efficient on arrival and I ditched my bag and made my way to meet friends but Uncle Peds was on my way and I promised myself that I wouldn't get way laid

Fantastic stay bteween 30/09/2024 and 07/10/2024. Only downside was evening meal was at 8pm which is too late for us, but the Spanish eat later

Inconvenient points: It is far from the old town (20-30 minutes on foot), there are many pubs around that play loud music, so it is noisy at night, and the springs of the bed felt so hard that it was very uncomfortable to sleep

On to the balcony now, which was on the opposite side of road to John and Josephs, and not that far from the road, so knowing Beni didn't expect a quiet night, but for a people watching balcony you won't get better

Up the lift to the left, entered the room to be met with a really nice scented space, exceptionally clean room, with two comfy single beds, fluffy towels and plenty of complementary toiletries

I then realised I hadn't taken the option of the safe box, back down to reception sorted straight away, it's €4 per night or €20 per week, the safes are activated by your room key

It is a 4-star hotel, but there are no amenities such as toothpaste or toothbrush

On arrival check in was quick with room for 3 nights ready straight away
