AC Hotel Aitana by Marriott

Absolutely disgusting treatment at this hotel. A dream weekend turned into a nightmare. I am a disabled 76year old pensioner who saved to take my 17year old autistic grandson to see Real Madrid play on the 24th May. I had booked the hotel at the beginning of the year requesting twin beds and two nights bed & breakfast all paid for ( in a package including flights etc.) On arrival told I had 1 night ..even though I showed the voucher was told No! Went to the room and it's a double bed..and once again No! They even refused to give me a mattress to sleep on a wooden floor. After contacting the travel agent the hotel agreed to move rooms the following night and threw me 2cot mattresses to sleep on the floor the first night It was horrendous!!.After no sleep we went for breakfast to be told once again No!! Even though I had the voucher to say I had paid. We were treat so bad at this hotel so beware. We just couldn't wait to go home. At least we had the experience of seeing Real Madrid play.

Clean rooms. Nice lobby with good earthy tunes as noted by others. Customer service is prescriptive, basic but lacks reasonable accommodation. As Ambassador Elite, there was no recognition or conversation; as a matter of fact because I was late, it was presumed a no show. On top of the issues I would expect breakfast to be free for the starts, but it’s not - as m others have noted. Not even sure they recognize the difference between Platinum (which should get breakfast) and Ambassador Elite (which should at least get something other than a free random points). Rooms lacked air conditioning as it was “too cool” outside. I was advised to “open the window” but kept up by the garbage trucks running along the street during the night. While I wanted to enjoy this hotel, it was just a tough sell at 300+ Euros per night.
