Chania Town, Betolo 1 🧭 Map
Elia Bettolo Hotel is in an ideal location in the Old Town of Chania. It's walking distance from the bus station, Maritime Museum, the Old Lighthouse, and tons of restaurants. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Caveat: If you need a taxi, it may not be able to pick you up right at the hotel because the roads in the Old Town are sometimes...
The front of house staff where excellent always helpful with with anything I needed and the excursions they booked for me where amazing and informative. The driver was for these trips was really good, sorry can’t remember his name but he gave lots of information about places we were going past and was very helpful would highly recommend staying here and going on the excursions.
Really nice room and clean. Great location if you want to be in the middle of Old Town Chaina. Be aware that parking is EXTREMELY difficult in this area even on weeknights.
I would highly recommend everyone who comes to Chania stays in Elia Hotel.it’s located at the center of the old town and close to everything. The room is spacious, nice and clean. Breakfast was also great. And most of all , the staff are so nice and friendly. I’d like to thank Areti, who helped me find my lost E-Reader at a dessert shop nearby after I checked out and left the city. She helped me find...
Really close to the town, easy to find wherever you decide to go.
Good service about the front desk, the staffs are very helping.
Just because of down stairs is a music restaurant, their music will close around 23:30.
Great location in the city center, spotless rooms with daily cleaning, and exceptionally friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Good location in the edge of the old town. Strange entrance where you have to climb upstairs in order to get the elevator. Weird disabled lift where you have to climb over the metal bannister to get the lift.
Very good basic hotel friendly and helpful staff
Very clean and well situated
Bathroom was very clean & modern. Bedroom was clean as well with a comfortable bed. Big terrace / balcony area with a great view.
Breakfast was great value for money with lots of tasty options, I even saved the sandwich everyday for my lunch due to the filling options provided.
Location was dead centre in Chania allowing great accessibility to all the local sights, restaurants & views.
Location was good for bus station and old town. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night as we had to catch flight the next day. The only disappointment was that the roof terrace was closed off and we was looking forward to a telaxing drink and view of the town.
Good location, at 5-10 minutes walking distance from the port, not in a loud area but close to the city center, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, comfortable bed, nice large balcony. Cons: the bathroom doesn't have any type of hangers or shelves for the towels/toiletries; the place feels a bit old; no parking place, but we found public parking on Mark. Mpotsari street and nearby streets (10 minutes...
Great location and really helpful staff, the rooms are basic but all you need. Only issue we had to make others aware of is the cleaner leaves the balcony doors slightly open after cleaning (assume for fresh air) and we had some items stolen, we assume from the neighbouring balcony as only they could access this and they checked out the same day. So would recommend asking for cleaners to keep doors...

This hotel was in a great location, the staff was very helpful, a bit noisey as you are so near the harbour but that cannot be helped.
The staff was very friendly and helpful on helping with taxi’s. The breakfast was also very good and a nice table area. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The hosts at Nostos Hotel were immensely kind and helpful, sourcing trip info, timetables, and booking taxis. The building was full of character and beautifully decorated. Location was incredible with gorgeous balcony views (being on the harbour front meant there was noise into the evening, but the vista across the water was unbeatable). Thank you for a great stay.
Amazing spot, very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.
Lovely little hotel right by the harbour.
A lovely little hotel about 2 metres from the harbour!
I was greeted by a super friendly gentleman on reception who showed me my room and gave me a map of Chania Old Town.
There is a cute balcony/ veranda where you can see the harbour from the hotel. Beautiful to watch the sunset from.
My room was perfect for just me, the only thing to mention is the bed...
Great stay

We recently enjoyed a fabulous 11 night stay at M City Hotel and can highly recommend it to everyone. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection of both savoury and sweet dishes. Staff were lovely and...
Enjoyed our 4 day stay very much. Excellent location few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and accessible walk into Chania centre/ port. Plenty of shops and cute lanes, and places to eat / drink. The M City Hotel is an exceptional boutique hotel located in the heart of Chania with a short walk into the Old Town. Breakfast is very good and most importantly the staff is very helpful and informative if you need assistance. Katarina was amazing and was very helpful in every way.
Amazing friendly staff, customer service was great 👍
Excellent stay
The hotel was new, centrally located and had everything we needed.

Had a top floor room with a view to die for, close to the harbour quite rustic with modern bathroom. Booking direct was easy with assistance / advice on parking and an early check in, rapid response to a few emails. Warned prior that there was no lift but had assistance with bags etc. Service wise, for our stay of a couple of nights George was a mine of information and assistance, very much appreciated
George was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. He provided many recommendations for breakfast and dinner. He also arranged our taxi to airport.
He made the time in Chania very enjoyable
The location is great, though it can be a little difficult to find on first arrival. The staff is very, very helpful. The free parking is on the street or in public lots nearby.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful and open to answer any questions about the places around the area. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the location was great to walk around the old town of Chania. I really recommend it.
We had a wonderful 5 night stay here. The hotel is well situated and we had a lovely view of the harbor. Room was spotlessly clean with thoughtful amenities including coffee, comfortable bed, fridge, safe etc. George was so helpful and gave us some great suggestions as well as answering my curious questions about life on Crete. We felt safe and comfortable here and would highly recommend for a stay...
This hotel is in the perfect location overlooking the Venetian harbour and my room had one of the best views I have ever had out of a hotel window. But what really makes this hotel so exceptional, is George, who runs the hotel for his family. Look We absolutely loved this boutique hotel!
The service was amazing, the design stunning, and the Parisian-style atmosphere made it so special. It’s close to everything yet quiet and relaxing – a perfect stay!
This was a highlight of our trip. Very great property in the old town. We will return to this hotel. Modern and in the heart of the city but still quiet.
Charming Hotel in the old Town. In a lively neighborhood, still very quiet.
We enjoyed the room, the terrasse and were happily surprised by the quality of room cleaning everyday
When we enter the building we felt we were in a place we loved to be. It was made in Venetian period in Crete with character that tells an ongoing story from five centuries ago. It is in the Venetian Neighborhood. It was converted to a library in 1928 by Antonio Malmo . After all the alterations in its interior and usage, it has been renovated in a way that integrates and highlights its unique identity...
We loved our stay at the Malmo Historic Hotel! Lovely room and absolutely gorgeous bathroom! Air-con was a lifesaver. The staff were so helpful and nice. Would recommend for anyone on a trip to Chania.

very nice hotel, I can only recommend it
Beautiful accomodation in great spot. In the middle of the city, next to all the shops and sights of Chania, with mesmerizing view to the church of Agios Nikolaos. The building is a restored old manor which fits perfectly in with the beauty of the city. The staff was very polite and helpful.
The hotel is in an excellent location. It was very clean and tidy. Maria and Antonis, the owners, were really kind, excellent hosts! Will definitely go back again!
All our staff members have been fully vaccinated! #fully_vaccinated_staffLooking forward to a safe & healthy summer for all :D
I've been in so many hotels and i usually choose traditional original buildings. Vilelmine is truly authentic. They have combined traditional and classic elements in a great way without being too much. Very clean , in the absolute center (couldn't be more) in the old town of Chania. Super clean and Antonis and Maria (owners) are very friendly. They take care of the rooms and they are very strict with...
This place is so charming, clean and adorable. The staff are incredibly sweet and helpful. Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. The hotel is very old but very well kept and clean. It's also in an excellent location that is very central to everything. 5/5!

We stayed here 23 - 30 May 2025 on the second week of our holiday in Crete. A wonderful hotel in Nea Chora, Chania, right next to a beautiful beach. Nothing to dislike about this place. Location perfect , but it’s the staff that work here who make it , nothing is too much trouble , they work tirelessly to keep everyone happy and the hotel, apartments and outside areas are kept so clean and tidy. I stayed in a studio and there was everything you needed in them. Beds comfortable , showers really nice and the views from balcony perfect , I slept with...
The review is about the beach restaurant of the hotel of the same name. They have very good food and decent prices. The special pizza is very good and the pork steak is huge, served with pita, salad and fries and costs only 14Euro. You have to order at a counter, where you pay immediately and you get an electronic device that you take with you to the table, or on the beach, which will vibrate and beep...
Need some upgrades, but an amazing place by the beach and near the town. Explorer the area around and make sure you walk the Beach promenade into the city 🥰
This hotel is great place to stay. Four years in a row I spent my entire summer vacation in this hotel. The owners Christina and other staff like Alex are so kind and welcoming. I am very grateful for all their help and support.
The hotel has a good location – right by the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which is convenient for those who want to enjoy both the sea and city attractions. The reception staff were helpful and polite, and the cleaning service was reliable. Another plus is the gated parking, which feels safe and convenient.

We came for dinner on our first night of our holiday. The staff are kind and attentive. The food was glorious. The ocean view was beautiful. I think we will be coming back here again soon!
The property needs to be renewed: We stayed in a ground floor room with a very comfy bed but a very small and old bathroom. The shower without curtain, a small sink, without any shelves to store our own items. The soap is not refilled every day and towels are changed under request. The closet smelled like old. The room is equipped with a small old rusty kitchen that doesn't work (just the fridge works...

Hotel was right on beach. Near restaurants and bars. Decent size room for 3 people. Parking was a few blocks away. Staff at bar attached to hotel were very unfriendly. Also, when given a room with a “city view” I wasn’t expecting...
If you’re hoping to walk out the door and onto the beach, this is the place for you! Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful, and I loved having a view of the sea. It was fun to be close to Old Town and the Venetian Port as well.
We liked it so much we returned for our last two nights before leaving crete.
Location suited us perfectly. Our balcony overlooked the lovely beach. Fabulous restaurants close by. Especially Kous Kous and Manos. Woodstock for breakfast.
Very friendly. Recommend the rooms with the Seaview.
Excellent authentic budget hotel. Fantastic staff, location and service. That’s why we’re going back in a few weeks time. Hooray!
It is more a guesthouse than an hotel. It is in a good location, right in front of the beach. For unpretentious people, it is a good choice, because it is convenient for the beach, and the old town can be reached in twenty minutes on foot. The room, however, was basic, with old furnishings and foam mattresses which were not so comfortable. However, it was clean, especially by Greek standards.

This is a basic hotel, but clean and comfy. Amazing to get a place right on the most beautiful beach! You also save €5 on beach umbrella & chairs because you stay here. As with so many things in life, its the small thins that count. This is a hotel that lifts itself over and beyond what you expect from a small, family-run hotel. And if you ask them for advice on where to go, be it a restaurant or an excursion, they will take out time to find out who...
