Location: in the centre of Rome, 31 km from the international airport Leonardo da Vinci. The Colosseum and Trevi fountain are 2 metro stops away.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The front desk people, particularly Leonardo and Lorenzo were amazing and went above and beyond for me. I heard no noise from the other guests as far as doors closing early in the a.m. like is heard at most other hotels.The room was small but functional and comfortable as was the bed which was very comfortable. The breakfast was good but could have had more bread choices. Location was great with public transportation nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I am very happy to recommend this excellent hotel. Just had a 4 night stay, beautiful hotel, rooms all very clean. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. In a great location for exploring Rome. Definitely give it 10 out of 10

A perfect hotel in a perfect location. Efficient and extremely friendly staff (special thanks to Cristel and everyone at the reception for all their help). Sufficient breakfast is enjoyable and tasty. The attitude you receive from Raluca is really homelike. Once you tell her the kind of coffee or tea you prefer, you will find a cup of your choice in front of you every morning. Cleanliness of our room and shared areas is worth many thanks. Our cleaning lady (Room 404) was just perfect. Considering the building is quite old and there is not very much space, you should not expect high-tech equipment in, e.g., your bathroom. But the location, high quality service, cleanliness, sufficient breakfast and homelike atmosphere make your stay enjoyable and you enthusiastic to explore the Eternal City.

We spent 8 nights at Hotel Diocleziano and had a wonderful stay.
The hotel is centrally located near Rome’s city center, with many bus lines nearby and convenient connections to the airport via Rome Termini.
Our room was very comfortable, featuring a large bed, strong WiFi, and a quiet atmosphere - even with the windows open. The bathroom was spacious and well-designed (unlike the small ones we’ve encountered in other hotels).
Breakfast was excellent, served in a welcoming and uncrowded dining area. On our last day, we had an early checkout, and the staff kindly provided a food bag for us.
The reception team always greeted us with a smile, making our stay even more pleasant.
Bottom line: highly recommended!

The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. From pastries and fruit to eggs and coffee, everything was beautifully presented and of excellent quality.
The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to assist with recommendations, directions, and any questions I had. Their professionalism and friendliness made a big difference.
I also want to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel. My room and the common areas were spotless and well-maintained. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work.

This hotel is very comfortable and convenient with excellent service. The neighborhood has many wonderful restaurants and is close to the main train station but the rooms are still quiet, clean and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. A perfect place to stay in central Rome with easy access to the airport and when heading out of the city.

We booked hotel Diocleziano for its proximity to the train station on the final night of our honeymoon. The communication leading up to our stay was excellent! Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely front desk agent who gave us some great recommendations (we had an amazing meal next door at Culinaria). Thank you for making our final night in Rome such a special one! We hope to be back again soon!

We had a very nice stay. It was near the train station, which is very convenient. The rooms were clean and had great service.
On one of the roads to walk there, there are homeless sleeping. They can be avoided by going around to a different street.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days in Rome prior to leaving for a cruise and it was great! They gave us amazing food recommendations, taxi recommendations and also got us a taxi to the cruise port. They also arranged a shuttle from the airport for us that was perfect. The hotel itself is nice and clean and pretty walkable (20-30 min walks).
The only complaint I had was the ac wasn't that great and we were there during August and I wish it was stronger. Other than that, the hotel was great.

•My experience at Hotel Diocleziano in Rome was just okay. Although the hotel is rated as a luxury four-star establishment, it felt more like a lower-tier three-star hotel to me. The amenities and service did not meet the expectations I had for a four-star property.
•The location is ideal and was a key factor in our choice, as it is close to Rome Termini, the main train station. It is also conveniently situated near some of Rome's major attractions, such as the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.
•The reception service was good. The receptionist who greeted us upon our late-night arrival was very friendly. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. The options were very limited, and there was either no replacement or a significant delay in replenishing items. Additionally, I observed the waitstaff laughing and talking loudly in the kitchen, leaving the restaurant hall unattended. This was quite disappointing.
•The bedroom is spacious and comfortable, but the furniture is dark and rustic. The view from the window overlooks the street and is rather unremarkable. The bathroom requires some maintenance, the ceiling has a musty, and the bathtub is cracked.
•Overall, the stay was good but could be improved. On my next visit to Rome, I would prefer to choose a different hotel.
