Delle Nazioni Hotel in Rome

My husband and I stayed here as part of a two week anniversary trip to Italy. We booked a superior room and were very happy with it. The room had a nice view of the piazza and was a nice size, though the shower was a bit small. The location is excellent- very close to many of the major sites, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Though we were pleased with the hotel, what made our stay truly 5 star was the care and service we received from Patrick at the front desk. He was, by far, the most helpful concierge we’ve ever encountered. He went out of his way to provide anything we needed. On our first night there, we were running late to pick up tickets to the papal audience the next day, and he ran (literally) to go get them for us. When we had early mornings and couldn’t be there for breakfast, he ensured that we had breakfast boxes to take with us.

Most notably, Patrick was a tremendous help to us when I had the misfortune of becoming extremely ill on what was supposed to be our last night there (we ended up having to extend our stay by 3 nights). He explained options for care to my husband and arranged for a wonderful doctor to come see me. Extending our stay when I was unable to travel was seamless and easy. When I felt a little better, but still could not eat regular food, Patrick was kind enough to call a local restaurant and request for them to make me broth with some pastina in it, which was exactly what I needed.

He went above and beyond in so many ways, and we are so appreciative of his help! We hope to return to Hotel Nazionale again in the future and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning to go to Rome.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nazionale Roma during our short trip to Rome. The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated, and the rooms were just as comfortable and well kept. The staff were always friendly, incredibly helpful, and thoroughly professional. The only minor drawback was that street noise carried into the room more than expected, which could be a bit distracting at night. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Room was clean and spacious, hotel is tricky to find for the very first time, taxis may not take you right to the entrance. Around the corner from Giolitti gelato in Rome, and located in Italian parliament so it always felt very safe and quiet. Quick walk to all major sites, with the colosseum being the furthest at about 20-25min walking. Vatican City/museum required a cab/bus in my opinion. Bonus points for seeing the drone show at St Peter’s Basilica from our bathroom window!

Front desk staff were nice, our AC wasn’t working well the first night and the promptly resolved the issue the next day when we asked about it. Breakfast was great and had lots of options. Overall would recommend staying here!

My first trip to Rome and I can't say enough about the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk and staff were always available and graciously helpful. The bar area was comfortable and the 3 breakfast dining areas were relaxing and beautifully decorated. The variety of pastries, breads, waffles, fresh fruits, juices, eggs, cheeses, meats was outstanding and so tasty. I especially enjoyed using the expresso and cappuccino machine each morning. I would definitely recommend Hotel Nazionale Roma!

Stay Experience:
Fantastic location—just a minute from the Trevi Fountain, perfect for walking to Rome’s main sights. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom a good size for a central hotel.

Great base for a short stay in Rome. Clean, comfortable, well-located, and with everything you need. Would happily stay again.

It's very good. It's only 100 meters away from the Trevi Fountain. You can get there by going downstairs and turning the corner. It's also quiet. The guy at the front desk is super handsome.

The location is right next to the Trevi Fountain and a short walk to the Pantheon. We needed to make changes prior to our booking and the staff have responded promptly to our changes. Very helpful. Comfortable rooms

[Room] It was clean and the ceiling was high and beautiful. The water pressure of the shower and the wind pressure of the hair dryer were strong, so I was able to stay there without stress. I didn't mind the noise from outside. I stayed in the winter, but the room was warm. There was also an outlet next to the pillow, so I felt at ease.

[Location] It was a 30-second walk to the Trevi Fountain, a 7-minute walk to the Spanish Steps, and a 20-minute walk to the Colosseum. There was also a bus stop nearby, so I was able to go to the Vatican City and major tourist sites without any trouble. There were also many restaurants and souvenir shops, so it was a great place to go anywhere.

[Breakfast] It was a buffet style with a wide variety of salads, fruits, bread, coffee, juice, cereal, and everything was delicious.

[Staff] Everyone was very friendly and I felt good that they greeted me every time we passed each other. I can only speak a little English, but the lady at the front desk spoke slowly so that I could understand, which made a good impression on me.

Also, on the morning of the day we were to check out, my friend had an allergic reaction and we had to go to the hospital in a hurry. They wrote me a note telling me which hospital to go to. The check-out time was 11:00, but we didn't make it and returned to the hotel around 16:30. I explained the situation by email and said I would pay an additional fee, but the owner said that I didn't have to pay the extra fee because he knew the situation. Other staff members also expressed their concern.
We needed to go to Venice that day, but the hotel we had booked stated that check-in was required by 20:00. Since we couldn't make it in time, we needed to confirm that the time had passed and that it was okay. The front desk lady explained the situation to us over the phone and we were able to go to Venice safely.

This hotel is full of kindness. If you go to Rome, please stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it.

It's pretty good, the location is close to the Trevi Fountain, just a few steps away, it's part of the tourist area, there are a lot of people around, dining is also very convenient, and it's not far to walk to other attractions.
