This hotel is perfectly located near top attractions within Rome. The staff is professional and pleasant. It’s great that the hotel reception is open around the clock. We had arrived early in the day and the hotel staff safely checked-in our luggage before our room was ready, allowing us to roam around the nearby attractions, shops, cafés, and markets before normal check-in time explained on the website. Upon the room being ready earlier than expected, we were notified via phone call from reception. The staff went the extra mile and had our bags placed within our room before our arrival back to the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning and hot water were working properly. After checking out, I was notified that I had left behind a watch in the room, and that housekeeping had turned it in. The honesty and attentional-to-detail the housekeeping team has is unmatched anywhere else in the city. I would 100% return to stay at Hotel Nazionale and would also recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Patrick the receptionist was an absolute gem of a human being. He bent over backwards to make sure every single need was taken care of. Patrick we miss you!! We will be back!
As far as the hotel, the room was beyond words, the breakfast had everything and more. The location is perfect. There’s really no way to accurately describe how fantastic this stay was. If you go to Rome, you are doing yourself a disservice to not stay here. Walking distance to just about everything, restaurants are close, activities close too. 5 min walk to the Trevi. 20/10, this was the best place we stayed on our entire trip.

An amazing place to stay in the heart of Rome.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was excellent, and the cocktails in the bar were amazing as well.
The view from our hotel room window (we were on the 6th floor) was magical. You could see St. Peters Basilica clearly in the distance.
I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Rome.

Great hotel, very centrally located in Rome. It’s right in the middle of the historic city center, walkable to many major attractions. Being located next to Parliament, it kept the street noise to a minimum for the area and made us feel safe having so much security in the plaza outside. The rooms were clean and a decent size for Europe. Of course it isn’t the most modern but that’s to be expected in Rome, and it had everything we needed. The breakfast was pretty good, and the front desk was helpful with calling us taxis several times. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Rome.

What an amazing hotel and staff perfectly located in the heart of the city! As a travel agent, I recommend Hotel Nazionale to all of my clients staying in Rome. The location is unbeatable, walkable to all sights. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and to help you in any way. And the hotel itself is so charming and historic, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Perfect stay! Thank you Hotel Nazionale!

This was a great hotel. We splurged on this hotel and it was worth it. We had a slight glitch the first night, and they were extremely accommodating. Our room was large, almost larger than our house, and was very luxurious. Breakfast was very good, a great selection, though the coffee machines were a little disappointing. A great location. It is situated next to a government building so there was no one outside at night, so reasonably quiet. It made our stay in Rome delightful. I especially am grateful to Patrick who was so helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

A few things about this hotel: (1) while the location is really good, getting to the hotel is a nightmare, especially if you're driving in. The area is blocked off due to the hotel's proximity to a government building. Very inconvenient for guests. The closest parking is 3km away. (2) Whatever you do ... DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 421, especially during the spring/summer/fall. The afternoon sun - along with no access to air conditioning in the spring - made the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. (3) Unhelpful staff: When I called the front desk for a solution, Gregorio said "what do you want me to do madam?" (The kind of answer one would not expect from a 4 star hotel.) He told me all the fans were being used by other hotel guests (so a great number of guests at this 4 star hotel was suffering with the heat too!) and he couldn't help me. Maybe I'm old fashioned but when you stay at a four-star hotel, one expects better. Finally, Gregorio found a fan and that's the uncomfortable way we had to sleep for the night, a fan pushing around hot air. I won't be going to this hotel again, ever. The entire experience was such a disappointment. The only good thing I can say about the place was that the breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is in an excellent secure location, next to the Parliament Building. We were able to walk from the hotel to the all the places we wanted to visit. In the evening it was a short walk to a large number of restaurants which made finding an evening meal very easy. The hotel room exceeded our expectations. It was very big and had a seating area as well as a very comfortable bed and a newly refurbished shower room. The hotel was very clean and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. There was a good choice at breakfast time and the staff on duty at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit Rome for the first time like we did this would be an ideal place to stay.

I want to take this chance to complain Google map a little, this App is totally disappointed to point the direction, the pointer are simply making wrong directions, we need to use basic instinct to find it after a few wrong ways using Google map angle.
