Poseidon The Beach Hotel

Worst experience in hotel ever , I have booked an 5 bed apartment in booking 2 rooms and one living room . In the check in the give me only two rooms with 3 bed .

The worst they say we didn’t have this rooms in the hotel !!

As compensation the give me 2 standard room with French chair bed !!

** This is the only genuine opinion you need to consider if you plan to stay at Poseidon.

From the pictures, all you see is a beautiful view of the sea. But only when you're there in person, you realize that there's a 2x3 lane road between the hotel and the sea, which happens to be one of the busiest and noisiest roads in Athens. It's impossible to stay with open windows. The air conditioning didn't work, and we couldn't open the windows. It was horrible.

No one warned us beforehand that the hotel was undergoing renovation. We woke up to the sound of hammering in the morning, and when I stepped out onto the terrace, a worker was standing next to me on the scaffolding.

The skybar had no view because it was surrounded by scaffolding.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but after the first one, we decided to move elsewhere. We asked if they could refund us for one night out of the three, but they weren't willing to.

There is a window between the room and the bathroom/toilet, so you can comfortably watch your partner while they are using the toilet. There is a small curtain that can be pulled down, but it's useless.
