I had a wonderful stay at Avani Ratchada Bangkok! The staff were friendly, warm, and helpful especially Laksi the receptionist. We had arrived too early and she assisted us in getting a room for me immediately just so we can rest up before heading out to the city.
The hotel itself is not in the city center but by no means far, MRT Rama 9 is just right next to it. Another perks are 2 surrounding malls and Lotus Supermarket attached to the hotel building itself. Definitely try this area if the bustle and traffic of the city become too much for you.
The breakfast was a real highlight of my stay. In terms of variety, they offered a very humble spread, however flavor wise, they’re miles ahead most 4-5 stars hotels I know of.
Another aspect that really stood out to me was the exceptional service. Every staff member I met went the extra mile, whether it was with a friendly smile, a quick response to requests, or helpful tips about the area.
Overall, my experience was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok.

The staff were outstanding — warm, friendly, and professional. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and efficient. The team went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and personalized, which made a lasting impression.
I booked a Club Room, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity. The Club benefits added significant value — including exclusive access to the Avani Club Lounge, where I enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere, complimentary refreshments throughout the day, and an evening cocktail session with light bites. The personalized service at the lounge was impeccable, and the staff there made me feel truly special.
Breakfast offered a wide selection of both Thai and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and inviting.
Overall, Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel delivers an excellent combination of comfort, convenience, and top-tier service. I highly recommend choosing a Club Room for the enhanced amenities and the elevated experience that makes your stay even more memorable.

A colleague also went to the spa massage and gushed that it was well worth the money for a very premium vibe, including a mango sticky rice and blue pea tea offered at the end of the massage.

I’ve been staying here every time I visit Bangkok since it was called Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel back in 2013.
It’s super convenient because it’s close to the MRT and a shopping mall, which makes getting around very easy.
The hotel staff are also very friendly and welcoming.
This time, my stay happened to fall on my birthday, and I was so touched to find a surprise birthday setup in the room!
Everything about the hotel meets my expectations.
It’s definitely my go-to place to relax whenever I’m in Bangkok.
