From the moment I arrived, Sofitel Sukhumvit delivered a flawless five-star experience. The location is unbeatable right on Sukhumvit Road, with easy access to both BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit stations. The welcome was warm and professional, setting the tone for a luxurious stay.
The room was elegant, spotless, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, generous amenities, and sweeping city views. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the blend of French sophistication with Thai hospitality.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight an impressive spread catering to all tastes, from fresh pastries and tropical fruit to made-to-order eggs and Thai specialties. Service throughout the hotel was exceptional: always attentive, never intrusive.
The rooftop bar offers breathtaking views of Bangkok and is the perfect place to unwind after a day in the city. The pool and spa facilities were also top-notch, providing a relaxing escape from the busy streets below.
Overall, Sofitel Sukhumvit exceeded expectations in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for luxury, convenience, and outstanding service in the heart of Bangkok.
Very centric and very well connected to everything
As a Gold member, I could check in early at 12:30 PM and check out late at 2:00 PM, which was great (it was a quiet day with few guests). Aside from that, just the usual welcome drink—no extra perks this time.
The location is really convenient, with a direct BTS connection and just a short walk to Terminal 21. But if you’re driving… be warned: Bangkok traffic is brutal. You might spend more time in the car than at breakfast.
The pool is simple, nothing too special. I didn’t get a chance to try the spa, gym, or rooftop restaurant this time around.
I’d give it a 4.2 out of 5 for this visit. If it were a bit more kid-friendly, it would’ve been even better.

The staff truly go above and beyond. Kevin, our concierge on the first day, did a fantastic job explaining the room and giving us helpful info about the Songkran festivities. Kao, Tui, Boy, and Palm were incredibly friendly—always checking in on how our day was and chatting with us at the door.
