I recently stayed at the Beyazit Palace Hotel in Istanbul, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the major attractions like the Grand Bazaar and Hagia Sophia.
The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a traditional Turkish feel. What really stood out was the friendly service; the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. And the rooftop terrace? Absolutely stunning views of Istanbul!

Do not believe in the reviews at booking/com as the staffs told us to give them 10/10.
Good: The hotel is near tram and metro lines. Walking distance to tourist attractions if you are willing to walk
Friendly staffs.
Bad: room was not ready even though after check-in time.
There were mould on the ceiling which we didn't complain because we were there just for 2 nights.
Bathroom in our room has a very small sink which we find it so hard to brush our teeth as right on top of the sink is that piece of glass for toothbrush and stuffs.
There's only a small partition in the shower area. Whenever we shower, the bathroom is flooded.
Breakfast was very limited.
Only one card was given even though we requested for two which made it inconvenient for us.

We had a lovely stay here, the hotel manager Sanar was very accommodating and helpful. Our breakfast was amazing, lots of variety. Nigora, the chef makes a delicious pshe(fried bread) and was kind enough to share her recipe with mum! Vefa in the restaurant was also very helpful and kind. Overall an amazing stay with great service and very lovely staff, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the city centre of Istanbul!!! Thank you Beyazit palace!! All the way from Australia, Sydney.

I cannot recommend this hotel. It is not clean, it is noisy (you could hear every single guest around your room), the amenities are broken or in a very bad condition, the breakfast is not worth for the price you paid… Try to avoid it at all costs. Even the cooks smoke inside the kitchen 🤦🏻♂️

I traveled with my wife this time without our children. Beyazit Palace Hotel is a small, decent hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re traveling with kids.
The hotel is quite worn down, the breakfast was very basic, and the coffee tasted terrible. However, what bothered me the most was the extremely rude attitude of the hotel manager when speaking to guests.
For example, I had the impression that my room booking was for a larger room than the one I received. When I brought this up, the manager responded with, “Do you know how much you paid?”—implying that I got a good deal and should be satisfied with what I got.
Another day, the faucet broke, and I couldn’t turn off the water because, as mentioned earlier, the hotel was in poor condition. The first thing the manager said to me was, “Why did you break it?”
The hotel claims to have four stars, but in reality, it’s not worth more than two at best.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient, just behind double tree. Hotel is very clean.

Had an amazing time at the hotel. Location is very good and literally few minutes walk from the metro or the tram. All shops close by and the staff are also good.

We stayed at the hotel from November 8 to 13. We really liked the location, the hotel is in a dead end, but at the same time 2 minutes from the main street with a tram and 5 minutes from the metro. The main attractions are within walking distance, exchange offices with a good rate are also nearby. The staff is open, always ready to help solve problems. Cleaning every day, no complaints. The breakfast is quite varied and tasty, but without luxury. The rooms are neat, not run-down. Of the minuses, the exhaust fan did not work well, we had to ventilate through the window and there was not enough main light at night.
