Movenpick Hotel Istanbul Asia Airport

The service is pathetic. We have to call them to get the room cleaned even then it takes them 4-5 calls over the period of 2-3 hrs to come to clean. The evening menu is closed before the time mentioned in the menu. As a customer how am i supposed to know what time to order other than the time written on the menu. Not many options for vegetarian. The staff is rude does not treat you with respect. Totally dissatisfied.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. This is a tourist trap. Everything is so high priced and the quality is just not there. Avoid buying the breakfast. A huge spread of nothing substantial. The rooms are equivalent to a motel 6. Really low quality expensive rooms 50 minutes away from the airport. Don't be fooled.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!!!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The behavior of the reception staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I called reception three times within an hour to request water, but even after waiting an hour, it never arrived.

The next day, I called again asking for water, only to be told that I needed to pay for it—between 3 to 5 euros! Unbelievable! How can a 5-star hotel charge guests for something as basic as water? They explained that water is only free until 3 PM, and after that, you have to pay. Seriously? I leave the hotel at 8 AM and return around 4 PM—how am I supposed to order water before 3 PM?

The service was overall terrible. As a woman carrying heavy shopping bags, I entered the hotel while several staff members just stood there watching me without offering any help or even asking if I needed assistance.

This hotel does not deserve its 5-star rating. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for quality service or even basic hospitality.

Good location.
Staff is very cold, very close to rudeness.
Uncomfortable bed. It seems to be a bit short.
Breakfast - I would say it is poor for Mövenpick standard. It seems it offers wide choice, but you realise you do not have much choice.
They have crushed nuts - It crushed close to dust, make no sense.
I witnessed one lady wanted to take with her glass of juice from the breakfast area, and she was attacked by staff nasty way...
I understand that food should not be taken from breakfast, but most hotels tolerate it to some extent.
I would not stay again in this hotel unless staff behavior improves.
