Have nothing bad to say! Recommend
We have stayed at this hotel and had an bad experience from day 1st to end. So i wrote a review about our experience but hotel reservation manager threatens us to delete the comment. Here are the proofs and email that he sent us. So once again, this hotel is the one that you would like to stay.
I want to book walk in and reserve, the night reception what so ever i forget his name keeps on telling call morning check with reservation check with reservation i mean seriously you have the whole system infront you and you are so lazy to tell me the rates which is this year.I have booking.com i can book without even calling reservations, I called your hotel just wanted to book directly in case i get lesser rates.
I dont want to drop 0 star because its not hotels fault its an awesome brand i blame the manager because he didnt trained his staff well.
It was at the end of 6 weeks traveling through Africa and was meant to be luxury stop. The request for a high level room was ignored - level 6 so slept to the sound of cars. Room was in dire need of an update, as was the wifi - the only hotel we have stayed in where the quality was so poor we could not use it for a video call. To top it off, when we were checking out they insisted on checking our room - not that there was a mini bar or anything worth taking. Sorry big disappointed for a big name hotel

The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, offering a wide range of options to suit every palate. Overall, my experience at Carlton Downtown was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai
