It seems like the employees here don’t have proper work–life balance. Even the management appears to struggle with scheduling because I saw some staff working extremely long hours. One employee was working a late shift in the afternoon like until 12am, and then I saw the same person again early in the morning still on duty until the afternoon.
It’s honestly sad to see. I am feeling their exhaustion deep inside, and it felt like they were working almost 24 hours straight. As a guest, this is hard to witness and raises questions about staff well-being and overall management.
I hope the hotel can address this, because the team deserves better and a happy, rested staff always reflects in the guest experience.
Additionally, there was trash in the bathroom trash can when I arrived which makes me question overall hotel cleanliness. I think the girl that opened the room door had been staying here and I surprised her by being here.
This was not my first time staying at this hotel, but will be my last. Holiday Inn and Sheraton nearby are better options in this area. I travel frequently internationally for business and have never had this happen in all eight years of work travel. I had higher expectations for Marriott.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The team offered excellent hospitality throughout our stay. The location is also perfect—just a short 5-minute walk from the Mall of the Emirates, in a safe and secure area. We were pleasantly surprised with a birthday cake for the special occasion, which made the experience even more memorable.

The property itself is very convenient to Mall of the Emirates -- only about five minutes walk.
Breakfast was great, and reasonably priced. This place is run like very Courtyard should be run.
1. Room service notified me one day that I left some cash on table and hence they are not allowed to enter/clean. Kind of feels safe to leave valuables back in room
2. Breakfast was best.
3. Ravinder was one of staff at breakfast. He remembers my style of coffee and makes from fresh brew everyday the moment he sees me at breakfast table. Giving this level of detailed service with so many guests staying is exceeding expectations
The only downside is location. It’s easy to leave the hotel but to reach the location by car you have to go around a bit in traffic
