Paramount Hotel Midtown

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, but unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. We were placed in a room next to two young guests, and it was incredibly noisy. The layout of the hotel is poorly thought out — young guests should have been grouped together on one floor, rather than disrupting other guests, especially those on special occasions like ours.

After two nights of being woken up at midnight by noise, we were moved to another room. However, there was no upgrade or apology, which was disappointing given it was our honeymoon. While we had a few quiet nights after the move, the last two days were again ruined by the noise. The rooms next to us were filled with young guests (18-25 years old), who gathered in the hallway at night, causing disturbances until 3 AM and even knocking on doors. We called the lobby, and security was sent, but the damage had already been done. We weren't given the option to change floors to avoid the noise, which would have been a reasonable solution.

At checkout, we were given a brief apology and told that we would receive compensation for a future stay — but we won’t be returning.

The rooms were also very noisy. Even though we were on the 23rd floor, we could hear cars and traffic outside.

On the positive side, the sky pool was beautiful, but it was disappointing to find there were very few sunbeds. You had to be there by 8 AM to get a spot.

Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t match the selection.

Overall, while the hotel has potential, the lack of attention to guest comfort and poor room arrangements ruined what should have been a relaxing and special honeymoon.
