Jannah Marina Hotel Apartments in Dubai

The only words I have is WOW to TUI for using this hotel. In all the holiday I’ve had over the last 20 years I’ve never been so miss sold, I reviewed the descriptions and pictures on line before booking this hotel through TUI, but I missed the very small writing stating you might be put in their sister hotel and believe me you won’t find any pictures of that on the TUI website. The rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are disgusting, the shower just drips water and it’s difficult to get any heat out of it. This was reported to reception they said they couldn’t assist. You walk to the sister hotel for breakfast and evening meal, but we only visited once due to the food being horrible and cold, but the worse factor being one of the chefs coughing up phlegm several times, So half board was paid for and not used. The one good thing I can say is it’s a very close walk to the marina, but apart from that DON NOT USE IT, unless you are promised you will not get put in their sister hotel. The mosque is also next door and they call for prayer due in the day and early hours which wakes you up every morning. Also if you’re in the sister hotel which I will put a picture within the review you have to walk to the other hotel for the pool, gym, food etc. Checking the hotel online now, it would appear it has been removed from the TUI website.

Pathetic, I wish I could give zero star. The pictures posted for the promotion of the hotel is maybe a decade ago.
Very bad experience in non seasonal time(July month), I cannot believe how they manage when it’s the time for significant influx of tourists.
We were allotted two rooms, room number-202 and 204.
Bathrooms were extreme dirty, sofa, carpets and blinds everything dirty. No dental kit/toiletry in the rooms. View from the room was not too good.
Next morning I took shower and came outside the bathroom, room and kitchen flooded with water because of poor drainage conditions. Telephone inside the room was broken. We had to go to the reception to inform them about the mess.
I received a call after half an hour in my other room saying, mam now everything is fine you can move to your room. Still it was all water inside the room, staff on reception with “WE DONT CARE ATTITUDE” refused to change the room and spoiled golden hours of the day. Note- only Location is good.
