I recently stayed at La Ville and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service at breakfast. The manager of Chival Team, went above and beyond to ensure every guest started their day on a positive note.
From the moment we entered the breakfast area, we were warmly greeted by Chival manger , who made us feel like valued guests. The attention to detail was impeccable—whether it was accommodating special dietary requests or simply ensuring our coffee cups were never empty, the manger and the team were always one step ahead.
What I appreciated most was the personalized touch. The Manager took the time to check in with each table, making sure everyone was enjoying their meal and addressing any needs with a genuine smile. This level of care and dedication truly sets this hotel apart from other luxury hotels.
The breakfast itself was a culinary delight, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. But it was the outstanding service, led by The manger, that made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend La Ville to anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury and exceptional hospitality.
Mr. Cidwell and Ms. Shaquilla warmly greeted us and made us feel welcome. Upon entering our room, I was delighted to find a surprise birthday setup with balloons and rose petals, which my daughter particularly enjoyed. Additionally, we were treated to delicious birthday cupcakes, making the celebration even more special.
On our last night, we requested a room with a view, and Mr. Cidwell and Ms. Shaquilla graciously accommodated us in a larger suite with a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa. On our final day, they surprised us with a fruit platter, a sweet gesture that added to our delightful experience.
Our stay at La Ville Hotel & Suites CITY WALK Dubai was truly memorable, filled with unforgettable moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. We look forward to visiting La Ville Hotel & Suites CITY WALK Dubai again on our next trip to Dubai.
Service at the restaurant for breakfast was very nice. Special mention to Elaine and Faisal, who were very charming and super attentive to the needs of my daughter and mother whom I was travelling with. Room service was prompt and housekeeping was impeccable.
Food was good- we tried grapeskin, chival and the in-house bakery and it was solid. Specially like the breakfast system where you order items of a menu, the food is fresh and it leads to less wastage.
The only reason I gave it four stars vs five is because I'm used to better treatment upon checkin at other Marriott Bonvoy properties due to my loyalty with the group. Understand there must have been full occupancy but didn't get an upgrade, welcome amenities etc. Even the fact that breakfast was complimentary required a rather awkward call.
Other than that, everything was lovely. Very charming hotel.
I came here many time and they have very professional and helpful staff in the hotel.
There is a restaurant Shival,they have very nice and fresh food and very cooperative waiters staff...

And all in all, it was a fantastic getaway! can’t wait to be back at La Ville during my next trip to Dubai ✨
While the restaurants’ staff is still usually helpful, the front desk staff has become very poor. They are uninformed, unconcerned, and impolite. And there’s no extra kindness, care, or hospitality for return guests. There has been a lot of turnover, so that could be one reason. But it’s also a sign of poor leadership and training. On top of that, even as a Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, there’s no recognition of the countless nights and significant dollars I spend with the hotel/Marriott. No one goes out of there way to help, and you’re often left waiting for rooms even when the hotel is not full or you’ve booked weeks in advance. And upgrades are not given, even to Ambassadors.
It’s so disappointing to witness good service now becoming a lost art. It’s disappearing from so many places, La Ville included. After all these days and all these stays, I wont be back.
The location, facilities and rooms were decent. But there are comparable options in the area. Most of the The electric outlets in the rooms did not work.
If you have any type of Marriott status, expect to receive sub par treatment at the hotel.
I booked 2 rooms for me and my parents over Christmas. They were adamant with sticking with all their charge policies including charging my parents for breakfast upon check in.
Both me and my parents checked out before being able to avail breakfast. One member of staff tried to show compassion, but the other staff ADDED back charges that were taken off. The service and restaurant staff were nice with one exception.
I have given over $150 USD in tips and even a Christmas dessert to the restaurant staff. Despite this, I was still shafted. It’s not about the $$, I spend over $20k annually at Marriott properties, it’s about service.
In all my years of Marriott stays, I’ve never had worse treatment than LaVille. And I’ve stayed at over 20 hotels over the past 20 years in Dubai. It was truly humiliating.
I travel a lot and am a Marriott Gold Memner.
They upgraded my room to a suite, however this only had one bed. Initially they told me it would have a fold out bed. It did not.
I requested to be downgraded back to the room I requested, they said it was not available.
They sent an extra mattress, which was of extremely poor quality. This resulted in me having back problems, getting a muscle spasm in my neck and having a low grade fever for 5 days.
This completely ruined my trip.
Unfortunately as a VEGAN guest, I had no option in the dine in menu and no support from the management to create something specially for me since I’m staying for many days and many times.
I hope that the General Manager can do something about this as we have requested many times at the Front desk and restaurant. There was no communication from anyone.
