We had a wonderful experience at Roda Beach Resort. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the beach and crystal-clear waters. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Rehaman from Housekeeping was very friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The dining options were diverse and delicious, enhancing our overall experience. I highly recommend Roda Beach Resort for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

I’ve always had a soft spot for Roda Beach Hotel. The beach is lovely, the team is usually kind, and the café has been my little escape - a place to read a book, sip on a fresh juice, and enjoy the day. I’ve been coming here regularly, not as a hotel guest, but as someone who lives nearby and genuinely appreciates the atmosphere. But today… something happened that I still can’t quite believe. It was an exceptionally hot day - nearly 50 degrees. After a swim, I felt lightheaded, dizzy, almost fainting. I hadn’t brought water with me and I knew from previous visits that there’s a small gym inside the hotel entrance near the beach. It’s usually empty, and I knew they had a water cooler inside. I stepped in, greeted the watchman Vincent, and quietly walked toward the water. Before I could even lift the cup, he started muttering something - that I wasn’t allowed to drink there, that I should go to the café. I tried to explain, but I was barely able to speak. I just needed one small sip of water. I took half a cup, turned to leave, but he started yelling. Demanding my room number. Telling me to leave immediately. Treating me as if I were doing something disgraceful - for drinking a sip of water while nearly collapsing from heatstroke. I left the gym immediately - I understand, sports attire only. But the situation was not about gym rules. It was about basic human decency. Instead of asking, “Ma’am, are you okay?” or offering help, he escalated. He ran after me. Called security. He wanted to get rid of me for drinking water. Just water. The irony? Just minutes later, once I felt a little steadier, I returned to the reception to donate a book to their guest library - something I do often, bringing in books for guests to enjoy. Even as I was doing that small act of goodwill, he was still calling security. Still harassing me. It was humiliating. It was heartbreaking. One man’s aggressive behavior shattered the kindness I’ve come to associate with this place. What should have been a moment of human empathy turned into something deeply upsetting. To the management: I truly hope this isn’t the culture you’re trying to foster. I hope no other woman - guest or visitor - ever finds herself in my shoes: overheated, dizzy, just needing a sip of water… and instead being chased, shouted at, and treated like a criminal. Please retrain your staff. And please remind them: compassion costs nothing. But the lack of it? It costs loyalty, trust, and a little piece of someone’s peace. - A regular visitor, heartbroken.

My best experience so far compared to what I have been to many other places. The staffs were so welcoming and pleasant, the reception was available for assistance throughout my stay special shoutout to Fahadi/Samah/Raha for the exceptional customer service. The food was amazing very much a family environment and easy access to the airport. Hopefully to come back soon.

Staff are ok and nice looking resort from the outside, but one very very big negative, the first half of the complex which is the front section over looking the beach is horrible, spent 2 nights in a ground floor beach access room, but it actually is right on top of a public car park and all you will hear until the early hours of the morning are large noisy cars driving around in circles, some playing music, most revving their car engines, and most beeping their car horns at each other, it’s like a car convention, loud conversations from the drivers. I Wasn’t able to sleep until 1:30am the first night and only feel asleep in the end because I was exhausted from 24hrs of travelling, and it’s nearly midnight tonight and it’s night number 2 of very annoying cars and noise. No warning of this when checking in, would have been nice to be asked if you prefer a quiet room or a room where you’ll be kept awake half the night. Very disappointing, you wouldn’t want one of these rooms if you have kids or troubling sleeping through noise. Plus the gate giving you access to the beach side of the complex is actually locked, no doubt to prevent anyone from the public car park walking into your private space. For this reason I wouldn’t stay here again, it’s just not worth it, having your peace disturbed. It’s a shame really, I think staff should warn you about this at checking, but obviously they are not going to do that. Glad it wasn’t a longer stay that I booked, I’m moving over to the Palm.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Majestic Villa, Roda Beach Resort on Jun 13 - 15 2025. The place, the food, and the staff— especially Samah, Sanawar, and May—were all amazing. We had a sumptuous breakfast buffet and experienced excellent service throughout. This resort is highly recommended, especially for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Roda Beach Resort for the outstanding service we received during our stay. It was truly an exceptional experience.

I highly recommend this hotel – the villas are incredibly beautiful and offer stunning sea views, making it a perfect choice for families. All the food served is halal, and the breakfast is varied and caters to all tastes. The chefs were very helpful and welcoming.

Having breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant with a view of the sea was simply wonderful and memorable.

Great location for those looking to be close to the beach, with great value for money. The service we received was excellent, all of the staff were incredibly service-minded and kind. The resort itself is clean and proper but would benefit from a bit of a refresh in terms of style. The rooms are large and clean (thank you to our cleaners Rahaman and colleagues). The beach front rooms on the first floor offer great views of the beach and ocean but for those sensitive to noise, it’s worth noting that it can be a bit noisy at night as people gather on the beach and parking.
