Reviews
Food was okay most nights different every night, service was great and most of the staff had smiles all round a few you could tell was just a job to them others really made an effort. Fridge items wasn't kept in fridges or cool places so salad got hot and sweaty but kids always had nuggets and chips to choose from.
Rooms were cleaned everyday and the house cleaning lady's were so lovely and always made an effort to clean your room. Never once had a problem with them.
This is definitely more of a family hotel to take kids too as the entertainment was more on a kids level. Also has use of the water park across the road for free due to be all-inclusive.
We tried booking again for next year but unfortunately they don't have room for 2 adults with 3 kids only 2 adults and 2 kids no other option so unfortunately we have booked a different hotel for 2025.
The beach was less the 3 minutes away, 2 decent locals shops ran by some lovely locals.
20 minutes from the strip and there is also water sports 10 minutes away located on the beach.
Gym was located in the main hotel with indoor pool and showers but unfortunately no music so took my speaker down.
Was a great holiday and over all had the best time.
It was 1am and dark so I went straight to bed- no pillowcases?? But hey, things are always better when you’ve had some sleep and breakfast.
Breakfast was average at best. The staff did their job but nothing more, and the lads working breakfast didn’t do much to make a solo female traveller feel comfortable. At 4*, I expected to at least see the chef and doing the eggs etc- nothing.
Pool is stunning. 15min flat walk to the beach. Plenty of shops for inflatables and coffee etc. Water park next door which you can use for free which looked AWESOME. 6 year old me would have been there everyday!
My room had no hot water when I returned to my room, and the water pressure wasn’t great- see video below. It also wasn’t the cleanest- sink had black bits coming out the tap, and paint on the table and floor.
Maintenance came to fix my shower, and I was told “tomorrow, tomorrow”. It wasn’t warm or fixed.
I attempted one teams meeting on the WiFi and no dice so had decided that I would be leaving tomorrow.
I went to bed- and mini disco started. Now I love baby shark as much as the next person, and it’s worth mentioning that the animation team have the patience of saints, and need to be rewarded massively. But at 10pm when you can still hear the thumping bass after 2 brandy sours- is not okay.
I informed reception of all of my problems at 2220 and then contacted my tour operator- I was offered another room in another resort. The reviews for these speak for themselves-and I was done. I was told to wait until the head of reception arrived at 10am the next day to complain and request a refund.
At 10am the next morning I spoke to the head of reception who was mortified, and tried everything to make me stay. She explained that they were unable to refund me as my tour operator had my money. I have contacted them and a refund investigation is ongoing.
In summary- if you have young children who eat chicken nuggets, chips, buttery pasta and want ice-cream and pop in the sunshine with an amazing pool and waterpark for a great price come here, you’ll get a bargain- just maybe bring towels and bedsheets if you’re a bit of a cleanliness enthusiast. If you’re a couple, solo travelling, child-free. AVOID.
We stayed here end of season in October 2023. We had never been to Cyprus before and the price was so so reasonable we thought we would give it a try.
We where extremely surprised at how good the weather was 28/32 every day, absolutely perfect. The hotel wasn't massively busy due to time of year so no problems getting sunbeds. The hotel itself is really clean, as are the rooms which are cleaned daily, with daily towel change. Drinks where potent!! Lol cocktail menu was vast and tasted lovely. Staff where great, worked efficiently with a smile. Angela at the pool bar was by far the best 👌 the food at the pool bar was lovely, chips, hotdogs, toasties, burgers, all lovely. The pools where great, nice and clean with plenty of room for the kids to splash about. Various entertainment going on during the day and eve. Not amazing, but not awful. You get unlimited access to the water park 5 min walk at a sister hotel.
The food was nice. My only gripe was there wasn't an awful lot of choice compared to other all inclusive places we have been, but there was always something we liked to eat and plenty of it so not really an issue.
The surrounding area was lovely, small beach at the bottom about 5 min walk, with sunbeds and beach bar. A few souvenir shops, quite a few restaurants and bars. karaoke and sports bar 2 min walk from hotel that serves food and has a takeaway kebab place joined onto it, kebabs are the best ones we have ever eaten! Fig tree bay is a short taxi ride away (£10Euro) about 10 mins. Lots of sunbeds, lovely clean beach with water sports, pedlos ect.
All in all a really lovely holiday, so much so we have booked to go back already and are very much looking forward to visiting again! 😀
Angela at the snack bar is just lovely, so welcoming.
Rooms are a little tired and could do with updating, but overall just what we needed.
Pool is fantastic, we came late September and there was no fighting for sunbeds, and was just a lovely atmosphere.
The Entertainment however very poor, most unenthusiastic entertainers. Dint count on being able to sit and enjoy a night of entertainment as there standard isn't very High.
Location - it's a couple of min drive to the main protatas strip and there is loads of restaurants bars and shops or you can walk down the board walk at Potami beach and will take 25 muns but a lovely walk
Reception team were great Howard gave us a very warm welcome. George on the bar makes the best G&Ts
Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend for a quiet but enjoyable stay.
