4 stars for location because the exciting parts of the city are easily accessible by frequent bus that stops nearby, and the area is appropriately safe, accessible, and convenient for those with cars (who can find free street parking nearby, often a challenge in Hamburg). But you will need that bus, as the neighborhood does not itself have exciting things or restaurants. I've stayed several times...

Just an average hotel. The rooms were very warm. We tried to adjust the air conditioner but it only went so far. Otherwise, most of the amenities of the hotel were closed for the day. Front staff was helpful. The location is very good if you were taking a cruise

Overall a great experience, we went there as group of six friends and booked two premium triple room. Rooms were great for the money we paid. It was big and spacious. Breakfast was great as well, we loved the spread. It was healthy as well covering wide varieties of eggs and museli. Only downside was that A/C was not cooling the room as expected. The check-in and check out process was insanely slow which left me irritated on arrival and depparture. Half an hour for each. The fitness room did not meet my expecxtations for a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was ok, but i expected more. The view is what you pay for in this hotel. Rooms held i high standard, i only hoped the rest of the hotel held the same standard. I will not come back.

The rooms are great. A lot of bronze and carpet but extremely clean, a lot of plugs, plenty of space in the shower and excellent WiFi. Unfortunately I couldn't give the breakfast or restaurant a try but they looked great!

We loved our stay at the Grand Elysée. Our room was spacious, the restaurants and bars were really good, and the staff was so kind to us and our three-year-old daughter. We couldn't have been happier with our time in Hamburg and a big part of the reason the trip was such a success was everyone at the Grand Elysée making us feel right at home. We'll be back!

I rated this hotel only 3 stars because one of the main reasons I chose the Grand Elysee Hotel was their laundry service. However, I was shocked when I saw the prices: they charged separately for every single item, and it was extremely expensive. All we needed was to have our basic laundry washed and dried. I could understand if it was for dry cleaning, but charging 4 euros for sports socks was unbelievable

The apartment exceeded our expectations in every regard. Perfectly located near to the airport were I work. All staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Easy check in process. They were very accommodative for short notice extension despite being fully booked. Apartment was clean, cozy and with new modern furniture. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning!

I needed a comfortable room to relax the night before a heavy day of work. I was given a wonderful room (I call it apartment for its size) witj a kitchen complete of everything, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dish washer, etc. A comfortable sofa, with 32in led tv, a bedroom and in bedroom toilette. Everything amazing, couldn't ask more! I've enjoyed my time at the hotel. Thank you!

My stay at the hotel was pleasant in most aspects, however, the noise isolation was exceptionally poor. I was privy to every little sound from the room next door, from showering and toilet flushing to even their conversations and television. I went to drop my bag at morning. They checked quick if the room would have be cleaned up. Unfortunately it had not, but they let me check in and gave me a card key. I came the hotel around 23 in the night, and my bag stood in my room.

We had a wonderful 1 night stay at the Scandic Emporio when we were visiting from Canada for the Taylor Swift concert. This is a perfectly practical Hotel, a bit off the beaten track, but only a 15-20 min walk from the more central places o f Hamburg. The quarrell you migh have is that the aircondition was sub par, particularly considering the hot days/evenings of July. Breakfast was good, but crazy crowdy after 9 (first day), but almost empty pre-8.

Huge mistake. We choose this place with friends to spend couple nights during Euro2024. Unfortunately it was a huge mistake. The bed is comfortable - that’s all of the pros list. No kettle to make coffee or tea in hotel room, even not a free bottle of water! You can choose water from minibar for 5€. Coffee in the lobby at 12:00? It's located around 30 minutes away with public transportation from the city center. The hotel was very clean and neat. Although the room was small, they provided a wardrobe to store our belongings, a television, a safe box, and a small fridge filled with drinks. You also don't need to bring towels because they provide them.

Very quiet stay. Ok breakfast. Nice room with construction flaws and weird additions.

Nice location, the central station is just a few hundred meters away. But still quiet. Friendly staff, which spoke great English. The only thing that was not satisfying was the breakfast.

It was ok. The room was tiny, the bed was fine and I've always hit my elbows in the showers cause it was so narrow

Good ambience, near to railway station (hauptbahnhof) satisfactory service. Clean rooms, clean toilets and good maintenance most importantly very hygienic.

Clean and calm. Takes time to get to hauptbahnhof, if the buses aren’t on time you will get annoyed! Recommend to people who want to spend most the day in city center.

clean, rooms are not the biggest but enough, staff are helpful, city center and Hauptbahnhof are only one bus ride away, bus stop is 200m away, there's a kiosk around the corner, you'd easily find a place to park the car for free all in all a good deal for the price

Room was clear, the bed and pillows were good. The bathroom was clean as well. It takes 15 min by bus to get the city center. I recomend as a stay for tourists, who spends all day in the city.

Great hotel in the city centre. Comfortable beds, awesome service at reception and breakfast was decent. Free parking on the street depending on times etc. Good hotel all round. In a nut shell parking, decent bed, and a good shower.

Close to the airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfy and bathrooms are very spacious.

This was a nice place to stay! It is a bit far from the city center and restaurants, so you will need to spend money on transportation when booking here. The breakfast selection was nice and honestly you could get full off of what was offered so it was nice to not have to spend money on breakfast! The staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had this heating element...

It is not so far from Airport if you are not elderly and fragile, service is quick and reasonable. Of course it is just 3 stars, so rooms is spacious enaugh, however can be a bit warmer (my wet dress remain wet up until morning) from other side it is not so high price for other benefits.

I STAYED ONE NIGHT THE PLACE WAS WELCOMING AND FUNCTIONAL. I liked it. I RECOMMEND IT TO THOSE WHO ARE TRAVELING.

It's ok. Small rooms, not on perfect condition but acceptable. Breakfast buffet is a good start for the day. Tho I must mention... very low quality toilet paper, maybe you wanna bring your own of you're staying longer. They give little bags of shampoo/duschgel and rooms include a "Wasserkocher" with tea, sugar, and instant coffee. Not much else worth mentioning.
