The hotel building is very majestic from the outside with a beautiful view of the river. The room is very cozy and beautiful, windows to the floor. The windows overlook the city. On the 20th floor there is an excellent bar - cocktails and music, night Hamburg is super!!!!

Really excellent hotel. Most of all helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. I needed some help locating and storing some deliveries for a large trade fair and they were as helpful as could. Rooms are spacious and clean and the restaurant and the bar on the 20th floor are both excellent. Breakfast is expansive and will set you up for the day.

4 stars for location because the exciting parts of the city are easily accessible by frequent bus that stops nearby, and the area is appropriately safe, accessible, and convenient for those with cars (who can find free street parking nearby, often a challenge in Hamburg). Just an average hotel. The rooms were very warm. We tried to adjust the air conditioner but it only went so far. Otherwise, most of the amenities of the hotel were closed for the day. Front staff was helpful. The location is very good if you were taking a cruise

Overall a great experience, we went there as group of six friends and booked two premium triple room. Rooms were great for the money we paid. It was big and spacious. Breakfast was great as well, we loved the spread. It was healthy as well covering wide varieties of eggs and museli. Only downside was that A/C was not cooling the room as expected. A family friendly hotel with a nice architecture in a quiet area. There’s a short walking distance to the center. The staff are friendly, but compared to the number of rooms and guests, theres too little staff at the service desk, so you usually would end up waiting in line for any inquiries.

The rooms are great. A lot of bronze and carpet but extremely clean, a lot of plugs, plenty of space in the shower and excellent WiFi. Unfortunately I couldn't give the breakfast or restaurant a try but they looked great!

We loved our stay at the Grand Elysée. Our room was spacious, the restaurants and bars were really good, and the staff was so kind to us and our three-year-old daughter. We couldn't have been happier with our time in Hamburg and a big part of the reason the trip was such a success was everyone at the Grand Elysée making us feel right at home. We'll be back!

I rated this hotel only 3 stars because one of the main reasons I chose the Grand Elysee Hotel was their laundry service. However, I was shocked when I saw the prices: they charged separately for every single item, and it was extremely expensive. All we needed was to have our basic laundry washed and dried. I could understand if it was for dry cleaning, but charging 4 euros for sports socks was unbelievable

My Aunt Susan and I just spent several days at the centrally located Reichshof Hotel. The inside of the hotel is beautiful (dating back to 1910), and the staff is exceedingly professional and helpful. The director, Kathrin, brings in delicious locally grown products; and Emil's Café, with its charming waiters (outstanding among whom is the endearing Kay), adds life and flavor to the hotel.

Good size room with plenty of space for a double sofa bed as well as a king which are either side of a partition. The TV is in the partition and swivels around so can face either bed. The hotel is generally OK but unfortunately they are happy to take a deposit upon check-in, which they do not return without intervention. I had to intervene twice to get the deposit back. The money was returned two weeks after the collection. I did not expect such practices in the Marriott chain. A small thing and I do not want to return.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant in most aspects, however, the noise isolation was exceptionally poor. I was privy to every little sound from the room next door, from showering and toilet flushing to even their conversations and television. I believe a 5-star hotel should prioritize a peaceful and quiet environment for its guests, which was unfortunately lacking in this instance.

While the rooms we had were very nice, and extremely spacious, but make sure you have the outward facing ones, as the view to the inside isn't great. But their service is amazing. I attended a concert, purchased a vinyl and forget it in the room. They were super kind and sent it to me via post, packaged extremely well and I received it without any damage.

I had a day stay in the hotel for a congress. The view from the "Elbkuppel" meeting room is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lunch buffet was good. Only the lack of a possibility to order a beer or wine on own expenses during the paid official lunch was a bit disappointing. The room smelled like sewage and the vent in the bathroom did not work. It got incrementally worse so we had to change rooms. Housekeeping knocked loudly at 8 am continuously for a long while despite telling them to come back. They left and then came back again at 10 and just walked in without knocking. Interior decor is warm and welcoming however the bar is on a lower level than the overall service and management should hire a bit more staff because they’re often overwhelmed but it’s recommended for a couple of nights and the area is relatively calm.

Standard of rooms as expected in a four-star hotel. Very good breakfast with variety of food. The staff helpful and nice. The free of charge gym and parking (next to the hotel) is a big advantage. Very convinient location - in the neighborhood access to the buses to the city center, Altona and DESY (Volkspark).

Super friendly and helpful service. Good, clean hotel and comfy beds. Only thing that didn't work for us when we stayed in July was aircon/fan, but were offered a portable alternative.

We had a great stay at the Renaissance Hotel Hamburg. The comfort and service quality of the hotel were excellent. I would especially like to thank Ahmet, one of the front desk staff members. Nice spacious clean hotel. It is close to the U Bahn for easy access to downtown Hamburg. The rooms were very quiet even with a railway outside the window. There is an Aldi close by if you need some extra snacks.

The stay at the JUFA hotel was lovely. We only stayed one night, but the room was lovely, and our dog got treated with nice bed, bowl and some treats. The hotel also has parking available which we took advantage of.

Lovely, friendly modern hotel. Some early teething problems, but never mind. Blue sink light takes some getting used too and personally I like a bath tub, not just a shower.
