Pickalbatros Palace Hotel

This hotel was recommended by a friend from a local hostel because the price was much cheaper than the hotels I booked in Cairo and Luxor, 1,200 RMB for 3 people a day, including three meals and a water park, but Ctrip had a lot of bad reviews, and in the end, because I couldn't refund, I had to stay with the mentality of opening a blind box. 1. Five-star entertainment activities. This is a local Egyptian group, with a large number of different names but all from the same group. This hotel palace is connected to the water park next door, and the beach, restaurant, and water park can all be shared. Because the resort is very large, there are many activities. You can play in the water park, go snorkeling in the sea, participate in beach activities including yoga, Zumba, and volleyball. There are activities and performances in the atrium every night starting at 8:00. Not to mention the quality of the performance, but because the hotel has a large flow of people, the activities are very full, suitable for going out to play as soon as you open your eyes.
2. Four-star dining, the hotel has many restaurants, which are also very large. There are 4 meals a day, and you can drink and eat snacks even if you are not eating at mealtime. The reviews say that the seafood restaurant cannot be booked, which is particularly incomprehensible. Personally, I think, there are so many buffet restaurants, why do you have to book the seafood restaurant, what can you do. The restaurant is especially suitable for the elderly and children, very friendly, with all kinds of food, upstairs and downstairs can be eaten, children can run and play after eating, and can come back to get food. The key is that you can continue to eat while waiting in the hotel after checking out. This hotel is really generous in this project.
3. Three-star accommodation conditions, the accommodation conditions are really not good, just the accommodation level of domestic farmhouses, the rooms are small, the facilities are old, the drainage is not good, and the toilet facilities are very old. The solution is to treat housekeeping enthusiastically, give 50-100 Egyptian pounds a day tip, he will help you dredge the drainage, and give you relatively new sheets and towels. Extra beds are free, but if you are over the age of staying, you have to pay extra, probably to pay for meals.
4. Finally, let's talk about the discrimination against Chinese people mentioned in the negative reviews. I stayed for 3 days and didn't encounter this problem. I felt it was okay. The hotel has a very large flow of customers. European elderly groups come in large groups every day, and young people also come in families. I think a large number of people are from Russia and Ukraine. In addition, most of them are elderly people, and they are very friendly to Chinese people.
ALL IN ALL, if you bring your family, you can choose it. If you are on a honeymoon or like to pose for photos, it is not recommended, because this is an affordable and affordable super large resort.

During our stay, there were several aspects that we truly enjoyed. The check-in experience was smooth and welcoming, thanks to Asem, who took great care of us from the start. While waiting for our room key, we were offered a refreshing and flavorful welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The hotel's amenities, such as the pools and rides, were fantastic and provided plenty of entertainment options. We also appreciated the diverse dining options, with seafood, Moroccan, and Indian restaurants offering fantastic cuisine. All the staff members were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking sunrise we enjoyed every morning from the beautiful beach. The beach was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. We loved the opportunity to go snorkeling, where we explored small coral reefs and saw colorful sea species up close, making it a memorable experience.

However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. . The main buffet restaurant was often overcrowded, making it challenging to enjoy meals comfortably. We also experienced a water leakage issue with the AC in our room, which should be addressed promptly.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent amenities and dining options, though there are some areas that could be improved.

A great hotel with performances and a joyful holiday atmosphere. The hotel is large and crowded. The interior decoration is relatively new. It is connected to the hotel next door and has many amusement facilities. There are two restaurants that require reservations. You need to use a code to make reservations in advance on your phone. Remember to ask the front desk for your code after checking in.

Our stay was simply amazing! The staff were friendly, the food was great, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. As a Dutch person we can drink the icecubes which is great! And there's enough sunbeds everywhere so no fighting for a spot at any point of the day. The staff is very friendly and hardworking, if there's anything you need they'll get it!
