Pickalbatros Palace Resort - Hurghada in Hurghada

The staff was very friendly and not pushy. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner very much, as the chefs and service staff were very friendly.
The Seafood dinner was very disappointing, as the starters were served frozen at the bottom (too long in the chiller). The rest of the meal was also not as good as in the other Restaurants. The atmosphere in this restaurant is rather "cold" and unfriendly.
Reception was very helpful and the room service staff managed the leaking water from the ceiling in our bathroom very well, which made this problem much smaller than it was. They even paid some attention to my birthday.
We will not use the Spa in the Hotel if we come again, because more was promised during the pushy "sales talk" as delivered. On the follow-up treatment a few days before departure (as the treatment was paid in advance) we got a short facial treatment. After that I got a shave and a haircut. The lady who did the facial treatment of my wife was not interested at all to take further care of her after that. Instead she was offered a chair in the hairdresser shop to sit next to me to watch me get a shave and a haircut. She could have easily painter the nails of my wife and everybody would have been happy. Such kind of service can easily change your guests opinion about your hotel.

I spent one week there with my 4 year old daughter. We both enjoyed it very much. The rooms are very comfy all the hotel is beautyful and spacious. the food is delicious, its something there for all tastes. The pool for children is very nice and also the orher pools are great. The stuff - all the people who are working there- are totaly nice attentive and helpful! I can definitly recommend the hotel for people of all ages.

Wonderful Stay – Once Again!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic – it was already our second time here, and once again everything was perfect. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, very clean, and inviting. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times, which really made us feel welcome. You can notice that the resort is a bit older, but it is still very well cared for and charming.

If there is anything to mention for improvement, it would be the volleyball court. A better ball would be great, and improved lighting in the evening would make playing much easier. Additionally, the ground is quite hard – a bit more sand would make the experience much more comfortable.

Overall, a wonderful stay, and we will gladly come back again!

I stayed at Albatros Palace in Hurghada and was very satisfied with my experience! The hotel is simply wonderful – a spacious, well-maintained area with lots of greenery and beautiful places to walk around. The staff are attentive and always ready to help, offering truly excellent service. My room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was done every day . The food was great – a wide variety of dishes, all fresh and delicious. The sea is nearby, the water is crystal clear, and the beach is very convenient. This place is perfect for a relaxing and high-quality vacation, and I would definitely love to come back again!

This hotel was recommended by a friend from a local hostel because the price was much cheaper than the hotels I booked in Cairo and Luxor, 1,200 RMB for 3 people a day, including three meals and a water park, but Ctrip had a lot of bad reviews, and in the end, because I couldn't refund, I had to stay with the mentality of opening a blind box. Personally, I think, there are so many buffet restaurants, why do you have to book the seafood restaurant, what can you do. The restaurant is especially suitable for the elderly and children, very friendly, with all kinds of food, upstairs and downstairs can be eaten, children can run and play after eating, and can come back to get food. The key is that you can continue to eat while waiting in the hotel after checking out. This hotel is really generous in this project.
3. Three-star accommodation conditions, the accommodation conditions are really not good, just the accommodation level of domestic farmhouses, the rooms are small, the facilities are old, the drainage is not good, and the toilet facilities are very old. The solution is to treat housekeeping enthusiastically, give 50-100 Egyptian pounds a day tip, he will help you dredge the drainage, and give you relatively new sheets and towels. Extra beds are free, but if you are over the age of staying, you have to pay extra, probably to pay for meals.
