The hotel was built in refined Oriental style. The original design creates an atmosphere of Oriental tale. A high level of service, good location in the center of the boardwalk. A lot of tourists among Europeans. Recommended for respectable and families.

Location: 5 km from the airport of Hurghada, 10 km from the city centre, on the second line.
Consists of a main 5-storey building and two 5-storey buildings.
The hotel has 828 rooms.
Beach: sandy beach of the Grand Hotel. The length of the beach 900 m, Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for free. Beach towels (in-room) – free. The pool: umbrellas, chairs, mattresses, towels (in-room) – free of charge.

Overall, I highly recommend the hotel for the money.
Very friendly hotel staff everywhere.
I give a minus for the outdated and run-down bathroom and 1dcl glass on the bar, otherwise everything maintained.
We travelled as a couple and loved the facilities, and the wild range of choice for food at the buffet. We can't highlight enough how helpful and kind are all the teams of the hotel. Special thank to the housekeepers who took great care of us and of the room. We have been surprised that people were here to help without asking for any kind of tips, that made us even more happy to great them.
We always had a nice spot at the beach without to get up early to book it. Definitely a place I would recommend for relaxing holidays!

We both had a massage at the spa, but our experience were really different. While I have been disappointed by one of the worst massage of my life, my husband loved the massage and the attention he had, so I guess your experience there depends on the therapist you get.
The majority of the staff are there to try and sell you extras as opposed to helping with other requests. This includes food, drinks, massage, tattoos and much more. This meant sitting by the pool or beach we were continually pestered including waking us up or interrupting our conversation.
The hotel had very arbitrary rules on what could happen when and where without clear guidance, resulting in being told off by staff. A lot of the time it was for trying to order food which is another major issue with the hotel.
The all inclusive buffet was hit and miss on content but it unfortunately left both of us quite ill many times. It is fortunate that there are many pharmacies surrounding the hotel as they were able to provide pills to calm the effects of the food. We saw other guests discussing and sharing the pills at dinner. We went with 'antinal' which appeared to be the preferred choice for others staying there too.
The rooms were of good quality and very clean. Would have been 5 stars, except there was no hot water in the shower.
It would be an unfair review to not mention and thank the members of staff who were helpful and worked to make sure people enjoyed their stay. Cheers Meadow. They were just outnumbered by those, presumably at management's request, who were annoying guests to buy something.
The room cleaners do a really good job
We went to the beach only ONCE because it was annoying the waiters were trying to sell us cocktails every few minutes and not just one, at once there was 3 waiters around us... And the music was awful Balkan music on the beach.
We stayed at the pool mostly because it was quiet and relaxing, also the 2 waiters from the tutti frutti bar were always really kind :)
Staff were generally very good (particularly bar and pool side staff - tip and you'll get royal and immediate service). Excellent Indian restaurant (in fact I'd say the best in Hurghada) that offers some meals free as part of the all inclusive , is based next door. I always ordered additional from the regular menu and reasonable prices.
Why I only offer 2 stars, despite all the great points above? :- The issues the hotel Needs to sort out is the incessant harassment of staff trying to get you to have a a la carte (where you pay) meal in one of their many restaurants. Whilst sitting on one of the many cafe areas I was accosted 4 times in 30 minute! Too much - leave us alone.
I visited reception on 4 different mornings requesting that my room phone be fixed so that I could order room service. Each or these 4 requests was not acted upon - this is a major reason the hotel gets only 2stars. Unacceptable to spend a large amount of your time queuing and making a compliant nearly every morning about the same issue and then being totally ignored!!!
Electrics in my room were haywire. Turning off certain light switches also turned off certain wall sockets. Took me a while to figure out how to power my gadgets - I got there in the end but only by unplugging the fridge!!
Despite claiming that one of the large pools was chilled - it wasn't. Both big pools were 33c on the day I left. Having one cooler and chilled would have been great!
The pool areas lacked enough sun loungers and umbrellas. They have loads of extra space so to get in more would be quite simple!! By 7:00am all
Loungers were taken.

That aside I do recommend this hotel but it really needs to take guest request much more serious - and also have a system for follow through - they didn't and this let's down the hotels great potential.
