Amazing services. The front desk receptionist is really helpful. He tried to find our booking number and yes, we are in after 30 minutes of waiting. Not their fault, but the booking number was messed up by the online website. The hotel looks old but the room and bathroom are clean and neat. We are taking morning train, and the hotel pleasantly prepare packed breakfast for us. And they call a taxi to train station as well. Well done. Great experience after several days in busy city of Madrid.

I thought the people behind the front desk were great. Very polite and efficient. I will be back next time I visit Madrid. Its a lovely hotel near the city centre that is very reasonably priced.

We stayed in July 2019. I really liked the hotel. Quite convenient location (7 minutes to the station, 3 to the metro, 10 to Retiro Park). Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice room. Plus - the hotel has its own parking, which is not cheap, but in Madrid all parking lots are expensive.

Room with four single beds with tight walking space in between. This is no way a 4 star hotel. The staff at reception should learn to greet their guests with a smile. The WiFi sucks - it's the worst of all the hotels we've been to, and we've been to many around the globe - they changed the WiFi password without notice. Get your own data plan... you'll need it. Location is the only good thing about this place as it's located close to the train station.

Terrible Hotel.
Classed as 4 Star Hotel, I would rate at no more than 3 Star at a push.
1- Checking in, left waiting in lobby for long time waiting to check in, with large queue forming with others waiting to check in
( limited staff)
2- Internet, internet connection is the worst I have ever experienced in any hotel I have stayed in across the world, for a 4star hotel it is disgusting, signal fails constantly and I mean every couple of minuets it freezes and restart is needed, connection to the internet is gained by code a code that changes every 2 days and hotel does NOT make you aware of this.
3- Bathroom, taking a shower is a joke by the time you finish the shower the bathroom floor is totally flooded due to the poor shower screen being so small that all the water goes on to the floor.
4- Noise, there is no sound proofing in the rooms allowing you to hear everything that is going on in other rooms, even low talking from the next room can be heard and is very disturbing in the early hours.
I have stayed in many hotels and this is ranked as one of the worst. I would not recommend this hotel and I would never stay here again. I'm not being picky but for a 4star hotel it is disgusting.

I think some of the bad reviews are ridiculous. The location is amazing and staff is kind and courteous. Restaurant and breakfast is very good. Is it the Ritz? No, but if that’s what you expect, spend money to stay at that type of hotel, because it is available down the street for three or four times the price. However, after an overnight flight and being tired and jet lagged, they let me check in as soon as a room was available. If you need a taxi, it’s easy to get. If you do some research ahead of time, you can figure out public transport and a bus stops right in front of it.

Very nice hotel situated close to Atocha railway station. Asked for a quiet room as was coming off a long haul flight and was pleased to say they honoured this. Ideal place to stay in Madrid, walking distance to Plaza Mayor. Would definitely recommend

Hotel overall was decent. Hotel room can get quite hot at times and the walls are thin.It met all expectations for the price point.

Although the location is perfect, room and staff is good, it does absolutely not make up for the fact that the walls are paper thin. Therefore the hotel is not suitable for its primary purpose -sleeping.
You can hear everything, and here I do not mean anything extraordinary like party next door, but like talking, baby crying, walking even...
So all in all I would not stay here again.
