Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Only spent one night here but we were made to feel very welcome. The room was great for 4 adults and with a high standard of cleanliness. Great location with a bus taking you straight to the Plaza Mayor from just outside the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

The behavior of the hotel reception was very bad. No one helped to carry the luggage. There were no slippers in the room. There was no toothbrush. There was no kettle. Breakfast was poor. And worst of all was the cold and rude behavior of the reception.it is not even a 3 star hotel.

Great location, right outside the hotel you will find a bus station that will take you to Madrid’s downtown.
The rooms are pretty comfortable and you have all the necessary.
A lot of grocery stores nearby, and also restaurants.
Not that near from El Centro de Madrid, but you have the necessary near. And its a 20-30 minute ride in the bus to the popular area.

It is clean. No frills rooms. Location is outside of Madrid center. Easy to take 1 euro bus to main sections. Breakfast is good. Hot food, Many selections. Restaurants and mall near. Grocery next store. Hotel is Packed with tour buses. Staff are curt and bland. Hotel is Fine if saving $.

Good location, busy hotel. Breakfast is nothing wow even for a 4 stars, rooms were average. Service was disappointing as our flight home from Madrid was 6h30am & needed a taxi booked for 4am but the hotel couldn't be bothered to call & book for us the evening before, the stress was dumped on us to go out & call one near by at that time & if no taxi was there, they would only then call so nothing arranged. It's evident that the hotel is after the business more than the services quality.

Great value hotel with reasonable prices. Even though it is not in the centre, it is well connected. Right at the door there is a bus stop and it takes 20 or 25 minutes to get to the centre of Madrid (€1.50 for the ticket). Staff were friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would happily stay there again.

This hotel is very busy, coach loads of people coming and going.
Breakfast was heaving, couldn't move for people.
I wasn't allowed to bring my suitcase into the breakfast area. No real explanation but rudely told to take it out.
I hung the do not disturb sign on my door as I didn't want it cleaned. Had a note posted under my door as letting me know they tried to call me all day as they wanted to clean my room. Am I crazy in thinking that if you hang that sign on your door it's the universal signal to not go in? Why do they want to call me and ask to clean my room. I am never a fan of people coming into my room and making my bed while I'm not around.
Not big complaints for sure but certainly not a 5 star experience, hotel is fine but a few things that are a little off for me.

The room, Room 301, was well-appointed and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the room had all the amenities one could ask for, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing in Madrid.
However, there was one aspect that did affect the quality of my stay - the noise levels in the morning. The cleaning staff, while efficient and thorough, were quite noisy during their morning rounds. The noise was particularly noticeable in Room 301, where I was staying. The sound of cleaning equipment and chatter was quite disruptive, especially when I was trying to enjoy a few extra hours of sleep in the morning.
While I understand that cleanliness is a priority, I believe that a more quiet approach to cleaning, especially in the early morning hours, would greatly enhance the guest experience.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Praga was comfortable and enjoyable, but the noise from the cleaning staff in the morning was a bit of a drawback. I hope the hotel management takes note of this feedback and implements measures to ensure a quieter morning environment.

Centrally located in Madrid, this hotel is a great value. Modest rooms with a large dining room. Extremely friendly staff.

I came on a business trip, when I complained about the water (which was cold and low pressure) they didn’t do anything about it. When I complained about the dirty cups and desks, they didn’t do anything about it. And when I complained that they requested payment on check in instead of at the end on the business account (they refused to let me check into my room without it), they didn’t do anything. But they didn’t request it from my other 10+ colleagues. They make the rules as they go along. In fact, when I complained about anything, they shouted at me and were completely rude. In addition, the breakfast food was old and low quality.
I travel a lot and this is probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Do not recommend!
