Reviews
Unprofessional staff.
On top of this theft, the room wasn't cleaned properly - the sheets looked like they'd been rolled into a ball prior to being put on the bed and they were NOT changed. She was probably too busy stealing from me to change the sheets.
The noise is unacceptable - i got ZERO sleep both nights - the staff isn't very friendly and the hotel in general is dark and dingy. Save yourself and stay elsewhere.
Positives:
-Large, fairly comfortable bed.
-Nice shower.
-clean/didn't notice any hygiene issues.
-I had an issue and was helped out by a staff member named Sergio who was awesome and helped resolve the issue while being super friendly and helpful. (Thanks, Sergio.)
-Near the main road (1 block away) without being right on the main road was nice.
Negatives:
-The lobby area sort of smells like a freshly cleaned bathroom. Like, I guess it's good it smells clean, but not great that it smells sort of like a fragrant restroom (vs. not a restroom at all).
-The reviews about the sewage smells are definitely true. I had to change rooms because there was a really strong urine smell in my room. (In the hotel's defense, they did move time to a room without that issue and I had no other issues for the rest of my stay.)
-Paper thin walls. I don't mind street sounds so much, but hearing conversations from adjacent rooms was irritating. (Like, imagine a hearing a 45 minute conversation next door with someone talking on speakerphone. I was rough.)
Overall, this place is pretty average. Not the best. Not the worst. Just okay. I probably wouldn't book it again, unfortunately.
