Ideal location if you have a train leaving Chamartín. Hotel looks tired on the outside and adequate on the inside. Has a try hard low cost feel / business hotel feel to it.

Ok, this is difficult since there’s so many things that depends on your preference. The hotel location is literally in a train/bus station. For this, it looks horrible and looks dangerous. By the other hand, is obviously quick and easy to take the train to the plaza. (Walking is not an option, 40mins+) so, location: good since the station is available, bad because the train station area looks horrible and scary, and bad because is really far from walking areas for tourists to see and shop. The breakfast: horrible! It was the worst breakfast in all the europe trip, eggs are horrible in all the options that they have, even the coffee tastes bad and everything is cold! Even though we are the first ones to arrive. In the other hand, the dinner was nice. I LOVED the huevos a la flamenca, and the service was really nice. The rooms are not pretty at all, look old, and not nice looking.

Clean and Convenient Base.
The hotel was a practical choice for my stay. The room was clean and functional, meeting all my basic needs with a good standard. Its location was a definite plus, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the noise from outside was a bit disruptive in the morning. Overall, it was a recommendable place to stay for a short trip.

A hotel in a perfect location, above the train station, 24-hour service. Nice and clean rooms, restaurant and beer bar which are open late. Decent prices and food are just delicious, all served with a passion.

Although a long way out of town centre, it sits right next to the train station. Trains in Madrid are good and easy to use.
Room was clean and a good size. Although located between a highway and the train station, found it to be very quite.

Close to metros and trains, good breakfast, mostly friendly staff, room is clean. WiFi has to be the worst I've encountered in years. And yes when in room you can hear everything in the corridor.

The hotel is centrally located a quick walking distance to Metro lines and over land railwau station.
The rooms are neat and tidy with good bathroom.
Only oroblem is there was no a/c or fan. But you can request the staff to help open the windows.
The staff and their friendly service and approach is the BEST Experience.

What a disappointment!
The welcome at the desk was as cold as an iced coffee.
It was my birthday and they didn't even see it at the check-in... Not even a smile... (Next day I was in Zurich in a real 4 stars and they had a little fun... Like you know it's 🆓 to be kind)
The room was very basic... Nothing exceptionnal. Clean but not perfect.
It's more a 3* hotel than a 4* hotel

Very slow internet. Avoid if you need wifi to do any work or family calls during your stay. Tested the connection in my room, in the restaurant and in the lobby. Could never get speeds above 5 mbps. Intermittent dropouts in my room made it completely unusable. I could take WhatsApp calls in the lobby. Staff sent someone to “fix” the internet in my room. Made no difference.
I stayed only one night. Checked out early so I could get to the airport, for my calls, where there is functioning Internet.
Other than that, a very neutral experience. Location is great if you need to use the train or get to the airport. Rooms are were nice enough, albeit a bit old and tarnished. Friendly staff. Coffee machine broken.
Overall feels like this may have been a decent hotel once upon a time but after many years of insufficient upkeep it just … isn’t.
I stayed only one night. Checked out early so I could get to the airport, for my calls, where there is functioning Internet.

It was a great stay, however as close as it sits to the station, somehow is a horrible location. I recommend Barcelo better.
