I've been staying here for two days now and its pretty ok, i complaint i have though, is the fact that in order to turn on the AC, you have to pay the ridiculous price of 45€. This was fine for a one night stay. But the AC was pretty dirty and the overall layout of the room was inconvenient. The bed offered no blanket, just a sheet.

Clean, beautiful, sadly no safe in room and not allowed to flush used toilet paper down the toilet. But there is fridge in room, water heater, weight scale, sewing kit, hair dryer, tv, air conditioning, telephone, even table for ironing, mosquito repellent, fast Wi-Fi huge shower... Be careful you can lock the keys in the room if you close doors with keys in room.

Good place for a couple of days or a week. Decent accomodation. If you choose breakfast you get a decent meal în the morning. The owner of the hotel is nice and can give you advices. I don't understand why this hotel has so many dodgy reviews. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Four of us spent a week here in mid May 2025. It is so lovely and quiet. Aris, Eleni & Dimitri are good hosts and very welcoming. A very nice studio apartment. Recently renovated to a high standard. A large triple bed room, a very good air con unit and a basic kitchen area good enough for your basic self catering requirements. The room was light and airy. The proprietors were nice and helpful especially the old chap and the younger son. We didnt use the facilities as we prefer the beach, but the pool looked good.

We had a great stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. The pool area was lovely with a view of the mountains. Location was perfect as it wasn’t directly next to the clubs but still within walking distance.

Each room has its own balcony, rooms with a different number of beds, the linen is always clean. Responsive hosts. The hotel is located in the center of Malia, very convenient if you want to have access to bars and restaurants day and night, there is a 24 hour shop nearby.

I like that Nikos Hotel is not in the centre so it's quite (besides Mondays when you may expect big techno party just opposite site). I dont like the fact that pool at the bar is closed at 7pm, this is big disadventage that is why 4 stars. Towers changed once a week, breakfast the same every day but in principle good when you take a look at the price.

We just checked in yesterday evening and were warmly greeted at the lobby. After a long walk, we had a good night rest. Woke up feeling energized. So the beds have passed the test. They have a good basic assortment of basic food for a basic breakfast buffet. What a great place to stay! Price-quality ratio is good! You get what you pay for. The staff were very kind and available. Very interactive and very clean environment. Breakfast was also very good. The room was beyond our expectation. The downside was their wifi. They could improve on their WiFi connection. But generally exceeded our expectation.

Amazing location, breakfast was perfect, the food in general they served was very nice. Rooms were quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned daily. Fantastic location too, the only fault is the gym equipment (lat pull down machine) is faulty and cannot be used at all. All in all completely worth the money and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Still a family atmosphere, still attentiveness, still a delicious breakfast, they have won our hearts again. It is close to the beach. We had a week at Thalia deco city and beach hotel at the end of June. When we arrived in the dark, late at night we were a bit worried that it wasn't near anything. How wrong were we!! everyone , everything was amazing loved its so much rebooked it for September 12 weeks after our stay . Hotel management team and all staff just so helpful, our case was lost they got it back for us in a few hours calling around to find it nothing was too much trouble from start of our holiday to the day we left we just loved it . Thalia Hotel is our favourite hotel on Crete. Owners & staff ensure guests have the most wonderful holiday. Location could not be better. Few minutes walk to beach, shops & restaurants. Bus stops conveniently situated only a couple of minutes from hotel. Hotel is spotless. Rooms have everything you need & are very comfortable.

The central location means 24/7 noise from the club next door. Noise from 10:00 a.m. during the day until the evening, and especially at full volume all night. Sleep is only possible with earplugs. In the evenings, there are the restaurants right on the water's edge. There you can get delicious food and expensive drinks, and we were more or less politely asked to come in at almost every stall. Our fourth visit to this hotel. A favourite of ours although this visit we did feel it would benefit from a little maintenance. Rooms clean and comfortable although a bit noisy. Breakfast was excellent with great service and tasty food. Parking very handy.

Located right on the beach, this property also had a lovely pool. Spacious rooms had an amazing view of the ocean from our balcony. Close to everything, the beach, shopping, and excellent dining. The staff was wonderful and provided everything we needed for delightful experience. A delicious breakfast was also included with our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent stay in the heart of Hersonissos close to shops , car /boat rentals and all attractions, offers delicious breakfast and free parking .The receptionist person was more than helpful and welcoming.
