2 star hotels in Hersonissos

This is a simple, low-cost hotel, but we loved it! It is cosy, friendly, clean. You have a nice, quite deep, swimming pool. A Polish, kind receptionist that is always willing to help. Dimitris - the owner - is friendly and open for a chat. Breakfasts are not varied (almoust every day the same), but one can choose from quite many sweet and salty options. The only minuses are: water from the sink - salty...

We like the palce very much. It's clean, good breakfast even though it is the same every day. A little bit off the main road but very close too all you need (shops, buses, beaches- the beaches there are not great but you can find nice spots). And I'm very grateful to a Polish member of the staff who helped us immensly when we needed it (getting an important information for us we couldn't get ourselves

Where to even start! 100% get a holiday booked at this amazing hotel. It deserves to be more than a 2star hotel! This is the only holiday (out of many) that I have genuinely felt cared for by staff. Truly nice place, absolutely friedly staff, clean rooms, not far for anything you need outside, but inside is enough for relaxing and pleasent stay! Maybe its 2 stars but you may find many of threes much worse than Dimitra. Thank you for perfect vacation.

It was very good for the money. The rooms are simple, enough for a night's sleep. The Czech lady at the pool bar is a very unsympathetic person, the drinks are appallingly disgusting, you can only drink white lady. We were absolutely satisfied with this hotel. People forget that this is 2 star hotel and they expect much more than they should. Hotel was cheap and clean so everything i needed. It's and old not fancy hotel but that was reflected on the cheap price so nothing wrong with that. There was a 1000 years old tv, not sure if was working as i didn't even turned it on. There was no wifi at all even if it was advertised in the contract. I like the hotel and the twin hotel opposite it, where breakfast and dinner are served. It also has a swimming pool! The room (air-conditioned) is basic and spacious with a tiny balcony. The food is good both for breakfast and dinner.

Came with two friends for a week in the sun and it was perfect. Benjamin and Gordon were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Truly feels like home from home. Loved our stay here. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great week

A great cozy little hotel where we started our Crete adventure. Treated like old friends from the moment we showed up, it felt extremely safe and easy access to a nice strip of beach with lots of restaurants and amenities. The owners and staff are super friendly and had all sorts of great advice before we headed out to explore the rest of Crete.

Home Hotel is literally a home from home. Simple but inviting rooms, great hosts and always freshly cooked food. The bar is well stocked and gardens are pretty. The pool (although I didn't use it) is very deep. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I've been staying here for two days now and its pretty ok, i complaint i have though, is the fact that in order to turn on the AC, you have to pay the ridiculous price of 45€. We chose not to pay this, and therefore the room is very hot at all times. The pool isnt very big, but with the limited amount of guests, the space is pretty ok. Great place. Sweet people and staff. I recommend to come before or after July, June & August for a quiet time, otherwise there will be a lot of noise etc because of students and young people.

This hotel is just amazing. The staff are friendly and makes it easy to see that they focus on the guests. It may be a budget hotel, but you definitely get more service than you pay for. The night staff Nagi is an amazing person and really do care for all the guests. This will be the hotel I will stay at when I return.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, we were welcomed straight off the bus which was lovely. From the minute of arrival we were made to feel at home. Food was lovely, rooms very clean and a great atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you to all the amazing staff!

Fantastic apartments, superb staff and owners. Bathrooms are beautiful. Plenty of light for the wife to put makeup on. Overhead shower. The apartments are spotlessly clean. Without a doubt I will be back.

Wonderful little complex. Excellent staff who will do anything they can for you. Food served here is also delicious and rooms are comfy and clean. We have been back multiple times and will be booking again.

Previously visited in 2019, second visit in 2022. Nothing much has changed and nor should it. Beautiful apartments and absolutely amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they are incredibly knowledgeable about the island and will go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Highly recommended!

Faultless stay. Everything about these apartments is just what I was looking for in a holiday. Lovely pool area and rooms. The area to have a drink/ something to eat is fab. The staff are also just amazing, I felt so relaxed. Can’t wait to return! :)

Great family run complex, staff wonderful, friendly and nothing too much trouble, good pool and bar, usually ate there for lunch, but tried a different evening meal at the many tavernas further up the hill, taxis always available, staff ring them for you, not to far to walk if you want. At the moment it is already called Elia Hotel Apartments. Rooms a'la late Gierek. Clean but a bit run down. With a little work and money, it could be much better. There are quite a few shortcomings even at this price. Excellent hotel. Now called Elia Apartments. The price initially makes it clear that this is not a luxury class, but three stars, and even for three stars the price is low, so the price-quality ratio exceeded expectations. We were very worried about the negative reviews, but everything turned out fine on the spot. We arrived late, dinner was already over, the hostess was very friendly, fed and watered...

The room was noisy, e.k. the windows were on the road. Everything else corresponds to the cost (interior, state of mind, Territory, distance from the sea). I liked the breakfast, in the village it is unlikely that there will be cheaper and denser. Found better, but more expensive.

As 2* hotel Zorbas was perfect for trip aruond Crete. We stayed for sleeping and breakfast. Our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels also. Breakfast and service was very good. We will come back:) location also good, 50m til the sea, good street, you will find everything you need - from food til fun. Other beaches also not very far away.

Very nice hotel, near the beach and walking area. Rooms are clean, hotel stuff is very peacefull, communication on English is good. I would recommend this holel if you want be near the beach. Brekfast is ok (at least for me). Only bad thing is wifi. Connection is bad, in the hotel lobby you have the connection but not in rooms. Anyhow, my overal grade is 4/5 :) Enjoy :)

Great hotel, really nice owners. Enjoyed it a lot! I would recommend it to everyone who loves chilling near the beach and having calm holiday. I was there for 5 days and I had a beautiful view from my balcony.

Cheap and clean. If you need to save money and be near of two beaches in the same time, this is the place. It's in front of the beach! Wonderful landscape! The apartments are simple but the people are nice.

This is basic accommodation in a family run business. They are like my second family. Very many returners. Mainly assorted Brits but other regulars too...and we all mix in well. NOT CLICKY.

What can we say. Another fantastic holiday at Minas Apartments. Two friends with us this time and made so welcome. Minas Maria Jenny and Thanos are fantastic hosts nothing 2 much trouble. Can't wait 2 return, Roll on next June. Renee & Ruth
