Where to stay with kids in Hersonissos

We have just returned from an amazing family holiday with our 2. This hotel has absolutely everything you need. We stayed for 1 week, only a short drive from the airport which is perfect with a little one

The hotel is beautiful, with such a Greek feel around the place, beautiful plants everywhere. The pools are so clean & the water park is amazing for all ages. Me and my husband love the slides

Unfortunately, even tho there are signs everywhere, people still go out in the morning and reserve every seat at the pools or beach. If you want to take advantage of the restaurants, cinema, nightly shows, water park

We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful stay!

The food was one of the best we have had at an all inclusive resort

prepare for a bit of walking as everything is spread out through the very large resort

The hotel of course attracts people from different age groups, and perhaps families with loud children isn’t the perfect match for elderly people with hearing aids, but they do their very best to cater for everyone’s taste offering family areas, as well as adult only areas

For entertainment, there is organized animation for both adults and children, ensuring that everyone has something to enjoy

Awesome water park for kids of any age, sunbeds on the beach available for free, beach nice and clean, with a part without stones after entering the sea, car rental, supermarket and souvenir shops onsite

The food is outstanding, with several restaurants to choose from, each offering a unique and delicious dining experience. There are also multiple bars to enjoy, providing a variety of drinks in relaxing atmospheres

Dinners in the main restaurant have different themes every day. There is an excellent fish restaurant within the hotel area: octopus, calamari and great variety of fish

Huge hotel complex, great food, however the fish restaurant could be better (grilled stuff had weird taste because the grill probably hasn't been washed for some time)

The facility has excellent pools where children can spend the whole day, and the dining service is of the highest quality. I want to particularly mention the restaurant staff who fully catered to our needs

The stay at Lyttos Mare was just wonderful. The food was really nice and the service overall was just fantastic. The rooms with individual pool are superior and come with some extra benefits

All rooms are organized in a semicircle around multiple large pools, some with sea water and some with fresh water. There are ample and very comfortable pool chairs everywhere with shading umbrellas

They are modern and equiped with small refrigerators, and a small safe. The bottom level rooms have a small pool connected to the rooms

do a fantastic job! Clearly working very hard and provide that extra level of care and service. You'll not be short of things to do, with plenty of pools, arcade games, beach, bars and restaurants a short walk away

The only thing that wasn't clear online when boiking through jet2 was that it is 3 hotels in 1 and you don't have shared access to it all. All in all a fantastic place for families with young children and teenagers!

Great and helpful staff, lots of activities for kids, but the highlight for me was Rocco the magician. Very funny and the kids were roaring with laughter, as were the adults. Any chance to see Rocco is a huge bonus

Absolutely no complaints from us. And out of all the holidays we've had we left here feeling like we got what we paid for when booking all inclusive. Water park was great for the little one

below average (see the picture with the 2 "logs" - supposed to be kebab - are you serious?), but we had a lot of fun. - Airplanes come and go quite closely, but not a problem

Desserts were above average compared to my previous experincenses, when it comes to all inclusive. - They got a unique restaurant, which you may visit once for free

Resort is beautiful, facilities for a family are great. Lots of options for pools and dining. Beach is stunning and very close. Restaurant and bar staff are great. Resort is kept immaculately clean

Me and my family waited in the lobby, and then ate lunch for those few hours, but there was a big problem all of us had; it was horribly hot inside the hotel too

One of our party is coeliac and the meals are made personally and brought to the table. Absolute must for families!!! Hotel grounds are well tended to. Flumes are fab for the kids! Will book again when we get back

The only downside was the reception staff were unhelpful. We asked 3 or 4 basic questions over the week and each time they would say we don’t know and move on to the next person. This really let the resort down

You could barely notice a difference being in and out of the lobby, and unfortunately, already having traveled hours and not being given our rooms, the heat was just another add to the stress

When we were finally shown to our rooms, I was just simply disappointed. I believe that the minimum for every and any hotel is cleanliness, and this place definitely didn't have that

Very good quality WiFi in all areas. Also the pool lovely and clean. We will definitely prefer it again!

Very clean with comfortable rooms and beds with comfortable mattresses and pillows that ensure a good night's sleep. It's very easy to access the location and is near by center of town

The beach is sandy, but the entrance to the water is rocky, where immediately, where there are places for children to swim. To enter the depths, a home-made pantone was made from bags, not slippery

They were well-maintained and provided a relaxing oasis. We loved lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun, and enjoying refreshing drinks from the bar. Overall, our second visit was a fantastic experience

Beautiful Hotel, food is absolutely amazing & the pools are plentiful & clean. Lots to do for the children.

We travel as a family of three so prefer when the room has a separate area for child to sleep but that's just a preference. The facilities were great, particularly the waterpark

We recently had the pleasure of returning for our second stay, and it was every bit as delightful as we remembered! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home

Our room was just as we remembered – spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. It offered the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The pool areas were a highlight once again

Again we could not fault the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner there is plenty to choose from and if you would like a change they also have 4 onsite restaurants that are also included in your all inclusive package

Everything as expected for such hotel type. Great food, kids' animations, facilities, swimming pools with bars, night bar with live music nice and friendly people. Nice vilage with beaches nearby (10 mins walk)

Stayed for 10 days in September and what a fab place. Excellent choice of good quality food, pool areas very clean with tasteful fun games at family pool area. All staff very friendly and helpful

Great hotel with friendly and polite staff, with fantastic facilities and multiple pools. However if you want the beach you'll need to get the free shuttle bus to the golden beach, approximately 5 minutes away

All inclusive* (*from 10:30 to 22:30) The hotel overall is good, could be great but there is just too much unnecessary annoyance especially bad micromanaging and it's more suited for families or older people

It was located close to the newly revamped kids fun pool which our two couldn't get enough of! Our 8 year old also loved the big slides on the waterpark! We all had an unforgettable weeks holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Children's animation, decent kitchen. The beach is small and not very wide area for children in the shallow water, but swimming with a mask not to swim out of the Bay you can see a huge number of marine animals

My family and I, wife and children aged 9 and 11, had a wonderful 5 days at the Arminda. The food quality was good, tasty and plentiful

High quality different sunbed types, plenty of parasols, a lovely relaxing shaded area in the centre gives the feel of almost like a beach club but without the party atmosphere! There is also the most quaint very tasteful Greek church on the complex which I've never seen in a complex before

We stayed here for our first visit to Crete and after our experience here we hope to return! The staff were amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were good, beds comfortable, bathrooms a little basic

The breakfast was very nice and the poolside bar was great for drinks, luch and snacks. We ate at Oliva restaurant what a beautiful view! Again staff there were brilliant

By the pool there is a bar and sometimes there are live concerts. In the Oliva restaurant there were also live concerts and traditional Greek dancing shows. Every Friday in the hotel are yoga classes for the guests

I think it would benefit from a lifeguard if only to stop children constantly jumping and diving all day long. If you want a peaceful swim go early. We had a fabulous 11 days here and hope to return next year 😀

It had some issues by the pool, which I think is worth noticing. Also, there is small area with playground for children, table tennis, bilard and coin football

Great hotel, well situated with chalet style accommodation, private pools and a main pool with waterslide. Plenty of bars, restaurants, game facilities, gym, tennis courts and squash courts

The room was spotless and cleaned beautifully every day with linen changes whenever required. From the porters to the manager everyone was without exception friendly and accommodating

Very nice hotel in Hersonissos. Close to the city center and beach. Public transport, shops, attractions, restaurants and bars are nearby. Thanks to friendly staffs in the hotel we had great time here.
