At all - everything was good, hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and very close to the central street, where you can walk, food is very variable and delicious, but the room needs to be more comfortable, it was small, coffee machine didnt work, ypu have to buy water separate. Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. They sell u the room as luxury sea view and you pay over euro 500 a night for a run down room. Food is mediocre, WiFi doesn’t work, and staff are ill trained to handle customer demands. We recently stayed at Creta Blue for the week. This hotel is beautiful and set high up with a lovely view. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sunbeds were so comfortable and the pool was great. The village of Koutouloufari had great options of restaurants and bars. We definitely plan on coming back!

Amazing location, breakfast was perfect, the food in general they served was very nice. Rooms were quiet and clean. Staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned daily. Fantastic location too, the only fault is the gym equipment (lat pull down machine) is faulty and cannot be used at all. All in all completely worth the money and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

This is a beautiful property with lovely pools and great food! The customer service we received was incredible and everybody was extremely warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Thalia Hotel is our favourite hotel on Crete. Owners & staff ensure guests have the most wonderful holiday. Location could not be better. Few minutes walk to beach, shops & restaurants. The central location means 24/7 noise from the club next door. Noise from 10:00 a.m. during the day until the evening, and especially at full volume all night. Sleep is only possible with earplugs. We spent 5 nights at Artemis and absolutely loved it. You get everything what you would expect from a 4-star place. Our room was cosy and clean, AC working all the time without any issues. Everybody working there was very nice and helpful, especially Konstantin: gave us advice on where to eat, ordered taxi for us, helped us with printing boarding passes.
