Pool was lovely, and the animation team give a really good vibe with lots to do in the daytime. The sunset over the water is incredible and the hotel pool bar has a great view

Breakfast and lunch had a lot of choice, but there is also poolside options as well which makes it flexible. Personally we didn’t have dinner at the hotel as there are better options at nearby Analipsi and Heronissos

Top Tip - download the Freenow App as works same as uber and is cheap and easy to travel around. Overall would highly recommended and would visit again!

good viry good i liked in the hotel in the People in the activities very nice goodtime internatiomal entertainment and Coralia group. The food is very good and we will recommend to friends and family

During the day, there is a tavern near the pool, where you can always refresh yourself:) Wines of excellent quality! The animation team is just a whirlwind of endless energy!! Daytime activities around the pool, yoga, darts and all sorts of fun competitions for teenagers

My daughter loved the kids' club (bookable online) and the staff there. special wine at dinner) were charged extra. Otherwise, all drinks and snacks were included. The food was always delicious and fresh

Sunbeds by the pool do go fairly quickly but there were always beds on the beach available all day. Food at the buffet was amazing and the adult only area was nice and relaxed

We had a wonderful stay here, and highly recommend it. My husband and I brought our 1 year old, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly with the baby

I spent a week at the resort all-inclusive with my daughter. After initially being given a somewhat noisy room, we requested a quieter one, which was immediately accommodated

There was only one negative thing: One evening, when we wanted to have a drink at a bar, we weren't served but told the bar wasn't for children

My parents also came, and the staff were very supportive & helpful to them, as my mother is currently on a walking stick

There is also a free shuttle bus by the hotel to take you to the star beach which also has a few water slides which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was €10 each for the full day

Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc)

Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport

We have just arrived home from a wonderful holiday at the Belvedere. We have three teenagers and they all thoroughly enjoyed. There are 3 big pools to choose from, but their favourite was the top pool with the jacuzzi

Also , why charge 1 euro a day for a pool towel, it’s supposed to be an all inclusive. Lastly, serving cocktails in a paper cup near the pool area is just odd

Very varied, many salads, different meat, rice, potatoes, pasta or fries to choose from. I can highly recommend the hotel, because even in bad weather it can be endured very well

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days recently and I will definitely be returning, perfect for children, they absolutely loved the pools, play areas and slides

All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them

Everything for the family stay is here. Plenty of attraction, few pools and bars. Besides that location is great- everything nearby including clubs bars and restaurants

The 2 Albanian gentleman working the pool bars were the rudest, most miserable people I met the whole holiday. Advice, get a job where do you don't deal with people. I would recommend this place for families

Disco each night was a bit repetitive but kids loved learning the same dances. food could be a bit better but we always found something to eat as there’s plenty of option. Our room was very clean with a perfect sea view

Also 3 different pool bars included with drinks and some snacks. The Water Park is right next door and has multiple pools for all ages. Some slides for and access to sunbeds in the park and on the beach are also included

The food is excellent and the selection is amazing! The area can be a bit windy since it’s up north, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy – lots of pools, fun water slides, kids’ corners, playgrounds, and more

We are On our last day at this hotel. Rooms are excellent, and cleaned every day. Lots of choice of food and drink. Places to eat all over the complex. Pools are a little cold, but everyone loved the new water slides

The whole resort is quite spacious and access to everything is included in the price, even the sunbeds on the beach. It’s truly a paradise for children

But as I'm laying here at 21:05, and my hotel room is literally shaking from the sound of their ''entertainment'' which tonight is bingo night, they are screaming numbers and repeating them in German & French

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

Staff were great although the bar staff were always stretched resulting in long queues. Water park area is fantastic. The option of an indoor pool in low season also great if the weather is not great

Beach area is amazing and so are the never ending pool options. The kids club looked great although our kids were probably on the older side so didn’t participate

A beautiful hotel , in a really nice quiet setting ! Food was amazing but the staff is what made the trip exceptional , so friendly and will do anything to make you feel welcome ! Eva and the rest of then service time i can't thank enough ! Would 100% recommend and return

We arrived after midnight and were offered food which really does not happen elsewhere- so kind of reception. Beach is 5mins walk so you dont get bored. 26 degrees all week at the end of October

Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxation and not the 'policing' type hotel

We have just come back yes the rooms are standard and not the same pictures as advertised but it was clean the cleaners in every day , the food was repetitive and not always hot but I must say Angelo amd his team worked very hard with the likes of marianna and eva and giannis always having a smile and must say Angelo

Service throughout the hotel was amazing and cannot fault at all. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Beach is a pebble/rocky beach, this didnt bother us as we were happy by the pool

There's an astro pitch, tennis courts and arcades and pool table for other entertainment. Unfortunately, didn't get an opportunity to try the sushi bar but it looked really nice

Our second stay this year! Amazing hotel. I'd accidently booked the wrong room type, and we were upgraded for free. Giannis provided excellent service around the pool

The hotel itself is amazing with three pools and plenty of bars with four a la crate restaurants and a sushi bar alongside the main restaurant

Enjoyed the darts competition, beach volley, table tennis tournament, water polo matches, aqua gym sessions and suitable for all ages

Not only are there 2 pools, but also a sea down the street. You can ride jetskis in the sea. There's also a bar, an 8-ball place and a lot of shops nearby from this hotel

The poolside bar offered great food, and great service and at very fair prices. Hotel is well situated to access the beach, and the short walk to the port, where many boat trips are accessible

I really love this place! I like the food from the buffet, you can choose what to eat in the morning or in the evening. The rooms are a little small for my liking though

We were half board and the food was lovely, plenty to choose from. Swimming pool clean and no issues with a sun beds. Daily housekeeping room service provide by lovely staff. Bar staff always welcoming and smiley

However, I do like the feature where you let the cleaning ladies just clean your room. Not to mention the staff are really nice and they guide you through the room

My stay at the hotel 06-11 October was perfect. The workers of the hotel were hospitable and pleasant. Rooms are always tidy and good equipped. I had nice view on the street and the beach

Our room (with a private pool) was very good, great bed and very clean. The pool was very cold in September but it was nice to sit near it

The dining room is large and luxurious, there is plenty to eat for everyone from adults to children. The water park is huge and there are facilities for everyone

We stayed for a week in a suite with a private pool and loved it. The staff were excellent to a fault, especially the bar staff - couldn't rate them high enough

Positive Aspects • The resort grounds are beautifully designed, very well-maintained, and filled with greenery, creating a relaxing atmosphere

Other stuff isn't overpriced either. Hotel buildings are 4 stories at max. Water slides offer average thrill. Only downsides are that heated pool was as cold as outside and massage jets don't work

Just back from a ten day stay at Grand Hotel. Super clean rooms and dining areas. Pool areas power hosed every morning and then mopped by the very hard working cleaners

Excellent choice of food in main restaurant and vegetarians catered for at all times. Desserts delicious and plenty of choice compared to many other all inclusive hotels that I’ve stayed in

A special mention to George in the restaurant who is just one of those welcoming and helpful people that makes your holiday very special. He’s worked there for 25 years and could not do enough for our family

- 4 pools (main, kids, relaxed, slides) with plenty beach chairs (saltwater like most pools on creta, slide pools is fresh water) -bars with coffee, branded softdrinks, ice cream and even fresh cocktails (fresh lime/lemon/mint) -you need to take a transit to the beach but it's not far and will transfer you every 15 mins or faster

An outstanding gentleman and a huge asset to Grand Hotel! Mary Ann and Hannah were also exceptional restaurant staff and so friendly and helpful

All staff were first class, Stefanos the Restaurant Manager was five star and personable in attendance to us and it was a joy to chat with him. The pools are all amazing and accessible beach made the stay enjoyable.

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

The only food that was tasty and appropriate for the hotel level was the food that was paid extra in the restaurant on the beach/pool

There is no free drink, the water is sold at a price 13 times higher than in nearby supermarkets

Good service except for the guy who works on the beach and rents out sunbeds and umbrellas, arrogant and rude. recommend to choose the nearby beaches

The room on the small side but you do not go on holiday to spend time in a room the bathroom had a reasonable size shower cubicle with excellent waterfall shower but also compact. The room had a fridge, kettle and cups

Hotel was recently renovated so it felt like brand new. Bed was super comfortable and yes double beds do separate but to us it made no big difference. Staff really nice people! I would give extra star for cooks

Life guards were on duty in all pool areas which was reassuring. Location and sea views from our room were amazing especially early morning sun rise was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Room was clean; towels got replaced everyday. The poolwater is salty and clean too. Food was average, since there isn't a wide variety. The waiter are attractive and nice. The beach is a 10 minute walk from thr hotel

We visiting the Aegeo spa for a Cretian massage and it was amazing. I was taken care or by Leo and was warmly welcomed with my husband. We both felt very well taken care of. I can recommend Leo as a massage therapist

I had a wonderful massage experience with Lito today. It was a very relaxing time at the Aegeo Spa of the Anissa Beach resort. Also huge shout-out to Maria who did all the bookings and recommendations

He provided an amazing service especially for me who is not a frequent massage person and who was nervous regarding the pressure. Could highly recommend all who are visiting the Anissa Beach Resort

Elmon did my massage and it was truly amazing, she was so gentle and really soothing. She was very careful and asked me about every little detail. 10/10 would recommend and come back again! :)

The adult only pool looked nice a quiet. The staff are all so friendly and always smiling, from the waiters to the gardener. The maids are absolutely gems, the room was always spotless, even with 2 teens

Pictures on website can be quite deceiving. Yes we did have an individual pool but it was really overlooked. We were in a room of 3 in a row. We did feel it lacked the privacy we were hoping for

Totally overlooked by other rooms. No privacy whatsoever felt as it we were in the same pool

We literally could see the staff pouring drinks from our room(not so private)! We heard a lot of guests complaining that there rooms were not as advertised and to be honest most got fobbed off by reception who are paid to act like a doctor’s receptionist and have an answer for everything

we overheard them mocking guests that had complained. Would I go back to this hotel, no, I feel unless you stay in the elite or deluxe rooms you will probably be disappointed with your room

Though yes we knew it was an inland view we were surrounded by 2 overhead walkway bridges to the restaurant and bar so guests constantly walking overhead and peering down

All inclusive buffet is very good with a nice variety each day. Rooms are clean and tidy with plenty of space for 2. We had room 448 which was in an excellent location with a main pool view and a distant sea view

Bed were changed regularly and rooms cleaned daily. Pool we went to the one nearest reception. All staff were very cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, the meals were good and varied

These were ZAC the Bar man in the Romantic Bar and Yulia the waitress in the buffet area - thank you both ! 👏👏 My only problem was the entertainment team have a very poor microphone, Everybody sounded muffled

Our room had a fridge to keep your drinks cool and a kettle if you fancy an early morning hot drink. There is 3€ per day charge to use the safe and a 10€ room tax per night which is paid on arrival

We met the manager he takes great pride in keeping the hotel running in A1 condition. All in all we had an excellent time and it would be good to go back

Staff are 100% focused on providing a good holiday experience. Two in particular stood out more than others

Food is buffet style of reasonable quality, but fairly unadventurous. The pool area is large with a bar. My only disappointment was the lack of water provided made worse by the over pricing of all drinks

Can't rate staff here enough, nothing is too much trouble, Xsnthippi was amazing in releasing tension during my massage. Only niggle is smoking, where some guest are inconsiderate when sunbed are so close

Just got back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at Insula Alba. This Hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve been to in Europe. The Rooms are great and having a swim up pool at the bottom of your sun loungers is top notch

swim-up room complete waste of money, water so cold painful getting in and no better once you were in, took the breath of you and a pleasure getting out, no parasols provided to keep the sun of you, the main pool water same some parasols provided there, did complain to reception about the coldness only to be told there was an indoor pool which was heated, who goes on holiday to a hot country in summer...

On a plus point cleanliness really good, staff excellent both at the bar and restaurant, tips not expected for service. Would return if not for the temperature of the pool water

But most of all our pool barman MANOS He was not only great at making any cocktail we asked for but went above and beyond to make us feel special and it actually felt like he was a long time friend

Have just returned from a 7 day break at the Caldera Palace with the wife my son his fiancée and my 3 yr old grand daughter We had rooms 8001 family swim up and 8002 double swim up Room was large massive queen size bed and brim on all inc was nice to have a complimentary bottle of wine along with the mini bar that was replenished each day Food in the main restaurant was really good with a vast selection...

The hotel complex is large with a number of pools including adult area (that you don't need to pay extra for so parents can take advantage of some quiet time whilst the children are in kids club) family and splash pool

The rooms are spotless and clean, the staff are very helpful and we loved the waiter service for drinks by the pool. We have visited twice and enjoyed both holidays

Sometimes you get coffee from a push button machine, also gross. Then at breakfast you can be served what I think is filter? Could be wrong but regardless, it's disgusting. So apart from the coffee, great hotel

They have espresso machines and sometimes you get coffee from the 'proper' machines, I don't understand the why and where of getting coffee from a espresso machine but sometimes it arrives

Great hotel, staff are fantastic. If you're after an All In holiday it's hard to complain about it. However, the coffee is absolutely gross
