Steps from the train station and all the attractions. The nightly "welcome drink" and breakfast was wonderful. Little gifts with hand-written notes left in the room overnight was a wonderful touch

Highly recommend this hotel for its location and comfort. Walkable from the train station and to all important monuments, and many restaurants. Rooms are very well appointed, super comfortable beds and nice bathrooms

Every night we came back to the room we found ourselves a fancy little snack sitting at the coffee table from the hotel staff - how sweet!! The hotel is clean and even though the rooms may be small (well it is Florence after all!), they have everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was more than wonderful. The lady who made our coffee was so lovely

I could only remember one of the staff’s names Nick - he was such a joy to talk to! All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay and took lots of photos as well ready to show our family this lovely hotel!

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there a few weeks ago. The staff were so helpful and graciously answered all our questions

Breakfast and tea time were so fresh and delicious. And our room was comfortable, immaculate and quiet We were sad to leave and look forward to retuning soon!

The people that work in the hotel are so kind and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and within a 10-20 minute walk of most attractions

We stayed at the hotel Rapallo from the 8th - 13th June 2025. We could not fault the professionalism of the staff, the hospitality and the atmosphere, all were exceptional. Nothing was too much for the staff

It was a skip-floor room, but it was attractive because of its unique structure. The basics of the hotel are generally good.

Florence Classic is basically within walking distance, and I felt very good after staying for two days

The room is too small and the whole hotel smells like toilet. The room also smells like toilet. The location is really good, but if you mind the smell and size, I don't recommend this hotel. The service attitude is good.

The front desk staff was very polite and helpful, and spoke English well. The room was compact, but I personally didn't mind. Stylish interior. Free drinks in the minibar.

Good price and equal to quality

Very old hotel. In a old city. You shouldn't expect the bests . just pass your night in a old and beautiful city. Near the train station

But being on the 4th floor well 5th in US, it not bad even we opened the windows everyday for fresh air. Sound insulation for inside is not great. But hotel staff helped to close the “fire” door and made it great

It also feels warmer than other hotels i stayed, making it comfortable during March. Only thing to comment is the small shower area and there’s no thermal flask. Affordable price 65usd over a sunday night

3m walk to train station, near to popular restaurants, 24h reception, elevator to hotel and clean. I think the hotel did a renovation so the cabinets, tables and all look new

The cleaner comes in daily with fresh towels, which I'm impressive. The reception staff are excellent. The hotel is close to all amenities. We only have to walk everywhere & and love it. Train station is only 10 min walk

If going with a car, this is the best place to stay as it’s not too far from city of Florence and also offers a country view too!

There are some areas suitable for barbecues. The pool is very good for relaxing and for swimming as well. Perfect solution also for families, our kids are already asking to book it for the next summer

We were not informed in advance about the sauna/spa fee (20€/pers) I understand why it’s not free (otherwise it would probably be too crowded), but still, some clear communication would have helped

Well located right in the city center and buses pass right outside. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety. The streets are very noisy at night and you can hear everything, but that's not the hotel's fault.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during the summer. While the room was clean, there was a faint odor that, although noticeable, wasn’t significant enough for us to request a room change

We booked this place because it was close to the Duomo and it was pretty easy to walk to all the main attractions. The rooms were comfortable, they were very helpful in arranging transportation for us when needed

Their breakfast each morning is excellent - the best we had in Italy. Restaurants and gelato were nearby - and we had an American king-sized bed (which you can't always find in Italy)

I think the room is good, the hot water for the bath can be a little hotter. The service staff is very enthusiastic, and breakfast is in a high-end restaurant next door

Super convenient location, 10 mins to train station and ten minutes to Florence Cathedral. The breakfast is good. Value to stay. Suggest to stay at the new rooms in next building, the one we stayed in quite old

One side leads to the train station, and the other to the Medici Chapels and Basilica di San Lorenzo. It's very conveniently located near the heart of the historic city. The entire staff was incredibly friendly

I was allowed to check in early for free, which was very helpful. The hospitality is very good in general. The single room was much larger than it looked in the photos.

The room was large and the beds were comfortable. There is a shuttle to the city center at certain times. Overall, we were satisfied, we can stay here again when we come back.

It was located on a beautiful river. I will say it was not in the center of town at all. So you either need to get a cab, have a car rental or walk

We liked this hotel as a family but due to high season during the nye I assume the price was overrated. It is old building renovated with dark colours. Not k space in the room and the single bed was not comfortable

This place is romantic and artistic, it is really suitable for feeling the atmosphere and relaxing on holidays. The location is a little off, but the overall feeling is still quite good.

That made charging your phone not that easy as sockets were down below and room was dark. The room size is good and my room ha d a garden view. But there was no tea bag/ coffee/ water in the room

You could ask for some amenities ( eg slippers) but the worst impression I had with this hotel was when I asked for a tea bag ( which is normally provided in most hotels) the reception referred me to a ‘manger’ of restaurants who said I had to pay for a tea bag ( I assume he took it to be hot tea in room, but I gave my own hot water boiler and all I need is a tea bag)

It was ok in the daytime when you open the windows but when the curtains are drawn it feels like a bar , with a bed end bar like table and very small lights on the ceiling

I only stayed one night, but it was a hotel I wanted to stay at for several nights! The hotel was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk or take public transportation to get anywhere, but the road was flat, so moving my suitcase around wasn't too difficult

Great location right next to a tram station and not far from SMN. Bus stop that takes you to piazzale Michangelo is also around the corner. Breakfast was alright for what it was, delicious honey comb was on offer

We booked Portrait Firenze for our stay in Florence after having a great experience at Portrait Milano last summer. The hotel is centrally located and right on the Ponte Vecchio with outstanding views from the rooms

The only thing that would have made this hotel even better for me would be a gym, but as someone that likes to pack in one million activities into their vacation schedule this location was perfect

We didn’t take a cab our entire stay and were able to easily walk everywhere we needed to go. Now I will need to go to Rome to stay at the original location!
