Raeli Hotel Siracusa

The rooms were covered in mold, dust and dirt. The walls were scratched to pieces with dirt and blood marks on the walls. Beds were rock hard and were covered in a whole mound of bed bugs, i have bites all over me. The drain had pink goop in it and i was far too scared to touch it. The shower pressure was horrible and was like a constant dribble of water on your head. Bathroom roof was covered in black mould and i have ASTHMA so i had asthma attacks every night. window view was terrible and you could see into trash bins, drug needles and people shouting all night. Breakfast was the only good thing about this place. DO NOT GO!!!!

The front desk staff had a very bad attitude. They told us to go to the 4th floor to store our luggage, but it was actually on the 1st floor. Even after asking multiple times, they still said it was on the 4th floor. The elevator was extremely slow, and some of the staff couldn’t speak English.

For one or two nights this Hotel is perfect, the bed was confy, but the pillows very thin, room and bathroom very update and old. I went in December and because it was cold outside the A/C was shut down making the room hot, so we had to open the windows for cold air. Good thing we'll, is just across the Roma Termini, they have a storage, so if you are leaving you can storage your luggage for a while.
